Natalie Curtis is AMAZING! She did a phenomenal job blending my grays with gorgeous highlights. Absolutely coming back to see her! So, I have incredibly long hair all the way to ny bum and was hoping my stylist wouldnt be like oh great this is gonna take all day. However, Natalie made the time fly by with great conversation. It was such a fun experience. She made me feel like princess yall. Truly if you wanna fantastically terrific experience having your hair done you should most definitely see Natalie at Ulta in Lufkin! Extremely well worth the money. Cant wait to go back!! Thank you so very much, Natalie!!!

They make you feel like a suspect. All of them hovering around the door its annoying! I will stick to online shopping Ulta or wait until they move into Target.

Lindsey is AMAZING. It had been 3 years since i had my hair professionally done, and my experience with her was the BEST. She read my mind when it came to color and cut! Highly recommend! Lindsey is great and warm and made me feel very comfortable!

The women working so sweet and helpful. When I couldnt find what I needed, they dug through everything to make sure they didnt have it, and then ordered it online to ship to me without costing me shipping.

Me and two more ladies went into browse around the service there was good the price is a little too high for me but its a good place to go if youre looking for a good perfume cologne or makeup

I’m trying to figure out how 3 inches equal a foot. I showed the lady at the salon what I wanted and she completely messed it up. It is so short. I hate it. I can’t even put it into a ponytail. It’s choppy and uneven and horrible. I’m embarrassed to go out with it.

I had a great experience. Floor staff was helpful, not pushy. The manager honored a sale that didn’t ring up. I also love the selection of black-owned products. Overall very pleased.

What has happened to customer service????My wife ordered her normal shampoo that was not in stock in the store, where she was told by the employees, she would have it in 2 days... A week later the product says shipped, but the tracking says its not even been picked up by UPS... We called customer service and was told they cannot do anything until its been 10 days!!!! Seriously!!! 10 days just to have them refund it or reship it... No thank you... We then asked to be transferred to a manager and magically got disconnected... Horrible experience!!! We will stop using ULTA and go elsewhere for my wife and childrens hair and make-up products.

Lindsey did a perfect job on my highlights and haircut. She did exactly what I wanted. All the salon staff seem very knowledgeable and friendly.

Lindsey did my cut and color and not only did I love it, everyone in the store loved it and complimented it *knocks on wood*. Lindsey is so funny and warm and genuine and KNOWS her stuff. She did a balayage on my hair and my hair falls below my waist so it’s a lot to work with but she blended so perfectly and the color is perfect to go along with my olive skin tone. She educated me throughout the process and made sure I was comfortable the entire time as it usually takes a few hours to complete with long hair & a conditioning treatment. Def go with Lindsey in your color/cut needs, she listens to exactly what you want.

Felt as though they where following me as if i was gonna take something. So much so it made me feel uncomfortable enough to leave. And had non of my free gifts with purchase. Very frustrated.

I have had nothing but great shopping experiences in the Lufkin TX Ulta.These girls have given me great advice on products and techniques in my Changing makeup needs for aging skin. Because of them I feel pretty again after several years of struggling with figuring out how to adjust my beauty routine. All I can say is Thank you Thank you Thank you

What’s the point in having curbside pickup if you don’t bring it out!!! Waited 15 minutes finally just went inside. As soon as I walked in I seen 3 associates not doing anything.... don’t offer it if you’re not going to honor it!

The staff has always been friendly and helpful on my visits.Shout-out to Kiki at the Benefit Brow Bar, though. She did the best job on my brows- ever. Ive been to Benefit locations around the county and had great experiences (which is why I go back) but this was by far the best.

I have never seen my wife so unhappy, tears unhappy with a hairstyle. She is normally the happiest, easy going person I know. We have been going to Ulta for her and my daughter hair needs for years and now that has come to an end. It seems like the stylist ignored what my wife showed her and asked her for. There is no going back to fix this, because they took so much off her head. Im not spending that type of money for my wife to be unhappy.

After reading the reviews about the employees I doubt Ill be going to Ultra. I had hoped for better results on the reviews. It would seem like the management would train their employees to know what theyre trying to sell not to mention the employees should always have a good attitude towards the customers

Always have a good time at Ulta! Very convenient that you can get drugstore and nicer brands in the same place, and Im super excited that theyve started carrying NARS and Morphe! Now if we can just get Make Up Forever in there, itd be perfect. Also, their Korean skincare section is great!

Pricey for the area. Ulta sends out discount coupons but it never includes the salon. You can find bargains. Its better than shopping at the mall or walmart. Maybe deserves a 4☆ rating.

Ken is amazing at what he does! He has been doing my hair since I was sixteen and Ive followed him all over lufkin! The other hair dressers are very friendly as well!

I spent over an hour picking out good shades of concealer, foundation, shadow, and blush today at about 2pm at the Lufkin, TX store. My total at the counter should have been $89 and some change. There was a $20 makeup kit that was free with a purchase over a certain amount that the floor sales associate gave me to put in my bag. But the cashier rang up this free gift 2 times and was determined to charge me $109 for the purchase. I told her I could see that she charged me twice on the screen, and I added up the total while speaking aloud to her as I went over the items listed. She continued to say that she couldnt see the item twice on her screen. I continued to explain to her that I could clearly see it on the screen facing me and that I know how to add. All she had to do was add. I had no choice but to walk out without making the purchase because she would not correct her error.

Friendly service. Almost always have everything I need and want in stock. Knowledge product help as well.

Lori has been doing my hair for a little over a year now, and she is the BEST. Absolutely will not go anywhere else. She took a mess that someone else had caused and has spent lots and lots of time fixing it and getting my hair healthy again.10/10 reccomend.

My wife and I stopped by this location just to get a few items for her. We spend 30 minutes looking for one item with nothing to even approach us to see if we needed any help. Finally we have up looking and decided to check out. Gabriella the clerk was told us the total, which was a bit high for three items but we didnt think much of it. On our way back home to Louisiana, my wife so happened to check the receipt and notice a salon tip of $4. Immediately we called to get answers and they had us on hold for over 8 minutes just to basically tell us we can get a refund. Ask for store credit & they gave me a number with an expiration date. who tf does that? Super annoyed with this location. Never go there!!!

I am familiar with this store they sale high end products and normal drugstore products. So the price wasnt a surprise to me. The issue is you can tell that some of the employees have an attitude problem. I do realize people have bad days, and maybe they had a few rude customers...I have worked in retail before, and I know just how rude people can be but you have to get over it. I felt awkward, uncomfortable, and just wanted to leave because how rude everyone was being in that store. No one approached me, and asked if I needed help. Then I go to checkout, and one of the cashiers was rude to everyone in line because we didnt have the line how she wanted it. Which I know can be frustrating having to tell people all day where the line should be, but the way she acted and what she said was just rude. When it was my turn to checkout she didnt say a word to me. I did find everything I needed though so that was the plus side.

The new store is nice, but the people who work there are not helpful at all! One lady was with another customer but she acknowledged us. I then had other ladys that work there pass by without any word to us, when I finally asked a lady for help she said just a minute then went back to stocking the shelf. I stood there for about 3 minutes while her back was to me, then just left.

Staff is too busy conversating amoungst themselves to answer questions from patrons. I am from out of town, and two of the staff members could not be bothered to help myself and friend look for specific items. A quick search on my cell phone was able to find a picture for me to show them--pictures are easier for catty women.

Products are always wonderful, store is kept tidy. The main issue with this store is the complete lack in customer service. Floor staff and check out counter staff act snooty and bothered by customers they checkout. This has been their issue from day one of opening the store.

Today Im giving 5 stars because for the first time they were friendly and not judgmental...The girl help find what I need it and talk me through the sales and new products use....

Way friendlier than Sallys. They carry my favorite brand of hair dye (jerome russell punky color) and were helpful the moment I walked in. My first visit I was nervous theyd he snooty like Sallys and ignore me, but they asked if I needed help, showed me exactly where what I needed was and let me browse without being overbearing. They will be getting my business from now on when I color my hair.

If you enjoy feeling like an imposition and inconvenience then this is the right place for you to shop. I have come to the conclusion that rudeness must be a characteristic that has been seeked upon hiring. Due to the lack of employee and management professionalism I will no longer be a customer.

New manager is draining life from this place. Ive seriously heard it all and shes been there only a few weeks.

Selection is great, constantly asked if I needed any help, and they knew the answers to ally questions.

I just wandered about looking for beard treatments. No one said anything when I walked in and no one asked if I needed help finding anything. Horrible experience for what is supposed to be an upscale store. I got more help at Walmart and thats saying something!

Mind you, I went soon after opening hours and while the store was obviously understaffed, there was also a great lack of knowledge from the staff that was actively working the floor... which was only one employee. I watched other workers completely ignore customers or engage briefly and quickly leave the area to stand and talk to each other. Thats unacceptable in a store like this. What was also concerning were the untidy samples, shopping bags covered in product, and lack of cleaning tools at endcaps, as well as the shunning of some customers in order to follow other customers who I assume the employees believed would purchase more who in fact did not. As a former manager of a different beauty retailer, I was appalled by things I managed to observe in all of 20 minutes or so. I hope once they employ more staff that the store comes together, until then I dont plan on returning.

Im not usually one to use or buy make up, but Ulta staff has been amazing in helping me figure out what I need and how to use it. There is always a happy face ready to help no matter what day or time I show up.

Great products. Staff is not helpful. Majority of them seem inexperienced, and are lacking in product knowledge. I will say that the girl who works the brow bar is a licensed esthetician and she did a great job for me. I feel like she is an exception to an otherwise less than noteworthy staff. My biggest concern with the store is how unsanitary the testing samples are kept. For that reason Im giving the store a one star rating.
