Absolutely love this place. Its easily become the only place that I buy books and the owner is always a great person to talk to! They have a fantastic selection and theyre very accommodating (within reason of course)!

Its an older bldng that is being renovated right now, that is a bit off the beaten track. The selection is good, the staff refreshingly helpful, & the experience well worth the trip! The owner, Tracy, is a well informed book lover ready to assist & educate!

You should definitely stop by, I went in looking for Agatha Christie books and found them in abundance, along with many thousands of others. Amazon will be fine without your business, save yourself some money and support a local bookstore!

Great little used bookstore hidden in mableton Georgia. Tons of nooks and crannies to make it fun to hunt for literary treasures. Good prices and a super helpful staff. I look forward to returning again in the future. I found a great old book on magic.

Very Large Selection! Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Diverse collection includes wide range of fiction and non fiction. Not just used books recycled but new choices can be special ordered if not on the shelf. Highly recommended. Excellent opportunity to support a local business.

I absolutely love coming to this place. I always contact them first for my childs summer reading. Large selection and very nice staff!

There is considerable mark up on a lot of books. They also use stickers to write these markup prices that are put on the front cover. When these are pulled off the cover gets damaged. They also use inventory stickers on the inside of the front cover that cannot be removed without damaging the cover.Ive shopped at too many other used book stores that have better methods and more reasonable prices.

They have any used book I need, want and dont need. I always buy lots of books because they are so reasonable and they do trade ins which makes buying books more affordable.

Laid back unless you have children that can get restless. Not small child or ADHD child friendly; restless kids stress out the owner and thus stress you out as well. However, great selection and going back without children was a more pleasant experience. Owner will order new books in for you if they arent in stock.

Amazing selection of books of all genres, at huge discounts! The building is literally packed with books from floor to ceiling; its hard to move around in some areas because there are so many books! There is a section for new books, but most of the place is devoted to used books.They have an area where you can sit down and read in comfy chairs; I think this is where the book clubs meet, but I dont know much about them. Next to the reading area, they offer a small selection of tea and coffee - just please be considerate, and be careful not to spill!Family owned and run, the staff is incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable about everything in their store - and most books that arent. After a few visits, theyre more like friends than vendors! They will recommend authors you havent tried, and sometimes havent even heard of, and once they learn what types of books you like almost every recommendation is a winner.You can ask them to look for books they dont already have, and theyll keep looking, no matter how long it takes. Theyll call you when your book arrives, and theyll hold it for you into you can come in to pick it up.You can bring in your old books and get a store credit that you can use to help pay for your purchases - and they dont give a ridiculously tiny amount either! Your credit doesnt expire, and you dont have to keep track of it. They save it to your account, and theyll use it automatically when you check out.They also use your account to let you know if youve previously purchased a book, no matter how long ago, to prevent you from buying duplicates.All in all, this is the best book store, new or used, that Ive ever visited. The selection, and sheer number, of books available is almost overwhelming. Add in the incredible people always eager to help, and the Book House just cant be beat. If youre in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop in - just give yourself plenty of time. Youll need it!

I love this place my daughter and I have driven all around the area where its located many times and finally noticed it one day coming from the library headed towards veterans memorial. It looks small from the outside but the collection of books inside is massive! I was particularly impressed by how well organized and easy to find everything was, as well as everything is digitally catalouged by computer, so a simple inquiry to the attendent will let you know if they have a specific title in stock. They also have an entire room dedicated to black litrature and authors, which some may find issue with but I found it to be thoughtful and accommodating, given the lack of representation at major bookstore chains and even at the public library. They also have a nice selection of comic books new and old school. My daughter and I spend hours at a time inside both browsing and reading without being hovered over or pressured to buy. I was able to snag an entire series of about 5 booksbby James Patterson used for about 2 dollars and some change for each book. (I felt like a butt head getting one book and leaving the series behind incomplete). Overall this place is definitely a hidden treasure and I hope everyone will do their part to make sure this place stays in business by shopping here.

Great local book store with half-priced used books. We went in for childrens books, so we didnt peruse all of the sections, but walking around the were all kinds of great genres to look through. The childrens section was a mess, cramped, and very difficult to look through. Most of the books were damaged too, so there were a lot that we would have purchased but instead left on the shelf due to their condition. But we still managed to find a couple new-to-us reads that my young man was excited about and were in decent condition. We will definitely be back, but only when we have enough time to sort through the mess and find some treasure. This wasnt a quick in-and-out shop for us! Might be different if youre popping in to find an adults read though, the rest of the store seemed to be cramped too, but much neater than the kids section.

Ive been going to this book store for at leat 5 years and love the environment each time I visit. The new location is awesome as well.

I absolutely love this place. The owner Pam is the sweetest person. I have never be treated anything but nice and I have always been satisfied with my product. She has gotten me a couple of books that I couldnt find anywhere else. Plus I get a percentage off of new books I have her order. Awesome lil neighborhood book store. I prefer this store over the big chains. The fact that the staff remembers you and your preferred genre of books is a good feeling. I recommend this place to any book worms in the Austell/Mableton and any close surrounding areas.Ps.
