Brand new to the craft and the staff here guided me through every step of my materials purchase without any pressure to buy anything I did not need. They answered every question I had and gave me about 40 minutes worth of private instruction. I cannot wait to return for my next visit. Thank you all for your time an efforts.

Tandy is the old joint where I went when I first started years ago. Today, their starter gear is way too expensive and their leather is way too pricey. You must start somewhere, so by all means, go here, put your toe in and learn what you really need once you have done a few projects. Then go elsewhere for both tools and leather. Basically, this is a hobby shop. Oh, and shipping for a single 1 belt strip at $10 + 12 shipping ($24 after tax!)? Come on, there are excellent Timberland, Polo and Hermes FINISHED belts in good shape for that used on ebay.

I came to this place and I was able to get All my questions answered ( and I had a lot ). Tara was nothing but wonderful and she was so patient. I wish they would have a bigger fish section. Was very disappointed how little the fish section was. I wish they would be more clear it is a dog store!! Definitely NOT my store
