This is by far the worst Publix I’ve ever been to. It looks nice like a normal Publix when you walk in, but over the past year since moving to this area I’ve noticed many unacceptable things at this location. Every time I go to this location, something I pick up will undoubtedly be covered in mold. The strawberries are almost always covered in mold and just last week I picked up some pepperoni and it was even molded inside the sealed bag! When I told the cashier she didn’t apologize or seem shocked either. She just tossed it aside and kept ringing the rest of my items up. Smh. The fruits are almost always on the verge of going bad too. A family pack of chips I just bought was completely stale upon opening when I got home as well. I don’t think the staff pulls expired items from the shelves unless it’s in the dairy section so look at the expiration date (even on chop bags) on everything before you buy it. They definitely do not put out fresh produce at all. It’s gotten so bad, that I don’t trust the integrity of the store at all and refuse to eat or buy anything from this location again.

Sometimes I wonder if this location is a part of the actual Publix brand bc it never fails that any time I come here, there are at least 2-3 staff members standing around chatting near the registers, and they refuse to come bag groceries. It’s as if I’m a volunteer staff at this particular location. I haven’t experienced this at any other location, and I frequent this one several times a week. I just wish they’d do better.

If the cashiers stay off they phones they could move the lines better other than that the deli department was excellent and on point.

Tried to order a cake and they said the next day after 4pm that never happened at Publix. I get the whole Covid thing and people not wanting to work but they have nasty attitudes I mean just shut the whole department down or get the managers back there to help people still want cakes

The store is always clean and the employees are nice. Unless you ask for a rain check. That always takes forever because they call someone to see if theres more in the back and blah blah blah 10 to 15 minutes later

He deli is why I go. They have great chicken and salads.

The pharmacy individuals are nice. The cashiers are always friendly at the checkout.

The shopping carts here are in better condition than Krogers

Bought a birthday cake here though I was a little dissatisfied since they didnt have the cake I wanted.

Well stocked. And even had magic shave powder for African-American male shaving needs when the nearby Kroger and Walgreens didnt.

Very clean and stocked unlike kroger across the street! Kroger is old and dirty out of alot of stock! Publix is so exspensive!

I had a great time. I did use Groupon and I saved a little money. My bf and I took my 4year old. She wasnt tall enough for the skywalk🙄🤷🏽‍♀️ but she did have a blast on the geyser, dinosaur walk, mumsem, train, mini gulf, indoor play area, sky ride, movie, and laser show. All were included with the Groupon. We did walk down the mountain it was an easy walk but we are the people that take 6 mile walks and bike on the regular. Parking wasnt included but we had a parking pass ($40) I think its $20 one time parking fee.

Pharmacy is the worst they dont text you when you have important medication thats ready for pick-up. Which been sitting for awhile, deli seems like they all worked in a nursing home I stood in line over 10 minutes for a sandwich only one person in front of me with 2 employees making 1 sandwich wow really. 3 stars comes from the cashiers along with customer service skills they have otherwise I would give it a 1 star.

I have not had a bad experience at this store the fruit is always fresh and customer service is excellent. I enjoy curbside pickup its a quick option when I have a sleepy 3yrs old in the car.

Not too crowded. Needed only a couple of things...in and out quickly. The employees who assisted me were very nice too.

Publix on Floyd Rd. is a wonderful store with great prices. And staff is awesome.

Just moved to the area two months ago and was very happy to have a Publix less than 7 min driving distance. My experience with Publix stores has always been pleasant and have never had an issue before. This particular store is always under-stock I have never been able to go there and actually get everything I was looking for. Las time they were completely out of Coffee Mate french vanilla creamer and every single time I attempt to purchase Lacroix pamplemousse they are completely out. There has not been a single crocery trip in two months where they actually have it in stock, they are always out. The other day they were also out of maple bacon. Additionally two grocery trips ago I brought some floor soap which was already oppened and spilled in my car!!!!!! I didnt request a refund or anything but that just adds to the aggravation of not being able to find normal items on stock in a regular basis. 95% of the time they dont have bagging people either. Just too much of a hassle to go to this Publix, will be going to the kroger thats on the plaza next door or just going somewhere else for my groceries.

Great as always. Publix is always clean and friendly. I have black problems and their carts always roll smoothly. Unlike other stores.

I am a regular at this particular location . The staff is always pleasant. But today I have to give a special thanks to a Deli worker by the name of Tori. Tori was awesome!!!!! Very professional!!! She accurately executed ALL of our sub sandwiches this evening. She moved in a fast paced and was extremely polite saying yes maam thank you and please..... It was truly a great experience today. Thank you Tori for your positive attitude and smile!!!! Even through mask your smile still snuck through to your eyes!!! The sandwiches were amazing as well!!!!

The overall checkout was great. One word of warning though. The deli is extremely slow. If you are in a hurry for a sandwich....dont do it. Youll be very sorry and angry. The staff is nice though.

Update: Shayna a higher up manager reached out and made the situation right. The sign was moved and I was compensated for the inconvenience. Saleese at customer service finally checked out my items who I originally was serviced by. No apology, just a lecture how “what you said is not what it was” and “I tried to tell you....”. But can’t complain because Shayna did apologize and agreed with how it should have been handled properly from reaching out. Can’t change people but thankful for those who made it right. I will continue to shop there and hopefully not need customer service.Shoppers beware shopping BOGO I had a wonderful cashier initially helping but not a great manager and assistant at customer service today who talked down to me. They didn’t want to correct a sign being out in the wrong spot. (Photo shows items surrounded by BOGO and the sign below the Chex with a sign, guess what it’s incorrect text. The only item in a sea of BOGO with a sign in front of it isn’t)All I expected was an apology for the error of signage, move the sign to the appropriate area and compensate my items. Instead I got eye rolls, apathy and no acknowledgement of the sign being wrong. Even though the fine details didn’t match any items around it as well, making the sign void by their bias.Make sure you check every line and even oz of the item before you have to deal with the headache I did. Disappointed this location didn’t focus on doing the right thing which I expected being a Publix shopper at many locations and a loyal customer for over 10 years here.

Publix is on my list of grocery stores. Ive started going to publix more than other grocery stores. The buy one get one free helps a lot. Always coming out with more than was on my shopping list, but its worth it in the long run.

Whom ever is working the deli / sandwich making is slower than can even be imagined. I waited 10 minutes while the two women back there worked slower than youd imagine would even be humanely possible to only make 2 half subs.Id like to not place blame solely on the employees but more so on the horrendous manager that hired and allows there employees to work in such a fashion. Its clearly the example of which the deli manager promotes and must work like themselves. The location is a black eye for the Publix in general.
