Tools are very high quality compared to Tandy Leather, sales high quality leather, has stamps that are made in the USA that give a way better and more crisp impressions on the leather vs the cheap Tandy “craft tools” and the blue collared gentleman has definitely earned my respect.

Decent enough store. Location isnt the best and the store definitely feels stuck in the past, but I guess some people are into that. Ive been a few times and only ever seen the same two people working there, neither of them are particularly polite and I witnessed them treat people of color that I had with me with a extremely condescending attitude. I would like to give this store a higher rating because leatherwork is a fun, if niche, hobby to get into, the pricing is fair and the quality of product is good. However, in spite of its local ownership, I absolutely I cant condone how it is run and how minorities are treated there. Customer service lessons are severely needed to gain more stars.

Best place in town to get anything you need for leather work. Best quality, friendly service and great prices. You wont find the quality at any of the other stores in town I can guarantee that. Been buying from S&D for years now and wouldnt consider buying from anywhere else. They have even started carrying tack. The staff are very knowledgeable and can actually answer any questions you have.

The guy has AWFUL customer service & is extremely rude every time I go in.. would give it no stars but it looks like I have to give it 1 just for being here. Extremely overpriced & terrible customer service. 10/10 worst place to go in Lubbock.. he makes the drive to Amarillo to go to Panhandle Leather WAY worth it.
