This place is HORRIBLE, granted they will do what they can to get you into a home but afterwards it’s all downhill, our plumbing was done incorrectly and when I called to complain I was told they paid $400 for someone to do it (not a licensed plumber) and this was a “convenience” that they did not have to offer/do, then the breaker box didn’t have a connection for the ac unit, now the water heater is defective!! That’s not to mention the loose walls, falling down trimming, or anything else they consider “small” This place is a joke, the customer service part is mediocre and I have never regretted anything more than going with Clayton for my “New” home! Save yourself the trouble and go with someone who cares and keeps their promises, this should have been one of the happiest experiences of our lives and so far it’s been a nightmare!

Bought afrom this place in 1995 i was lied to the whole time i was in there. I would never walk into this place again,the day they set it up the roof leaked, i had to put another roof of on. So i would never buy nothing from them again i promise you that!!!

Got a very good quality house from these guys. 5 bedroom 3 bath. One if the economy models, but perfect for our family. They did exactly what they told me they would do and the process wasnt to brutal. Only minor complaint i have is the flooring material is not very durable. Put a couple of holes in it just moving in. I recommend putting in tile asap. Otherwise very pleased.

We decided, hey lets go see what a mobile home is all about. So we get there and were immediately greeted by a gentleman, who was eager to help. We called before to see if it was okay to stop by. He told us were here until 6 but I do have to leave at 5. However, we will make sure that no matter what you are taken care of & he did in fact do so. He understood we were just looking and were not interested in actually purchasing that day. The entire team made us feel like we were part of the clayton home family. I highly recommend to purchase from this place! You will be taken care of. The homes are gorgeous and you can make them to perfection. I highly recommend that if you are in the market for a really awesome mobile home to purchase from here. The guy who helped us and his best friend were seriously the coolest people I had met. There boss was hilarious and also so helpful!!

Dont buy a house from Clayton. We have been in our house for a little over a year now. They will ignore you for service calls. I have had non stop problems. 5 windows have leaked since day one, the floor is dowed up, 3 bath tubs have cracked around the drains, etc. If you expect to live in a dry house when it rains, dont buy a manufactured home (from Clayton)

The windows and doors have leaked since day one and still arent fixed. The trim and flooring around the door and windows are destroyed. I have missing trim, mismatched paint, cracking walls, torn tile, bad outside paint job, and loose shingles. This is whats been going on since we moved in. Not to mention how trashed the people left the place when they were done for us to move in and the paint on my furniture from repairs. No one will get anything done! If you decide you have to go thru them, then make sure you have a lawyer on hand!

Clayton homes off of north university and the loop has great houses and wonderful customer service if your going to buy a house I would recommend them I love my new double wide.

ME AND MY FIANCE WERE IN THE SEARCH OF A NEW HOME. WE LLOKED AT A COUPLE OF THEIR MODELS AT THE LUBBOCK LOCATION AND LFOUND THE PERFECT ONE AFTER TALKING TO THE SLAES PERSON (TERRY) HE ASSURE US THAT HE COULD GIVE US THE BEST PRICE. WHEN WE MADE OUR CHOICE WE CALLED AND HE ACTED LIKE HE DIDNT KNOW WHO WE WERE. AND SAID THAT HE DIDNT KNOW WHO WE WERE ASKED TO TALK TO MANAGER AND REFUSED.. THEY ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.. A MONTH LATER I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR THE MANAGER AND STILL NO CALL BACK.. DONT EVER BUY A HOME FROM THIS PEOPLE DONT EVEN STOP BY THE LOCATION.

I bought 3 mobile homes here all of them leak when it rains,, they say o well fix it, they dont, there like a used car dealership, dont buy here

Worst experience!! walked in waited for someone to attend us for 30 (lubbock location) minutes, when someone finally helped us he said that he needed to go to lunch and we needed to come back in the afternoon... if you are looking for customer service do not visit this place. RUDE!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!

We bought our house from there an at the time it was a good place to get a house and I am sure its still a good place to shop for a home

Nothing but hassles and delays from these guys. Changed pricing 4 different times. Got closing docs to find out there was another 10,000.00 increase in cost. Now 6 months after the sale is closed they ask again saying it reflects actual cost of construction. They said there was no mark up in construction cost and well was drilled 70 feet less than estimate. The new sales agreement they want me to sign os for 7,000.00 less than sales price. Corporate has mot responded to messages. They broke several signed agreements just full of excuses and lies. We talked about ac guys and salesman says they changed owners 3-4 months ago. Owner came to install hes owned it several years. There was no coordination in setup. Guys framed for skirting 2 days before plumbing and electric so they had to hand trench undee it. Would call at 10am to let me know they were on the way over and need let in with no prior notice. For fua home inspector they took the single hand rail off front of home and added to back then moved both to front and let inspector take photos. Once photos complete moved one handrail to each set of steps promising inspector toget the others here and they still have not followed through. iTotal bs from these guys. Good thing i can do repairs myself. Still have not gotten rails for stairs. Just stay away
