Place is very rude . I will NOT. Return. They required masks when no other franchise required it. They would not take an exemption form. They also said they went by the CDC guidelines but the CDC says if you’re fully vaccinated you don’t need to wear it. Also the man working there was just dominating . I think it was cause were white… we felt really discriminated upon

Sara was very kind when I came in to get my glasses adjusted. There’s a reason why this place has such great reviews.. they really know how to make a simple transaction a meaningful experience. Don’t bother checking up with Visionmart down the roads.. they made me feel as if I was a burden coming in to get my glasses adjusted.

Sarah Smith went above and beyond to help me with an eyeglass problem. I have done business here for many years and have always found the entire staff helpful, courteous and service oriented. You can trust they will serve you in a professional manner and are really great at eyeglass adjustments and helping you pick out the best frames for your face shape. Dont listen to those goofy commercials come to where you get staff who really care about your needs no matter how busy they are!

Eyeglass World has the best selection of fun frames. But, we needed curbside assistance. Kathy was so very helpful! She went above and beyond to assist us and did so via curbside service. It was the most pleasant experience, and the frames she specifically chose for me are so perfect! The lenses were perfect. No adjustments needed. Such a relief! Kathy has a few new regulars here. Truly, she is so helpful, professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind. Such a delight to work with. Thank you Kathy!

My 15 year old needed an eye exam for the first time. He was so nervous. Getting an appointment was easy, the staff was great, and the doctor was amazing. Samera, in the doctors office, was so helpful and informative. She helped calm his nerves for sure. We then met with Hilary to find the perfect glasses. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about our insurance. My son left wearing his glasses that day! Such a great staff and quick, efficient lab. I could not have had a better experience.

Had a wonderful experience getting an eye exam done. I came in as a walk in and was seen right away. The technician and doctor were both so very nice and helpful. I did not end up getting glasses or contacts but the women up front who helped me look at payment options for those was also very professional and kind.

I always dread getting new glasses, but I stopped by Eyeglass World this morning and had a wonderful experience. I was extremely pleased to see everyone in masks. Krislyn and Kaitlin were fabulous! They helped me choose exactly what I was looking for and when I said I had reservations about this new prescription due to recent cataract surgery they reassured me and put my fears to rest. They were both patient, polite, and appeared to truly enjoy their job. They did not rush me and answered all my questions. When I told them I would like to have a friend take a look at what we picked out they offered to hold the frames for me until I could get back. Overall I can honestly say it was the best experience Ive had when shopping for glasses.

If you have children who have or need new glasses I highly recommend taking them to eye glass world to see Jaymee Barrera. She is amazing. I always hate going to find new glasses for my son because nobody really explains or helps me find the perfect set for my son but Jaymee made things so easy and she is truly great at what she does. She worked so well with my son on finding a pair that fit him perfect.

I am from out of state and I came to Eyeglass world for sun glasses to take to Las Vegas. I purchased two pairs with prescription in one pair. However my one pair with prescription can not be done due to error. I was so disappointed but the manager and salesman came to my aid. Up grated me no extra charge. The store (Lubbock, Tx slide location) was clean and professional, and the girl (Kaitlin R.) that assisted me was knowledgeable and proficient and took her time to ensure all of my many questions were thoroughly answered! I recently returned to my hometown with glasses purchased elsewhere. My nose pad was worn and torn, and I entered Eyeglass World seeking help. Not only was my damaged nose pad replaced quickly and cheerfully, my glasses were cleaned and de-funkified. They also adjusted them to sit centered on my face. Went in to search for frames so I could purchase glasses only to be told I couldnt see frames because I didnt have prescription with me. It was in car. Is this because the piece of paper would have helped me decide which ones to pick. Oh and the snotty employee acted as if her job is prestigious. Will not come by this place ever again....

I was looking to spend over half a grand on the burden of new eyeglasses, a requirement of my every waking moments, only to be told I would not be able to search their inventory because I did not have a current perscription. The lack of help was, well I dont know what to say. I went a few blocks up the street and experienced the complete opposite from Stanton Optical, where I left with a free eye exam and two new pair of eyeglasses.

I had a really good experience last week. Tiffany was very good and had a lot of patience. She helped my 2 kids and I get new glasses in the same visit. She was very understanding of the process with 2 kids, especially during COVID. Overall all the staff was very professional and they were following COVID precautions.Editing to add that I continue to love the service here. Kathy and Matthew were so nice today (3 months after initial purchase) when went back to get my kids glasses fixed.

I went in to Eyeglass world 11/24/2020 Lubbock to get a pair of glasses! Everything went fine picked out a pair of glasses and paid and the lady told me come back in the 3 hours and get your glasses she went back to make sure they would be ready for me in 3 hours. I said ok no problem. I went back in 3 hours and the different lady said there not ready the coder broke down. I did not receive a call the girl at the front said no the coder is not broken it was fixed then there was a arguement between the lady up front and 2 or 3 people yelling in the store working there that went on for 10 minutes with customers in the store. Finally the lady up front went back to the back to see if the coder was broke. She came back to talk to me after 5 minutes and said the coder is broke and it will be next week till you can pick up yours glasses. At this time was really upset because there was no phone call telling me this I live out in the country between Lubbock and Tahoka and wasted gas going back and them telling me oh the coder is broke it will be next week! I saw a lot of customers picking up there glasses that were in the store when I purchased my glasses and my glasses were a lot of money. This was the first time I had a problem not getting my glasses that I can remember been with the eyeglass world purchasing glasses for years. But anyway I left and I called after Thanksgiving on Friday and called to see if the glasses were ready and the lady said if you come by noon your glasses will be ready! I did and was happy getting by glasses. I gave the store a 4 because when I walked in no problem with the lady who helped me but it was bad services when I returned after 3 hours!

I have used eye glass world in Lubbock for many years. Sarah has helped my children and my self on many occasions for contacts and glasses. She really is my eye-to-go-girl! Last Christmas she helped me pull off a wonderful surprise for one of my children and I’ve ordered over the phone from her several times to have contacts sent to another child. Even though they don’t all live here they all know her! We appreciate her more than she will know. Thank you Sarah!

The act of getting the frames chosen and lenses made was simple and expedient enough. However, the new optometrist- while she is good at her job- kept pressing me with strange new age literature concerning sensitivity to EMF and wifi signal output.Was interesting enough but I was on my lunch break and she spent a little more time on the subject than I was was expecting- seeing as how I did still need to purchase my frames and lenses. Would probably be a 3.5 if I could do half stars. Overall a good experience.

I LOVE this place! Very friendly and helpful. Ive been buying my vision products here for years. This week I had JUST picked up a pair that I had had the lenses changed out to new prescription. The very next day klutzy me sat on them and popped out one of the lenses. The great folks at Eyeglass World fixed them in about five minutes, free of course! Highly recommend.

After an initial bad experience and review I was contacted by Sarah and Dr. Cook about coming back in. I usually just go somewhere else, but they were so nice I took them up on it. Dr. Cook was incredibly professional and thorough and I walked out within 30 minutes of getting there with new contacts. They did everything they could to make it right. Literally one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

EyeGlass World is great place to get your pair of glasses or contacts. I like their variety of glasses. But every time Ive gotten products from them Ive always gotten a bill varying from $15 to $32 AFTER insurance coverage and my out-of-pocket payment. I dont know why that happens but its been an issue. However, theyve been helpful with rectifying this issue :)

I bought these 79.00 pair of glasses BOGO . Which actual cost was 289.00... 3 months later the frames split and they wont cover...

Worst experience I’ve ever had with this place. I went in for my annual exam and it was my first time getting a contact exam done. When the doc walked in, she didn’t even know I was getting a contact exam done because she didn’t read my sheet right. She claimed that my previous corrective lenses were too strong for me and that she got the right Rx for me with the contacts. Went back a few days later for a follow up because I felt the contact were not even correct; I saw no difference so then the doc gave me another brand of contacts to try. Those were also a no-go for me. I called to just have them match my previous Rx and I never got a call back and I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment for that. They make it so inconvenient for patients and I shouldn’t have to go back a third time to get it right. It was a waste of money and I will never return and do not recommend.

Customer service was incredible, but Dr. Cook was even better!! He has my business for life, took his time with my daughter and I during the examination. Thank you Dr. Scott for your attention to detail and making sure you got to know us, and what we needed.

I give 4 stars because the staff is so friendly and helpful most of the time. I recently went in for a eyeglass/contacts exam. I purchased two pair of glasses and got a trial pair of contacts. I was told before I left to just call back, if I decided I liked the trial contacts and wanted to buy more. But today, I made the mistake of calling about the purchasing of the contact lenses. It was more convenient to call first than to drop in. Got carla over the phone she wasnt friendly and obviously wasnt listening to what I was even inquiring about. She didnt even bother to look up my information.

I came in to get some new glasses and left with more than I expected. I was trying to put emphasis that I was looking for style and had some frames in mind, but they took my prescription in mind and made me realize that my high prescription does not work for all frames/sizes. Had I went through with those frames with my prescription, the bottlecap effect wouldve straight up made me look like Steve Urkel. I had excellent customer service from their sales team and they all worked together to choose and give their opinions on the needs I was describing. I worked with Juan, who not only gave me multiple options of frames that worked well with my prescription, but exceeded my expectations by searching through their inventory to find me the perfect frames for my glasses. Event better, he found me another frame that work more well for sunglasses which are as of now my favorite glasses of all time. I rarely give a 5/5 star, but the whole team here really superseded my expectations. I will definitely be returning!

I started having to wear glasses 2 yrs ago, we went to eyeglass world and we had a great experience! Great service, pricess and customer service! Then a year later my husband had to get glasses and again a great experience! Ive gone in a few times to get my glasses adjusted again great experience! Everytime ive gone in ive been helped by Sara and she is just awesome!!!!!!

They have really great frame selection and their service is outstanding. They helped my husband with our out of network insurance problem. Carly, you rock! I didnt catch the other ladies name but she was excellent as well.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses. One was sunglasses that would be ready same day. Went to pick them up and they were ready but they werent sun glasses they asked me to wait and they would add the tint. I told them I would just pick them up in the morning. Well I went to pick up and they told me it would be 15 minutes because they werent ready!!! My time us valuable now Im going to have to make a third trip to pick up. Unacceptable. My husband needs glasses and rest assured we wont be going back to eye glass world.

I walked in to get my glasses readjusted and Sara Smith did an exceptional job. Also Ms. Smith advised me about the great sales going on today and I was able to walk out with some accessories for a good price.

I thought they had great customer service. We took my 5 year old and had an eye exam, and picked her out 2 frames and they were ready in 1 week. They are priced very reasonable as well. We will definitely return

The folks on the glasses side were awesome. Sara Smith and Jaden were awesome to work with. The receptionists and Samera on the optometrist side were awesome. The Dr was not so much. She needs to appreciate her patients and her job more.

Drove from out of town to get some glasses. Waited an hour and a half while other couples were sat down and helped. Waste of my time and money to drive here thinking I would get some glasses today. Not sure why I was looked over and ignored but I’m livid and won’t be back. Will be ordering online from now on!

Friendly staff, but they took forever to help me, and then they told me to fax my prescription to the wrong place so I had to call twice. That wasn’t bad, but nobody ever sat down to actually help me, while the person next to me had constant help for 30-45 minutes. Need more staff.

Everyone was extremely patient and helpful. Especially Megan and Jaymee. They were able to fix my fiance glasses with no issues and I was able to get two pair of designer glasses with the BOGO! I will definitely be returning in the future.

At first thing were going pretty good. I found my glasses and they told me they would be ready in about 21/2 hours. Came back to pick them up and only one pair was ready. Then I pointed out that the pair that was ready still had residue on them from the price sticker. The lady cleaned them and said it was gone. I came back the next day to pick up my other pair of glasses and they still were not ready! So I pointed out once again that the glasses I did have still had sticky stuff on them from the price sticker. She took the glasses and cleaned them AGAIN and the manager said they would have to order a new set of frames cause the finish came off the frame where the sticker was. So the next they call me and say my frames had came in. WOW that was fast awesome right? NO I send my husband to pick up the new frames and he comes back with a pair of dirty scratched dull frames.. The frames look like they have been worn by someone for years! I go back up there and ask about the frames and the lady said they must have gotten that dirty from her putting in the lenses.. UMM NO! Then she cleaned them AGAIN!! I finally was like cleaning them is not going to fix them!! The manager came out and said what do you want me to do about them they are made like that. I dont think they made glassed to look dirty and scratched. Then said all he could do was order me another pair again. Im not gonna waste anymore time with this place! I WANT A REFUND!!

I ordered sunglasses from here and two of the employees said that they can do the color I liked and they came in a week later and the lenses were just black, not what I paid $200 for, we called them and they said that they cant do that color even though as I was buying them they confirmed they could do that color. Why would they even display a pair of sunglasses with a lenses color they cant even do? False advertising.
