They are terrible here! they are big lumber company that uses there retail area to dump damaged goods. People - inspect your wood before you sign or take delivery. They sold me crap and wouldnt give me back my cash$ and know I have to waist more time with there office people to get a check.... Uneducated, NONE Mannered retards here...

I arrived mid morning on a Tuesday. I experienced helpful customer service and the willingness to help a simple homeowner. After a short wait, my lumber arrived via forklift and they assisted with loading it into the back of my truck. The total cost of the lumber was cheaper than going toHome Depot and I received straight boards. Overall, I am very happy with my experience. One thing that people need to understand is that this is a Lumber Yard, not a Home Depot. They have a system for helping customers. Be patient and they will help you. If you want that slam bam in and out experience, Home Depot or another big box store is probably a better bet.I say quality over impatience.

I went to this Lumber yard last week, they were so helpful. Christian Perez took time to explain in detail about the siding I needed. He gave me optionsI could use, assured me of delivery and quality. I will always return to this company for many home renovations. I am not a Contractor, just a homeowner wanting quality materials and work done on my property. This is the place to go for any novice. I live thirty miles away, it is worth the drive. Paid but did not receive product. Be careful. They delivered to the wrong address and since that person at that wrong address signed, that I received the items, Jones lumber felt they were not responsible and therefore I lost my product. They did not ask for ID, they did not call me before delivery. They used that forged signed paper as evidence against me, when I tried to claim a refund. I lost hundreds of dollars. Shady company.

We order product on a regular basis. Jones Lumber always provides what we need in a timely manner. Mornings are better for pickup as afternoon can get crowded. The sales staff has been very responsive and helpful.

Told they would have marine plywood in stock no later than a specific date and I went ahead and ordered it a week in advance and arranged for a worker to pick it up the following day to be safe. It didnt come in and I only found out because I called the day before to confirm. I was then told, it would be in the next few days so I rescheduled the worker to pick it up the day after that day. The guy I talked to promised to check and call me back. He never called and the plywood didnt come in that day either. If you are relying on materials to meet work schedules, this is not the place to buy from unless they have it in stock.

From my experience, it seems they are not interested in dealing with customers making smaller purchases of $3000. I picked up an order of western cedar stk and in my opinion, it was not to the standard I expected or was promised. I thought it may be my inexperience in this field but I was able to pick up the same thing from a different retailer who offered far superior quality. The second retailer did have a small price difference of $200. I suggest that if youre not a contractor you look elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble of having to deal with their bad attitudes and poor quality products. $200 is an insignificant amount to pay for quality and actual customer service.Pictures below: Western Cedar STK 68/88 were in this condition

#1 lumber company in los angeles

Extremely bad service. I bought wood, one of the piece was extremely crack from corner to corner it was usedless. I asked manager to replace the one piece he refused, beacuse they where close to closing time. I ask to speak with the owner, the onwer also said no. I checked and saw that they had more of the same pieces I had just bought. Im never buying anthing from them again. Jones Lumber Company is one of the biggest Lumber company and to have such loudsy customer service and not to care for their clients.
