Went in looking for a percussion instrument found exactly what we needed staff was really friendly and helpful

My mom went and got my daughter a flute because she needed a new one and I had to work. First they wouldnt let me make a payment over the phone. They wouldnt let me give verbal consent to setup the monthly recurring payment under my bank because I wasnt there to sign. My mother was told I could go in and change to my bank account at a later time now there saying I cant.The following month I called earlier then the due date to make a payment with my debit card and they took my payment. But then on the actual due date took another payment out. Then on my contract it says its due on a certain date and on there end it says something completely different. Now Im being told I cant change it to my bank account without going through corporate. Its just been one thing after another. I will never purchase anything from them again. I am not happy with the service provided or that one employee told us we could do one thing and another is saying something totally different. Will never recommend or refer anyone to do business with them.

This is one of my favorite music stores ever. The employees are kind, and if they dont know an answer, they are quick to ask someone else who will. They dont mind letting you try our the instruments.

Amazing service here we went to guitar center and no one helped us so we came here and we got excellent service we were able to get a piano and the man who helped us explained what piano is better and got helped us get a new piano stand and a bench and some headphones explaining which one is better

Purchased a Yamaha CLP 635 digital piano from Tarpley in December. The helpfulness and service I received at the time of purchase from Jovan was outstanding.Today I had a question about the keyboard and Richard was very helpful to me in providing assistance.Would highly recommend Tarpley!

The best place to get music instruments. They took our order by phone and everything was ready to pick up when we visited the store. The staff were courteous and really helpful.

Decent selection of instruments. Fairly high-end concert band instruments, and guitars. Very knowledgeable staff. Bought sheet music for my cornet.

Great service. They have everything a professional musician needs. Larger selections of obscure pedals, strings ect. They have everything plus some more than Guitar center in regards to guitars. Pro audio is limited.

I took my “sick” Taylor 510 into Tarpley’s while visiting from out of town on Christmas Eve. It had a nasty buzz in the low E string and sounded like it had a sore throat. I thought it might need a full set up. After about 20 minutes, Dylan examined the instrument, popped the string pins and found that a misplaced string was causing a vibration. He cleaned it up and put new strings on it and it sounds as good as new. And while I waited I strummed on a brand new Martin HD28 Ambertone. This is a great shop. Thank you, Dylan! And Merry Christmas.

Its just a normal music store. Nothing really impressive or eye catching other than the supposedly indestructable kazoos they sell.

Prices are sky high.

They ordered me the classical guitar I wanted, which arrived very quickly. Terry is very professional and has over 30 years of experince with guitars. Weekdays or weekends do not matter. You will get exactly what you need.

They did not fix my inability to play the violin 🤔 but they were very nice and helpful 😎
