This place has tons of comics of various genres. So much fun to browse around, which is the best part of a comic shop over amazon. The lady who works there were very knowlegeable and helpful. Had Recommended me revival and criminal from image comics. Really enjoyed the both, Ill be going back to get the next volumes.

This is my go-to shop and I dont go anywhere else. Friendly owners who are always open to help you find what you need. You can also get a monthly box and they will set aside any new issues you choose.Also have a large selection of trades, Manga, figurines, pop figures, etc. As well as a big stock of older/vintage comics.Ive been to most other shops within about a 45 minute drive and this is where Ill keep coming back.

Great comic store with amazing selection along with board games and table top games like D and D pathfinder etc. Mike one of the owners helped me pick some grwat comics out and was SUPER nice... knowledgeable. Absolutly a must visit if you like comics!!! 👍

Wandered in here while walking around on the snow day today and I had so much fun looking around. The guy working there (who I got the impression was the owner) was friendly and made us feel so at home. We didnt bring money with us, so were walking back tomorrow because we saw so many exciting things we want to buy! Happy to know a local place like this exists.

This place is great. The owners are knowledgeable and very friendly. They dont mind taking a few extra minutes just to nerd out, or help you find your next comic adventure. My family loves the place and Ive introduced about 10 of my friends to it as well. Large selection of comics, graphic novels, collectables and miscellaneous table top/card games as well! Definitely worth stopping in any time youre in the area.

Great location & terrific layout of comics, cards, toys, and gaming equipment, though this is PRIMARILY a comic book store. Kid-friendly stuff is right out front, with mature and detailed material further back. Both of the store-runners/cashiers that Ive talked to were friendly, fun, & helpful. Ive seen lots of parents bring their kids there for a good family time.

My toddler and I love this store. Amy, the owner, is very knowledgeable and always friendly. Great selection of used and new comics, loads of toys, and a decient amount of games. Lots to look at in such a small space. If they dont have something they are always willing to order it for you. Bonus, there is a great back room to game in!Amy and Brian are fantastic. Many years ago, this is the store that got me back into comic books. It was named something else then. On my recent visit, I unfortunately have to say that the store layout was confusing. I walked around for nearly 30 minutes and felt frustrated by the way it was set up. The comics along the walls were okay, but the trade paperbacks and collected editions in the middle of the shop seemed to have no discernible order. I couldnt tell if they were in alphabetical order, or by company, or by genre, or what. I have found memories of this shop but my last visit was not great.

Its a good shop with a nice box subscription service. Selection is decent with a healthy back stock and local selection. The only issue is it can be hard to navigate the back stock or find some of the limited run stuff because it gets buried behind something else

I Highly recommend this place! Store is always fun to visit with very friendly helpful staff. Great selection. They have always had what I need or are very willing to order what I want. I believe they have a gaming room (In the back MTG & D&D) as well. Plenty of parking. Another Castle video game store is right next door. Very close to Alderwood Mall and theaters. Check them out sometime.

I love Subspace Comics!! The owner is super fun to talk to. I learn something new every time I talk with him. I basically will not shop for my comics anywhere else because I love supporting my local comic shop, this shop.

I drive around a lot across the state and anytime Im close to Lynnwood I make sure to drop in here for both the new comics and back-issues. The owners are cool and theyve set up the place really nice. Theyve also got a good mix/arrangement going between comics and games, which is cool because Ive had some awkward experiences showing up on a tournament night and trying to bob-twist-weave my way around folks to skim through the long boxes.

Theres a room in the back for gaming. Plenty of comics cards and boardgames. A well rounded store for the nerd inside you.

A great place to get comics! I have a pull box here and they always let me know if something was short on stock and if there are any new series that are coming out that I might like! A diverse selection of comics from both major and independent publishers as well as games, dice, figurines, and gaming books! Its definitely worth a visit!

Ive been searching for a larger comic book place to browse for new to me titles and collectibles and this is the place for it. They have an awesome selection of quality collectibles and comic titles from many sources, including a large space dedicated to Indie titles. The staff I interacted with was a friendly person willing to answer all my questions about their subscription service and recommended another nearby place when I asked about selling Pokemon cards, which I really appreciated. I dont have a subscription here because Im not that local but I will be visiting in the future for the selection and awesome customer service.

Always very helpful. They dont look at you as bothersome. I jist left there, 1 customer after another asking multiple questions. Including me. Brian goes out of his way to help new readers just the same as a regular. And does it in a friendly knowledgeable way. Helping me find back issues and has record of previous purchases to help me make sure Im up to date. Never met owners anywhere, like Brian and Amy who were that helpful.

I walked into Subspace Comics about three years ago knowing a little bit about Batman from what Id seen in movies and cartoons growing up but wanting to know more.Amy and Brian were quick to tell me where to start down the rabbit hole. I got hooked instantly. Theyre extremely knowledgeable and offer fantastic guidance/recommendations for both those who are new and those who are veterans to the world of comics.They offers a subscription box service for a small fee and will order items for you if they dont have them in stock. Its been fantastic when I dont always have the time to go through the shelves to pick my issues out.As my box list has grown, theyve learned my tastes and interests enough that I dont always have to tell them I want something - it just shows up in my box, ready for me to read. Ive found several new stories to get lost in because theyve put the time and attention into personalizing their service to me.If youre into blind box figures, they usually have one opened and out for trading if you dont get the one you were hoping for (which Ive definitely taken advantage of a few times!)Theyre also well informed with respects to local events (such as comic artist appearances, conventions, etc) and even host a few of their own from time to time, including a monthly book club which I have yet to take part in.To put it frankly - theres a reason I keep coming back for more. Subspace is a clean, friendly, welcoming place and I would highly recommend them!

Subspace Comics has a very comfortable atmosphere for both the new and old comic fan alike, not to mention for the tabletop gamers. Both Nate and Amy, the two that I see most frequently, are always courteous and helpful. I highly recommend the store for all your comic, gaming, and other nerdy needs.

From their earlier beginnings as the Comic Stop, this place has continued to hold its own. Tried and true, youll be hard pressed to find a better group of fans to run a comic shop.

This place is fantastic. I only stop in occasionally but they are always friendly and knowledgeable. I decided to review because of what happened with other customers. The owner, Amy, was checking out a talkative older gentleman while a younger couple waited. The woman huffed, rolled her eyes and generally looked impatient and annoyed. Amy was clearly trying to politely withdraw from the old guy but apparently the woman was done. She started yelling about how much money she spends, and swearing. I was with my 13 yr old, who has heard an fbomb on occasion, but there was also a man in the store with two kids under 5. The woman then left the store, holding up her arm, flipping everyone off. I thought Amy handled it well, then came on here to see the other half of the couple,despite praising the store in general, has given them a one star review and referred to Amy as owner (intended as disrespect or just sexist, I cant say). He states that she ignored them to talk to an unstable non paying customer. The man bought something and was talking about how the local stores have changed. I was waiting to buy a something after the couple behind him and I didnt mind. Its true that they had to wait but the guy was just friendly and maybe a bit lonely. A little empathy on their part would have gone a long way. Service isnt just about high paying customers (though they wanted 2 pops before storming out, not the $500 he claims he wanted to spend), its also about just being kind to people.

Extremely friendly owners, will always help you order something in if not in stock and they have a space in the back for Heroclix and Magic tournaments. Very pleased every chance I get to visit this store.

The shop is really clean and organized which is nice. Being the closest to my house and right next to a video game store its my main place to stop for comics. The guy that works there is really nice and helpful. My biggest gripe though is they never have anything in stock. Its not like Im looking for rare, obscure titles, mostly classic stories that you can find at Barnes n Noble or Amazon any given day. I love supporting comic book stores but its a bit frustrating when you have to leave empty handed more often than not.

This is a great comic book store and where we pick up our comics every week. The owner and staff are very friendly and love comics. Sometimes their deliveries can be late or damaged, which can be frustrating (and is probably the distributors fault, not theirs), but otherwise I havent had any problems with them at all.

Every time we go here its great. Sometimes they have good deals on collectables. The staff had amazing knowledge about some of the more obscure comics that I enjoy.Theyre especially great to my girls ❤️The twins love looking for comic books and we never feel rushed. IdI recommend conico here, its definitely worth it. And its right next to H Mart and some really good Korean restaurant 😉

I am not sure if they still have the same employees, that is why I am giving it a 2 star instead of 1..But a few years ago I was browsing the books, waiting for my boyfriend to come in. He finally did after about 5 to 10 minutes, so I start to look at more comic books showing him some I was interested in.A bigger gentleman that was an employee approached me and told me angrily, If you arent going to buy anything then get out.Shocked and embarrassed (even though I fully intended on buying the book in my hand) I put the book back and I left the store crying.My dude didnt defend me; everyone in the store was staring at me; and I wasnt expecting to get yelled at for trying to see what I wanted to buy. It really ruined my experience with that store and Im honestly still upset about the incident.I wish I wrote a review when it happened.

Very friendly service and knowledgeable, Im assuming it was the owner/manager I was speaking with and recommended the Doctor Aphra series of comics as I had just finished the Vader Down comic series. Also got some My Little Pony CCG decks for my Daughter and I to try. Will definitely make this a stop when we go down from now on.

I came in here for the first time the other day, and I was very impressed. The layout was well organized and inviting, and they have an amazing array of comics and books for all ages. There are cool figurines and trinkets, too. We bought a book about Miyazaki movie art, its wonderful. Ill definitely go back, especially to buy gifts for people - as I could see lots of options that would be unique and original. Things that most caught my interest: a Flash Gordon comic compilation book, Looney Tunes comic books, and a nice selection of DND dice, among others.On a personal note, I didnt realize it then, but I think we went in near closing time and stayed beyond the cut off hour. We were not hassled at all, the woman checking us out was very friendly, and it was only after we left that I noticed the time.

Ive been in a few times. I was hoping this would be my new go-to store for comics. But with my most recent experience, I will not be going back.The girl at the counter spent 20mins flirting with the guy in line, ahead of me. And then acted like it was a huge imposition to check me out, afters. I bought 8 comic books, and asked about getting sleeves. (As with most comic stores, theyre included in the purchase to protect the books.) And the last time I was in, they were offered to me.She snapped at me, that it would cost me an extra 75c per sleeve. Srsly? I bought a stack of comics and youre trying to upcharge on plastic sleeves? Not giving me a lot of incentive to come back by being a grump, and stingy with comic sleeves bought in bulk for 5c each.Guess Ill be ordering my comics from Amazon and shopping elsewhere, if this is how they treat their paying customers.

Fantastic comic shop. I always stopped by here on my way to H-Mart just to see what was new. They have a weathy selection of comics, books, and collectibles. They even had Star Trek stuff here. I ended up buying all the Next Generation dolls they had. And they were only 5 bucks each for Barbie sized figures. I cherish my Picard most of all. One star was dinged though because they dont offer much of a discounted comic section that other stores have. They do have some white boxes in the back, but nothing seemed notably a steal of a deal.

Was a favorite of mine and my family until today 2/23/2018. Went in for our monthly haul $500 at least, usually drop $300 per month,and unfortunately were left waiting at the counter while the Owner listened to some non paying customer blab on about random stuff, not once acknowledging our presence. Not a Be right with you, instead we got ignored and snapped at when we were getting a little irritated for being ignored for a clearly mentally unstable UNPAYING customer wouldnt shut up and allow PAYING CUSTOMERS to handle business. I LOOOOVED this place and will now NEVER GO BACK which sucks. Will also make sure nobody else goes either. We got tax return and were literaly going to spend at least $500. Bad of her to treat customers that way. Really sucks. Very dissapointed. Unnecessary and very rude.

Large selection of new comics. Everything you can think of. They had a small display for halloween giving kids a comic and candy. The staff wasnt particularly friendly or unfriendly.....more just there which was fine with us.
