Adam and his team are top notch. They was able to come on fairly short notice to get the work done while we had our yard under construction. His installation team was able to work with us on placement. They also made sure not to damage any of the irrigation or grading work we had done. The unit has only been working for a short time, but so far it has been a huge improvement in our water. We can already tell/feel the difference. The Axis team is very knowledgeable of the water supply issues in North Texas. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to our neighbors or use them again if we move.

We have had a softener from Axis for two years now. It works, so that is a point in its favor. When my husband and I were searching for a water softener, we narrowed it down to two companies that fit our needs. Ultimately, we wish we had chosen the other company.Firstly, we chose Axis mainly because Mike is a good sales guy. He did all the right things and answered the questions - even went so far as to call us back later after he educated himself to be able to answer a question he originally didnt know the answer to. All good things.But then install was delayed because they thought they had the model we purchased, and it turned out they didnt. Then when they got the model in, it wasnt marked properly, so someone else received it.When installation day finally came, Mike and another gentleman were the two to do the job. (How many hats does Mike wear?) They forgot some pieces and had to take several trips to the store and MacGyver things.They took shortcuts like leaving the hosebibs connected to the water softener. Now, every time we water our plants, or our kid wants to play in the sprinkler, or we give our dog a bath, we have to turn the softener on bypass and then remember to turn off bypass when were done. That doesnt sound too bad until you have to do it for a while. They also used an outlet in our master bedroom for the softener rather than tying into a panel.The metal box that covers the softener is constantly skewed because they didnt pack the dirt evenly when finishing up. We have added more and more dirt under that corner, but no matter what we do it is still skewed.And lastly, if you think all the problems had to do with installation, let me give another example of their service. Included in our purchase price were the 4 bags of salt that they forgot to bring with them on installation day. They said they would bring it to us before the week was done. After a month, we contacted them to ask where they were, and they apologized and promised to send it as soon as possible. Over two years later, and they never arrived.TL;DR: we wish we had chosen a different company because Axis took shortcuts, delayed, and made promises they didnt keep.

We just purchased an AXIS Water softening/ treatment system . Mike was our sales/service/educator rep. The experience thus far has been excellent. Mike is very knowledgeable in water treatment and has has experience in various water treatment applications. After considerable research and checking into what is available in Lubbock, we decided that Ecowater had the right equipment for our needs and the best value for the money. (FYI-if you pay for this system through your Costco membership, you get a gift card, the value of which is based on a percentage of the cost of your system.) The installation went great- Ecowater installers Tommy and Joe were hardworking (they had to dig trenches for the pipes), competent, and very pleasant to deal with. They picked up and cleaned up when they were finished. They answered all our questions with patience and completely. Great guys! Jeremy, the company rep, was quick to return phone calls and answer questions- again, with patience and complete explanations. In August of 2016, my husband and I started searching for a water softener and an R/O (Reverse Osmosis) system. Ecowater was, by far, the most cost effective for us. We were given several payment options and finally decided to purchase a system. The staff was very professional, polite, and very helpful. Services were completed when promised, and Jeremy, the Residential Services Manager, and his team made sure that we understood how the equipment worked before they left. With our new investment, we are saving money because we use far less detergent with the soft water, and, with the R/O system, we always have filtered water, which is also connected to the refrigerator (filtered water and ice too). Terrible experience. A technician, arrived at my house to change my inline water filter on my well system. He had no idea what to do and had to call his supervisor for instructions. Long story made short. He closed an inline valve but didnt turn of power to the pump. When he was finished the well pump had failed $ 1600.00 for a new well pump. I wrote a letter to the owner, and he did not take it well at all. This began a three month period of what I considered to be harassing phone calls and letters from the owner, only stopped by me threatening to file a police report unless his staff stopped calling me. Wanted to come to my house and talk about the problem? I dont think so. No witnesses, does he have a bad temper? does he carry a weapon? This guy is weird . If you do business with him, and youre not happy with the results, dont tell him about it. He will get payback.
