I remodeled a large kitchen and needed new countertops. A smaller company off of Broadway in Everett was unable or unwilling to do the edge profile I needed and was never able to come through with final costs. Granite & Marble Specialties had absolutely no issues with my request and worked up a final bid in less than an hour. Every commitment they made was honored when they said it would be. Competitive prices and good customer service. Myko was attentive to what I needed and my requirements. Steve the scheduler was right on top of things. Sorry template guy, I forget your name but your work was perfect and the pieces when delivered fit great! Octavio the installer and his brother were professional, arrived on-time, did an excellent installation job and left the kitchen sparkling and clean. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Two guys showed up with the counter tops. One was mentoring the other. Both worked very well together. Counter top looks seemless as I had two pieces glued together. The guys took the extra to make sure cabinets leveled and shimmed where necessary. They only had to drill the one hole for the faucet which turned out flawless also. Very professional crew who performed the installation above and beyond.

I am extremely unhappy and frustrated. I ordered granite for a butlers pantry and washroom. I put a deposit down and waited for my final bill. It came 5 month later and $400 more than what I was expecting. Every time I emailed....crickets! And the accounting didnt reflect a credit I had coming. In the meantime I was bounced from one employee to another. When I expressed how poorly this was handled I just got an oh well. I paid the bill but I am very unhappy with their internal business practices and customer service!

We had an old tile hearth replaced with a granite remnant. Granite & Marble Specialties was wonderful to work with especially during Covid. They were responsive and timely. The granite slab was installed professionally by two very nice installers who did a GREAT job. I am very pleased with my experience with this company!

From start to finish everyone at GMS was wonderful to work with. Abe and Myko were friendly from the get go when we walked into the Lynnwood showroom.We ended up working with Myko and she assisted with pricing and countertop material options. She was always super responsive to any questions we had!We were contacted within a week to have our template scheduled once we placed our deposit. The template went very well and he made sure to ask questions to ensure every detail was communicated so that everyone was on the same page.A few weeks later we had our install. The installers were very professional and made sure to protect our floors upon arrival. They finished within a few hours and cleaned up everything so as not to leave any mess behind.I would recommend GMS to anyone who is in need of countertops!

I recently got my kitchen & bathroom counter tops done by Granite & Marble specialties Lynwood store.1) Estimation: There were some hiccups during the initial contact/estimation process but Abe at Lynwood store went out of his way to resolve it and help move the process. I had estimates done from big box store & local stores. They were definitely very competitive on the price with wider slab selection.2) Slab selection: They have a wide selection at lynwood store. Plus they had a bunch of slabs at the kent store as well. Most customers would find something they like there.If you are picky like me, there is the option of picky a stone at the wholesaler like MSI and they work with them. I went down to MSI in kent and picked a stone that I liked. Pricing model changes as you pay by the slab but Granite & Marble made it very easy to work with.Once the slab selection was made, the templating & install was scheduled pretty fast. Steve was a great guy to work with for scheduling.3) Demo & Install : I am hired demo services from them as well. The installers Octavio & his brother were amazing. They showed up early morning did the install & demo for kitchen, bathroom & vanity in same day. They were very careful in being careful during the demo. I had old tiles & plywood combo with messy nails. It all worked out great in the end.The fabricating of the stone was very well done. The seams/ glue joints were almost undetectable and placed strategically.

I used Granite & Marble Specialties to replace my old laminate kitchen countertops and I couldnt be more pleased! I have the highest praise for this company! Their Lynwood office gives a great idea of all the options available via samples as well as many slabs and the slab options in their Kent showroom is staggering. I had a somewhat challenging situation due to the small size of my kitchen, the configuration and an irregularity in 1 of my cabinets and I called with my concerns and questions a few times. I spoke with Abe the manager and I cant praise him enough! Hes not only an extremely knowledgeable professional, he was always so patient, courteous and pleasant as he responded to all my inquiries. The template measurement was flawless. The demo of my old laminate and wood backsplash went so smoothly and quickly. These same 2 pros installed my granite perfectly as well as my new undermount sink and drilling holes for the new faucet! They took particular care to keep the work area and my home tidy as they put protective floor blankets down. G & M Specialties plumber who reconnected everything was extremely professional and was also quickly able to solve a glitch with my old garbage disposal. From beginning to end everyone involved in the process was outstanding- extremely knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and easy to work with. To top it all off, Abe told me that the initial measurements that I did were too big and that after their professional template measurement was made my final cost would be less than the initial quote!

Great job! Shopped around. Reasonable price. Good showroom, professional sales staff. After sale and precision measurement, Steve scheduled the work. Surprise--the guys were 15 minutes early! Install went without a hitch, but what was most impressive is that they were able to install an undermount sink the manufacturer stated a 36 cabinet minimum requirement into my 32 cabinet. It fit perfectly with about 1/4 to spare on each end. Seams virtually invisible. Thats precision. Same with the cooktop. A job well done.

Very pleased with the work done by Granite & Marble! They installed our honed quartz in our master bath perfectly. Next was our kitchen project that included a huge island slab. Additionally, we had them surround our fireplace with quartz and that turned out great too. The people on the team are wonderful to work with. From Jennifer in the office, to Steve who made the friendly calls, to Gui who templated, and then to installers Javier and two others, it all went well.

We were looking to replace tile countertops in our kitchen and bathrooms and have been debating on the correct time to upgrade due to Covid and uncertainty around cost and quality being the first time home owner.I have shopped around several retailers in the last 6 months in my quest to get a bargain without sacrificing quality and choose granite marble specialties based on economical pricing (they beat all others), they came through as someone who knew what they were doing, helped me choose the right countertop and backsplash material by personalized recommendation.I was very nervous on the day of install as this was my first experience and it went very smoothly. Great selection and the folks here are very knowledgeable and courteous. Abe was extremely patient with us and took the time to explain the different options and material there. It was near closing time for them but he didnt rush us and guided is through all the different options and gave us his honest opinion of what might be good vs not and wasnt looking to just make a sale. Definitely earned our trust and was it was a pleasure working with him. Great service and great selection of marble, granite, porcelain counter tops and they had a lot of recommendations for cabinets as well.

Remodeling a kitchen is stressful. There are many logistics and communication is key with whomever you hire. That said, I had some initial hiccups around communication with our job, but Abe stepped in and with patience and solid communication was able to explain components/billing for the job. Octavio (and his team) also did a superb job on install day...kind, professional, and careful.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new quartz countertop. It was a pleasure working with Abe and his team. We have a rather large kitchen with about 65 sq.ft. of counter space. Abe understood what we were interested in and also our budget constraints. Abe made it work for us. When it was time for the demolition and installation, the technicians came in around 11AM and by 5PM, they had completed the job.It was perfect and perfectly beautiful. We werent happy with experiences wed had with other stores. Estimates were reasonable but customer service was lacking. Then we found Granite and Marble Specialties in Lynnwood. Our experience there was top notch. Marina and Abe were knowledgeable, helpful, and patient as we debated what worked best for us. Our countertops are now installed and the workmanship is outstanding. Were very pleased.

They provided the lowest rates, were flexible when I wanted to change the material, were flexible and responsive in providing estimates for the existing countertop removal, plumbing disconnect, and plumbing reconnect, provided me the no seam look that I had requested, and provided constructive feedback when I selected materials too thin or may not have worked with my existing kitchen. A very pleasant experience for the bathroom vanity countertop. The sales staff was very knowledgeable, and the installation process was very smooth with good communication and excellent follow through.

Have had our kitchen and our bath done by Granite and Marble. Planning to go back for the next bath. Very pleased with how quickly they work and the quality. We had an issue with cracking of one seam in our kitchen due to heat, which they promptly repaired and also a minor issue of one backsplash piece being cut 1/2” too long. But otherwise everything looked great and was spot on- even in and old building with uneven/irregular walls. Thanks!

Granite and Marble Specialties are a great company to work with. I am the owner of Flourish Design and Build. I have worked with other stores and companies that offer countertops and cabinets and Granite & Marble Specialties are simply the best to work with. Their customer services is amazing. I was in a pinch and they turned a counter top around in a matter of days. Since I do a lot of projects I care about the bottom line price and I have not found a company that can match them. I could not be a more satisfied customer!

Fantastic experience! Great crew! Everybody i dealt with at the kent location was wonderfull. They went far and above my expectations. I had a problem with my countertops not being level and they fixed it without hesitating or complaining. Everybody i worked with deserves a raise. I own several rentals, one had water damage, I visited the Lynnwood Granite Marble Specialties store in hoping in getting my new countertops installed quicker than most other places I visited. Turns out they also sell cabinets and they carry four different cabinet lines. The nice thing was I still havent paid for the cabinets that I was planning to buy on the same day. The experience in getting my cabinets and countertop from start to finish was great. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the overall service was top notch all the way to my cabinet and countertop install. The countertops I ordered turned out to be really good for the price. The one thing I was happy with is they supplied the cabinet with an install date and were able to quickly fit me on their calendar on a very short notice without compromising the quality. Im extremely pleased with the work done, thank you very much for this excellent service you provided me and to my insurance contractor!

We worked with multiple contractors in the process of getting our home renovated. After comparing several countertop stores and contractors to meet our tight schedule for our kitchen & bathroom remodel we went with Granite & Marble Specialties of Lynnwood, WA. We chose quartzite for the kitchen countertop and quartz for our bathroom vanities.
