So I was at the shop purchasing two new helmets for my wife and I and when I was leaving there was a bike I wanted to sit on. It had a sign saying to ask before touching or sitting in the bike so I asked the women on the phone in front if it was ok. She said “yes” but as soon as I got on the bike some other guy who worked there told me to get off the bike and that it was too expensive for me to be sitting on. I felt that was extremely rude. I have enough money to buy 3 of those bikes. Wouldn’t go back there ever again.

I wont lie, I bought some Jetskis and soon after realized I knew nothing about them.I wanted to buy from somewhere that didnt ignore me after the sale was finished. Aaron and the team in the service department went above and beyond to get me ready for the season. Customer service at CMPS is absolutely outstanding. Purchased a used sled from them having only seen pictures online. Found issues with the track upon arrival. They agreed to split the cost of a new track and deliver to my home in Maine a week later. Also came across some missing skid hardware, unsure if these parts came loose or not after my first few rides. Called them to Tuesday, they sent an employee up to Maine Tuesday afternoon to pick up the sled, brought it back to Mass, ordered and installed the missing parts, and delivered it back to my house Saturday morning, all at no cost to me! Its obvious theyre willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy and I wouldnt hesitate to do business with them again.

If you are looking for a place to buy your first motorcycle and get it serviced then this is not the place for you! These people will keep telling you that they will give you a call back to inform you about your motorcycle. That never happens. It took me almost a month to get my motorcycle picked up. It will probably take them a lot longer to get my bike fixed. This place does not make it easy. You will waste your time trying to get in touch with them.DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE PEOPLE! There are other places that will take care of you because they care about their customers.
Called them to schedule to drop off my bike for repair, they kept me on hold for 10 minutes. Called them back to make sure whats happening, but the person couldnt help me at all!!!

Everyone in the parts department is great! I deal with them on a regular basis and no matter who I deal with they are always helpful. Parts arrive in a timely fashion and I am always notified as soon as my parts arrive.
Central Mass PS has serviced my son’s 2003 Suzuki LT160 Quad Runner a couple of times, each time the guys have been professional and courteous. Last time I had it in the shop, since my son was out riding and the ATV suddenly died on him, they discovered the central wiring harness had actually caught fire... luckily no damage to the machine, plastics, or my son! But instead of calling me and asking for authorization to purchase an expensive factory wiring harness plus labor, they took a chance and allowed a tech to rebuild the harness in house... it was a successful rebuild and saved me a bunch of money! They have also done regular service and new front brakes, cables, and pads etc., all done with quality work. My kid runs the ATV pretty hard and the work holds up. Thanks!!! Will be back.
Gary and the sales team were AMAZING during this COVID crisis and got my boyfriend into a brand new KX450 in a day. Before we worked together with possibly getting a used 150R but when it didn’t even start Gary had tried to get us into another ATV at a great deal. These people are hard working, and motivated sales men and women. I totally recommend this place to anyone (yes even to NH people). We even got new pants thrown into the deal, stickers, and a registration all in one day. Thanks for all the hard work guys!

This place is the absolute worst! People from the service department keep telling me that they will call me and give me an update on the status of my motorcycle. That never happens. Please do not consider doing business with these people. I’ve had so much trouble trying to get my motorcycle picked up, and I’m about to go through this again because they need to fix it.Do not do business with these people. They do not deserve to have customers because they treat them like $hi*!
Matt in parts is excellent at helping anytime I call for parts or gear. Also, will be going through Scott in sales for my next sled he knows his stuff and is a real nice guy. I would give this dealer more stars if I could!

I went to central mass powersports to have a Polaris razor tire fixed it was slowly losing air. When I got it back I was told it was leaking around the rim and was charged $40 to fix. I think that is absolutely highway robbery. Don’t go there for service unless you don’t mind getting ripped off.“Update-I checked air pressure when I got it back and it was 11 psi I checked it 15 hours later and it’s 9.5 psiIt’s losing air as fast as it was before I brought it there! Nice job!!
I’m extremely thankful to have this store to visit so close to my house. Sometimes they have what I need in stock and sometimes they have to make an order but it’s completely worth it to have a place to go to try on and fit gear, talk to the staff about parts, upgrade options and service. The whole staff is super friendly. I’ll use them over the internet nine times out of ten.
Service department went above and beyond to complete the rebuild of my front forks for my 2002 Honda Valkyrie. My Valkyrie has just over 78,800 miles and has been meticulously maintained. As a former Certified Rolls-Royce and Porsche technician I normally do all my own work but did not have the tools needed to properly complete the rebuild. After researching online I searched out Central Mass Power Sports. Pictures of their shop helped convince me to drive the 50 miles each way to drop off the forks. Todd in service did a great job of assuring me my excellent condition forks would get the white glove treament. True to his word and a short turn around time I got my forks back looking as good as when I dropped them off (and not leaking!). Woke up at 5:00am this morning, put the forks back on my Valkyrie, took the wife for a 250 mile test ride to New Hampshire and back. Perfect! Who ever the technician is GREAT job on the rebuild. Master of your craft.You can bet next time I need anything for my Valkyrie it will be with Central Mass Power Sports. Thank you for a job well done.

Got my cbr650f from central mass Alan in sales was friendly and very helpful. The bike was shipped from their sister store so I can see it in person arrived faster than expected .service went through the bike and replaced anything needed even touched up some paint for me. Thoroughly satisfied and would recommend them to purchase your next bike.

This is the third time in several years I have checked with them to see if they have a part in stock, drove 30 plus miles then to be told they do not have it in stock. This was a simple item in this case a battery for a fairly new Honda motorcycle. The same has happened with special ordered parts. Not impressed. This time they said their inventory management system showed two in stock, but that they were having some problems with their inventory. Also the price for the same items was $191 versus $130 on Amazon. That is too much of a price spread for something they dont have. Unfortunately my two closest Honda dealers are a real disappointment. Still love the brand but the dealer support does not reflect their quality of the product.Follow up. Shortly after this review was posted I received a call from the manager at the store, Gary. He checked on my battery purchased and said it was still under warranty. Within a week I had a new battery. Not sure if the review had anything to do with it, but certainly better service than I have ever experienced there, and really appreciated. Saved me the cost of yet another new battery. Thanks. Have upgraded the rating to 3 stars for dealing with a customer problem.

From NY and visited Boston. Bike broke down. Every place I called on a Saturday on laborday weekend either did not have a mechanic available or not able to check it out on short notice but central mass was able to send a truck an hour away to pick up my bike to see what was going on. They picked up the bike pretty fast. They did a great job helping me while I was stranded. Marco was great with helping me out, very easy to talk to.
Salesman Alan was great but the service department not so much. I bought a motorcycle and was ensured it would be fully serviced and looked over yet upon delivery the coolant was nearly empty and the brake fluid low. This is my very first motorcycle and it was stated to them. These are dangerous machines as it is and if they overlooked that- what else was overlooked.
This purchase was the first dirt bike I have bought for my son. From Alan, who sold us the bike, to the finance department, to the guys in parts/accessories, everyone was so patient and willing to share their expertise. Alan delivered the bike and taught my son to ride it and has followed up to make sure all was going well. I could not recommend Central Mass Powersports more highly!

I had an excellent purchasing experience for a 2018 Honda Gold Wing from CMPS. The salesman Al was direct, honest and fair in our discussion of pricing options. He was willing to deal and put together an offer that worked for me. I didnt get the same level of attention from three other Honda dealerships that I shopped. He kept me informed in a timely fashion on the status of accessories that were on back-order. The accessories arrived on scheduled, were installed and the bike was ready for pick-up on the date promised. On pick-up day, Al thoroughly went over all of the bike features with me. I left as a very satisfied customer.

Nice selection of bikes, snowmobiles and atvs. Friendly staff but a couple of them can be a little pushy, and lead you to the higher priced items. One sale person seamed to not to care to go out of his way at all.

Just reviewing their service department. The attendant that booked my appointment seemed to had been abusing his prescription for medical marijuana big time. Zero communications skills. Then I got charged more than $180 for an oil and filter change..... 1.5 hours of labor?? Total rip off. Find a different place for service unless you just want to throw money at them....
Stay away from this place. 100 dollars to mount two tires to two wheels I carried in. he told me it was 80 when I dropped them off. it was 25 bucks a tire the last time i carried them in. UPDATE: just rode the bike and they didnt balance the tire correctly. I now have a little shimmy.
The people here are great, but the prices for services are a little steep, especially for tire mounting and oil changes (like any dealership)

Dishonest company with outrageous fees- package dealer fee and admin fee worth 700$ fee on a 2017 Yamaha bike. Went to cycle designs in Philipston MA and best decision ever- honest company, smooth transition and everything was easy to do with them. Saved 700$ and they have a small fee of 92$ beats the 700$ from central mass. Another great thing is that cycle designs do plates!!!!! Including title and registration!

Waiting outside on the phone for over 22 minutes, I never had a hold of any body in the parts department, update July 2021, brought my bike for repair, not able to do it, due to major damage to the engine, probably to expensive and the bike isnt worth it, no charge for bringing the bike back to my house, thanks anyway.
Salesman was a little creepy. Told my fiancee to move her bum bum over on the seat of the bike when she sat on it. Then tried to sell us a wedding cake. We laughed latter how strange it was..Picked my bike up from oil change and oil was on my case and oilly finger prints on my frame.. i guess they couldnt be bothered to wipe it down for a 118$ charge.May only go back if no other choice.
I had my valves adjusted on my 2007 Honda Rancher 420 there and my buddy had his 2k16 Rancher 420 there for oil changes also. They do good work and are very reliable.
STAY AWAY!!! If youre looking to hear all the sales lines there are, then stop on by. Terrible to deal with, they try to squeeze every dollar out of a loyal customer. Buy your bike, or get your parts elsewhere. Never, ever again. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. Im telling EVERYONE I know to go elsewhere.

I was looking around at motorcycles and visited Central Mass Power Sports and Scott Fraser. Scott listened and answered all my questions. I found him extremely helpful. I visited other stores but returned to CMPS to purchase a motorcycle from Scott.
Well I purchased a bike from these guys and it was a very reasonable price. They also have good prices for after market stuff but the service department is very bad. They dont have any engine diagrams for any bike. I brought my bike in because it was making a wineing sound. (I had installed an oem style oil pump but mistakenly I put the gear facing up and it still pumped oil but just make a sound) I fingered they would know exactly what the inside engine looks like so they probably would fined out what i did wrong. (Note i dident know I had installed the gear upsidedown at the time i dropped it off.) After three days of w8ing, i called them and asked if they started to work on my bike. They said they had not. Needless to say i was annoyed. I also was doing some research on my own about the sound my bike was making and i fingered out what I did wrong. So i called The Professionals and told them what was wrong with my bike. Long story short they installed a new oil pump that i had to supply them with but they forgot to install one of the pins that holds the pump in place. I had to w8 anther day for them to fix there mistake AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE!! Throw ought the hole thing the manager of the service department treated me like i was a total idiot and was extremely rude the hole time. I foget his name but he dose not know how to treat a paying customer. That was what made me stop going there. Anther time I had them rebilled my for wheeler carb and I also wonted them to take off the gas tank and drain the gas because I saw acorns and stuff in the tank. I got it back and released that they never took off the tank and drained it because there was still acorns in it evan though they charged me for it. So I had to drive back to them agen so they could fix there mistake. Dont ever have your machines worked on hear. Evan when I bought the bike they had a mix up and sent the title to the bank although it should have been given to me because it was a personal loan and in cash. Paper work stuff can be difficult on both ends though so I dont mined that part rely. The after market stuff and bikes are priced fairly but just be careful with the paper work stuff and ABOVE ALL DONT let them near your bikes to work on them.
Although nobody wants to run into repairs, however Power Sports service made the process as painless as possible; courteous, knowledgeable and reasonable.

We were looking for a new Ski-Doo snowmobile and met at the Grass Drags. Scott spent time with us going over choices and his knowledge was impressive. After having bad experiences at other dealers we contacted Scott to buy a 2018 Blizzard. We got a great price, awesome service and left very satisfied with our new sled in tow. There was some debate if a feature that was not on the sled was standard or not. A few days after we left, Scott called and said they were sending a tech, Dave, to our house (over 2 hours away) to add the feature (temp gauge). Dave came and worked on the sled right on the trailer to add the gauge. We thought customer service has disappeared but we could not have been more impressed or satisfied with the service from this dealership, Scott, Gary and Dave. Thank you and we will be back!
PROFESSIONAL. Truly a great experience start to finish. I was lucky enough to deal with Dave and Jennifer on my recent purchase of a snowmobile. All the staff is friendly and did everything to make my purcahse easy and smooth. Dave honestly provided me with the most respect and professionalism I have ever experienced in a buying environment. I WILL be back for future purchases without a doubt. To the complainers below: they are running a real local business, with rent, heat, and overhead costs. To compare their prices to giants like wal-mart and amazon is laughable at best. Support small business because when you need the they will be there.
