I have noticed something about this company. When a disagreement or misunderstanding happens between customers and the sales people,a kind of indifference follows. The people that work here can use better people skills. Just the few times I have been here, I have noticed several customers going away bitter. Sometimes with the same refrain. Seems the company uses any reason at all to benifit from a Misunderstanding. The people in the front office dont seem to mind sending away people feeling sore about their transaction. This Z company seems to be a multi million dollar company. Would it really hurt their bottom line if they maybee gave a little more consideration to the little people. Their is one person in the front office in particular that I would have retrained or fired.He is just a hater. Its Not Kevin. I used to like this place. Not now.

Friendly and helpful staff, and they have lots and lots of cool stuff. They sell not only recycled metal, but also new material and also buy scrap metal and dead cars. You never know what you will find wandering around in the yard!

Everyone there is helpful and happy to see you even on a first visit.

We received excellent customer service, especially from the gentlemen who took our copper and brass. They were very patient and explained to us how to separate the metals. Thank you for exceptional customer service!

This place is amazing! Not only do they have great stuff, but the guys that work there are super helpful and solution oriented. I am so appreciative of their help. They even referred me when they didn’t have the tire I needed. Highly recommend going to Z’s!!!

The guys in the yard are so rude and impatient. First time there and I didnt know how their system works or where to drive to to unload and they sure didnt want to take the time to show me and were quiet angry to be inconvenienced to do their job. Very disappointed. Will be checking out other options in the future

Worst BBQ Ive ever had. But they paid well for my scrap copper and circuit boards so they got that going for them at least. But seriously best recycling center in Skagit Whatcom or Snohomish counties. They beat Skagit river steel, parberrys, and scrap it by a ton and are gentle when unloading scrap cars from my trailer unlike scrap it a$$holes.

Great staff. Great service. They will help you through it the first time if you have not scrapped before. If you have a lot of tin, the guy on the excavator will even hook up a huge magnet and lift it off your trailer for you. They pay you cash right on the spot for tin, copper, mixed copper and aluminum (and probably lots of other stuff) and get you in and out very efficiently.

Awesome people, always fast to help. Makes it easy to just stop by and drop something off on the way to town.

This company is very generous. As a part of my senior project, (a mock DUI) I was in need of two wrecked cars and Z Recyclers donated both for a good cause. They also helped wreck the cars to look as best as possible for the mock DUI. I am very thankful for this company!

Good price on steel

Extremely unimpressed. Just dropped off a full exhaust system including more. They gave me $2 for all of it. I could have sold the catalytic converter for $150-$200 I am incredibly unhappy and won’t be going here again. This isn’t the first time I have felt like Zs has pulled a fast one on me.

When we were the victims of metal theft, the staff at Zs were eager to help in anyway they could. Ive always made sure to use them for all my metal recycling from that point forward.

Came looking for a small amount of scrap brass stock, not the same selection at the hardware store of course, but much cheaper and friendly service.

Ive never scrapped a vehicle before and had heard some bad stories about scrapyards. But Zs was courteous, honest and prompt. I would recommend them to anyone needing to scrap.

These guys are great. Never have had a problem. Honest to deal with.

Called on a Friday told them that I had an RV to scrap. Specified that it was complete. The guy asked if the holding tanks were still intact even. Quoted me to be paid $60 a ton. Monday morning, I drive my former house, on fumes, to Z recycling. I get there, the guy informs me that they do not pay for RVs. That they can take it off my hands if I pay them $.10 a POUND!! Now stranded and upset I was approched by two men that just happened to be interested in buying my rv for bottom dollar. I mean BOTTOM dollar too. Dude gave me one hundred Canadian from his trip to Canada, and a twenty dollar bill. I can only find it curious that they were even there and interested to begin with. One might suspect that my terrible encounter may have been orchestrated to benefit these dirtbags at my expense.

Honest! One word to describe Zs. I have used Z Recyclers for 20 plus years and will continue to use them

Buy new or scrap by the pound. I have scraped a few cars here, and have found metal for several small projects.

I don’t know what you guys are trying to portray but, kind yeah right! Courteous flipping sure... My husband lost his job today and we needed to pay our water bill the only way we could do it was to sell parts from his collection of go-carts and whatever we could find ... our child is ill and they flippin’ ripped him off... he took in an electric engine (45pnds) and it had a little tiny piece of metal sticking out of it... which I’m sure they could have been “nice” and cut it off for him, but nooo, it couldve paid our water bill this month and put a cushion on our water bill for next month but the total they gave my husband was 18 dollars. We called ahead and they said an electric engine would be 35 cents a pound. The engine was 45 pounds. And they ripped us (including my child) off and gave him a 10 cent rate for the engine and now we don’t have water. THANK YOU Zs for your kind, Courteous, and honest scales from a house wife, saving cans now to take to SCRAPIT!

I have sold scrap to every recycler from Schnitzer in woodinville, all the way up to that one off slater right by RDS owned by the other parberry brother...but anyway zs was excellent!.... their price was fair and the employees were cool..and they didnt interrogate me about where i got my metal like im some kinda loser theif...like so many places do now..i highly recomend this place.

DONT GO HERE!!!! They turned around a fixed the car and sold it in my name and the person didnt change the registration! And I get bills from the car being driven over toll bridges!!!!!
