I would not buy glasses there if I where you. Everything is fine until you actually need them. I bought my glasses 2 days ago and a piece broke, I want to return them or very least get a brand new pair since I only use it ONCE. Store told me I had to wait two weeks to get a replacement piece, that mind you, I need to pay for, and that no, I couldn’t get a new pair unless I paid 50% of that new pair.Honestly, I used this glasses once I got no coverage or service from this store. BS
The worst service that I ever had! I went to this store to get my new glasses nosepad. They ordered a new one for me and I have to wait for 3 weeks. When the nosepad came, it is actually not the right one and they told me to go to the other store. I want to refund it and everytime I get there, it says there are on break. It has been 3 weeks straight, I could not refund my money!

Very bad experience at Alderwood Mall store. I was only in the store 2 minutes, tried on a pair of Maui Jim’s put them down and the employee came right over to me and said I need to put them in a box after trying on. Then grabbed a pair that I had not tried yet and through them in the box. I said I hadn’t tried them and he snapped at me and treated me rudely after that. An African/American guy that obviously didn’t like the way I looked. I came to specifically buy Maui Jim’s and just wanted to see what color lens I liked better. I will buy them at another retailer or online, but not from sunglasses Hut. He needs to be fired.
I went to Alderwood Mall Macys to purchase Rayban Aviators. I was greeted by Katelyn. She very hospitably let me try over 20 sunglasses. She cleaned them all in order to follow the Covid SOPs after I tried them. I ended up buying three sunglasses due to her exceptionally great customer service. She got me the best deals in my purchase. Once she understood my choice, she pulled out a bunch of sunglasses from the storage in order to make my selection easier. During this time she was multitasking and was very professionally dealing with other customers as well.Katelyn made my day and I very soon am planning to buy more sunglasses from the same location and the same person.Thanks Katelyn.

Not the best service, I was looking for something in particular and the lady told me (instead of helping me find what I was looking for) ok, Ill be back in a minute, and just stand in front of counter staring outside? This other guy African/American also seemed to be annoyed having a customer walking in. I asked him a couple questions trying to get his attention and see if he could help but NOP, it didnt work. He was just standing there cleaning sunglasses. Definitely Im not giving them business anymore.
Terrible experience. The guy behund the counter was rude and didnt care to help the minute I told him it was an online order. We asked for a supervisor to which he refused. Didn’t provide any information and walked off as if he simply didn’t care. We ordered a 400 pair of glasses and I guess since we didn’t buy it from him and instead ordered online it was a problem for him.
Made an online order on Saturday, site said will be available for pickup 2 hours after purchase. Came in next day, they cant find my order. I provided my online confirmation with purchase order ID. They have the sunglasses but wanted me to pay again to pick them up. Somehow its not showing for them I purchased even though I brought all paper confirmation. Their only recommendation is to pay again and later go to your bank and dispute the other charge or call customer service to figure it out with them. Tried calling, their closed on sundays. Worse experience and waste of my time.
The employees weren’t the problem, but what was is the fact that you are going to pay top dollar for used sunglasses that are right off of the display. When you are spending $300+ for a pair of Sunglass you should be given a brand new untouched pair. PERIOD.
Took 3 days to get what I needed. When asked for a manager, he asked me to leave the store right away or he will physically remove me.... when asked for his name, he wouldnt give it to me. The rep was African-American in his thirties. Threaten me to physically remove me and wont give me his name. Stay away from him and this place
Costumer service is bad and annoying. Instead of telling me things sunglasses related, he kept asking personal unrelated questions. I politely asked that I would like to concentrate on picking present for my wife, so he visibly got upset and when I asked a question about glasses I was looking at($550 Gucci) he didn’t did not answer me. I was kind of Whiked, so I did not get his name. I believe his name started with D, he was tall African-American guy. I turned and left the store, when across to Nordstrom, got 5 star service and left happy. Don’t give them you business.
Huu at Alderwood was amazing! He helped us find what we needed and provided quality service. He was patient and kind and was very knowledgeable about glasses.

I tried to return my sunglasses that I purchased from Sunglasseshut.com but the store salesman refused to return my order and spoke with me rudely. If you buy sunglasses from Sunglasseshut.com you have the option to return them in store. But this salesman refused to return my order and said that he would have to see the rest of the sunglasses that I ordered. Due to my frustrations I didnt ask his name and left the store. But I wanted to mention that he was a afro-american salesman who treated me is suche a way. I am mentioning this so that the other salesman dont get affected by this. After I left this store I went to another sunglasseshut outlet and was able to return my order with no problem.
Worst customer service. They tried to refund less money than they owed to me. I tried to explain this to the manager but he wouldn’t even listen. Finally made my return at the sunglass hut inside Macy’s. Guys please don’t go to this store, the staff will ruin your day.
Ran in here quickly for a replacement pair of sunglasses. I was helped and out the door in less than 5 minutes. I was also surprised to see that the prices were less than Nordstrom. I will be back!
I hope this place goes out of business. They had a badly scratched pair of glasses in store but offered to order it online which is fine. Then the price was less on the in store pair but they would not honor that price.. ok not great but will still order it. Then the pair that came from online was a lighter lens than the pair in store so I brought it back only to be told it wasn’t re-sellable because it had some non-existent smudges on the lens.. so even though it was still within the return timeframe and in GREAT condition the dude tried to tell me only store credit or an exchange. Total experience was awful. No greeting when I walked in..whatever, but he was on the phone with a personal call and the only other person in the store was “hanging out with him” not a customer. Even some kids walked in and he talked to them(asked them why they weren’t in school) before he helped me. SO RUDE. And then he spent like 5 min “cleaning” the glasses I was trying to return before he even began to look at returning them. Wasted my time and gave me a hard time. Will NEVER EVER shop here again. Avoid Dominique he won’t actually help you unless you enjoy being treated so badly.

Went in there and they completely ignored us. Like we werent worth their Time. They would say hi to other people walking in and say nothing to us.(Go to the sunglass hut in Macys. Way better people there.)
This place is THE WORST. They don’t honor their own return policy, and the management is a complete joke. Don’t spend money here, they are dishonest and rude.

Purchased a 200 dollar pair of Oakleys 3 months ago, the transaction just now came through. Within a month is not ideal but still understandable, but 3 months is ridiculous. Called to ask why it had taken so long and the assistant manager Chris told me I dont see what the big deal is? The transaction came through you just had to wait longer. The kid obviously still lives with his mom and doesnt understand bill paying, but the big deal is that you adjust your spending according to your known transactions for the month, and an un-expected 200 dollar withdrawal isnt exactly up to par. The kid obviously needs to brush up on his management skills as well because that is not how you treat a situation with a paying customer. It would not have been a huge deal if I would have gotten either an explanation, or if there was none, an apology. But instead I dont see what the big deal is, it will come through when it comes through is what I got. Will not be buying sunglasses from a Sunglasses Hut again.
I will never stop at this store, theyre such a liars, no help at all, be careful when you buying something from this place.
Exchanging was terrible. We exchanged glasses in another mall and they make us go to that store to get a refund, they dont let you get a refund here only a gift card. Completely terrible would give 0 stars if possible.
The manager, Dom, (or at least he told me he was the manager) was super rude and condescending. Not helpful whatsoever and won’t be shopping there anymore.
Andrew is extremely unprofessional, rude and delusional. It’s a joke that he is in stores helping customers, he needs to give his paychecks back and be put on a repayment plan. I will never shop here every again.
