Very good store literally CRAMMED with mangas, anime DVDs, and officially licensed memorabilia. There’s also some unrelated things that are also really cool. The man who owns the place was very kind and conversational. The dog was very nice and wanted to play with us. Really neat place to stop.

I really love this place, I try to stop by at least once every semester to see whats new here! The owner is easy to talk to (though as any seller would, sometimes he pushes products. That isnt an issue for me though, as he isnt aggressive and its expected...this is a job after all! But for those who dont like that, just keep it in mind) and his dog is wonderful. I just recently visited and there was a lot of hello kitty merch! That isnt what the entire shop is though, he carries just about everything here. MTG cards, plushies, figures, manga, etc! He sells at conventions so you can imagine thats why he carries just about anything! If youre interested in anime at all, please stop by!

Cool store for sure. But he’s taxing on prices big time. Taking advantage of items especially collections card wise. About $65 or over double the price of retail on most items... making resellers and scalpers look like saints

Very cool owner store is packed to the rafters with all kinds of sweet collects ranging from video games toys cards and movies I could spend days in here and not see half of it all. Owners pet lab very friendly . My young kids enjoyed the store as well . There is some thing here for everyone.

Great selection of collectables and fun items. Loved the black dog (lab) that was in the store. He is very friendly and loved to welcome guests. The staff was also friendly and very helpful.

I say 5 star. Would give it four until I found a Rem from Re: Zero Wonderland figure. I also would have given it four star because of how cramped it was. The owner was sweet and kind so 5 STAR IT IS!!!

Spent lovely hour or two there while visiting town. Had my husband and four kids with me, which usually makes people frustrated, but far from that the owner was friendly and helpful. There was so much to look at I could have spent way more time and money if Id had it to spend. Definitely coming back again!!

Great place; great management, variety of product, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and a very friendly puppy! Even if you are not knowledgeable in anime and are just gift shopping, I highly recommend this place.

Homophobic business owner end of story had my brothers review removed(I can’t see anymore it at least), Because it told the truth and he can’t handle the truth. Has also had reviews bumped on yelp that were practically the same thing by another individual. Bringing it to the attention of the appropriate groups in Texas to make sure this business is known as not safe..... Will also bring attention to the Texas Tech LGBT alliance and Equality Texas!! Not backing down from this one

Has a large selection of books and figures. Seem to have a good idea of the books he has in the store. If he does not have them in the store I believe he could possibly order them. I try to go by at least once a year when I come through Lubbock. The store reminds me of the 9 years I was stationed in Japan.

My experience at Black Dog Enterprise was extremely excellent called asked about an item but couldnt pick up till a few hours later i asked if the product could be put aside till i got there the owner didnt hesitate to do it he said sure and for that act of kindness to please his customers well deserved a 5 star rating and also he had exactly what i was looking for👍

Ive been going here for many, many years. I started going in as a mystified young teen in middle school and am equally excited to go now in my mid-20s.The shop absolutely jam-packed with product and it can be very overwhelming (in a good way). I like to refer to it as comfortably cluttered. Its always so exciting to take a one lap around the store and then take another one and find completely different things. In a perfect world, Id be able to spend an hour or two just obsessing over every nook and cranny.Even if youre not a big anime fan, this shop will have SOMETHING for you. The product truly feels endless and has become my go to place for many gifts.The shop owner is nice and extremely knowledgeable about his product. He can be, and I wholeheartedly blame my own anxieties on this, a bit intimidating at first. This is a good thing though; hes serious about getting the customer exactly what theyre looking for and I rarely leave empty handed and usually with more recommendations on games to look into or books to check out.Another amazing thing, of course, is the dog. Theres usually a few toys around and his dogs have always been very well mannered. Its such a treat to get greeted by such a sweet pup and occassionally followed around the store, toy in tow.In short, this shop has been a key part of my life for many years and I hope that it continues to be for many years to come.

Its a nice anime shop if you dont give the owner a bad time, he also has a deal table that you can give a reasonable offer on. The way to get to it is pretty beat-up though so its pretty hard to get there, worth it though!

Always helpful and always spot-on with prices. Fast assortment of collectible figures that you cant get anymore anywhere else so there going to be a little bit pricier but what do you expect when the figure is no longer made. They do custom orders for Games figures as well as books and anime.

//DISCLAIMER// I purchased some items from this stores booth at San Japan on Saturday, August 31st 2019. I have never personally visited this store. //DISCLAIMER//At San Japan the booth was selling some Magic the Gathering cards. Some friends and I picked up some old prerelease kits for $30 (a fair price at which to purchase, considering online they were running about $35-$40) when we opened said packs, we noticed there were very small diagonal cuts in the booster packs. My friends and I never attended a prerelease for the purchased packs, (Dominaria and Eldritch Moon) but we have opened many of the aforementioned packs, and attended every prerelease since Guilds of Ravnica. Not once have we ever encountered these cuts in the packs. On some of the Eldritch Moon packs, we saw what was definitely something akin to nail polish on some of the packs, in what seemed to be a way to paint over something. From what we can deduce, this seller opens MtG packs, takes out all the money cards, and proceeds to reseal and sell the packs. They dont take everything, leaving the buyer with some good cards, but not one card pulled was worth more than $5. This was out of 3 prerelease kits, something which has never been seen by any of us. I do have to give props to the precision and how convincing the packs were, but seeding packs means this seller will never have my business. If they seed packs, who knows with what else they try to scam people. Not worth it, find a better seller.

The shop had an amazing variety of both manga and figures. The figires are a bit on the expensive side but, i think that they are well worth the price considering the good condition they are in. He shop owner is a really cool guy too who has keeps his dog in the shop with him. The dog is also very cute ❤

A little cluttered but if youre an anime fan mostly this is the place you need to go. Table top roleplay on a broader spectrum, no miniatures available but plenty of other things to keep you looking around forever!

About 15 years ago, charged me $30 for a dvd he said was only available in his store. Found it for $8, at Walmart, one week later.

This store if the worse, I suggest that no one buys here. This guy buys figures and manga from online stores/shops and then changes the price to dramatic levels. This guy is not even a scalper, (you know those people who try to buy rare productions of items to make a quick buck). Most of his figures are still being made from the manufacturer and can be purchased from their website, what he does is buys them then changes the price of them triple times over even though theyre not rare.Not to mention his attitude is weird, He started yelling at me for no reason when I asked if the figure on his shelf went down in price. He continued to yell at me until I walked out the store, and even at that time he kept yelling WHY WOULD IT GO DOWN IN PRICE? IT WENT UP UP UP. And that was only our second visit because we thought he changed and we wanted to give him a chance. The first time, this creepy old man tried selling my girlfriend a hello kitty vibrator and her mom was even there.Bottom Line, if you want a good deal, go somewhere else. These are not manufacture prices, these are random prices he makes up in his head. If you never knew the internet existed, this is the store for you, you can easily get 2 items for the price of what hes selling 1 at. If youre looking for customer service and a friendly environment, dont bother, hes a rude creepy old man. Old man, old dreams.

Charged me $30+tax for an exclusive anime DVD that I later found at Wal-Mart for $9. This happened years ago, but it was an unforgettable experience.

The only thing worth buying is the manga because he cant legally change the price on them. My girlfriend saw a dj pon 3 figure she wanted the guy was selling it for 120$ on the website it was 40 dollars not only that but we go in there from time to time to look around and maybe buy but we quickly change our minds when the guy is adamant about us buying something. Aside from the manga everything is way over priced I once saw him try and sell a digimon season 1 DVD (the exact copy you can get at Walmart for 10$ because thats where it came from) for 100$ because its hard to find to a couple of school kids It wasnt a special edition or anything like that and thats the way it is with all his DVDs as well. A good place to walk into if your bored and have nothing better to do but I would not spend a single cent there. Screw that cheapskate. Barns and noble for your manga and the internet for everything else you wont get ripped off this way at least.

There is a lot of inventory spread out. So looking through everything was part of the fun.

I realy love the mood in this store! Some of the stuff you can get a cheaper base price online but after shipping and all that it would be the same or more. This man is so sweet and he realy knows what he is talking about! His passion for what he works with is so inspiring. I would deffinately really recommend checking this place out. There is so much to look at old and new. He knows exactly what he has and he can tell all about it. The best costumer service I have seen in a while. Just a nice guy and his dog trying to get by selling and informing everyone on the things he loves. Great experince!!
