Self checkout lady needs new job!!!!!!! . I normally dont have a problem I go every week. If self check out is going to be the norm then hire nice people.

I was at your store and I asked a lady who was stocking shelves where I could find 2 different items. She told me which of the two aisles they were in. When I came back and said I could not find the one item, she came down from the ladder and showed me exactly where it was at. She impressed me for several reasons:- Her friendliness and smile- Her knowledge of the store and where the items are located- She came down the ladder and took me directly where it was- AND come to find out after I asked her a few questions that she was a vendor (stocks shelves)! Her name was Stephanie if my memory serves! She deserves 5 stars!

Never again. New organizing sucked. No hamburger. Never have the foods people need. Sticking to Walmart and Woodmans. Toy section n o good anymore.

Setting up an appointment to get a covid booster and still waiting 50 minutes later would not even be mentioned as things like this happen. The timely delay was due to short staff trying to please everybody. The tech giving the shots was working phones and counter and trying to give covid shots. Overlooked from complaining- just a shout out to be aware.

So, please don’t tell call-in customers that a flu shot can be given at any time for walk-ins. I did just that and was instructed by the pharmacist that an appt was essential for a flu shot even tho not one person was there waiting for a shot. Then I proceed to do my shopping, 14 items on my list, and could only purchase 4 of those items. I was told it was a Monday then the stocker just shrugged. Don’t go shopping at meijer on a Monday! Poor experience and customer service today Meijer.

Best store in town. Clean, relaxed, wide selection, no flashing camera screens in various aisles, or airport security to pass through on the way out, no need to find an associate to unlock the underwear cabinet to purchase underwear. Its a proper store.

The store isnt bad, but the parking lot isnt the best at closing time apparently. Im 33 weeks pregnant, so I have to use the electric buggy and when I took my groceries to the parking lot in the buggy, some teenagers who were waiting on someone to get out of work, decided to yell poser at me. WTH. Too bad they dont have security in the parking lot.

A bit pricey but quality is much better then Wal-mart.

We will need to go several times before we can definitely decide on changing grocery stores, but I can honestly say it was a pleasure shopping there.

I purchase sale items only. They have very good pie. Good selection but regular prices are high. Store is clean. Unlike Walmart they have more than one checker.

Meijer stores have made me change my mind since the opening. Originally I did not care for the independent attitude, but have since found the stores to be a good addition to the Rockford area.The positives: 1) The produce department is always well stocked and kept fresh.2) They have a good selection of meat and they dont try to fool people and market the lower grades just to be able to advertise a low price.(sorry Valli). 3) Meijer has many products that wont be found on other stores, ie: housewares, grilling tools, sports equipment, and many other items.The negatives: 1) Meijer has many items in only their brand and do not carry the name brand. If you want only a name brand product you will have to shop elsewhere. 2) Prices can be higher than the same item in a competitive store.Over all Meijer stores are clean and well taken care of. Employees are always helpful and friendly. Happy to have Meijer on Rockford.

Meijer is turning into Walmart . Mostly self checkouts and one register opened . Lines are outrageous. I loved meijer until they started to get more self check outs and less people on registers . I don’t get paid to bag my own groceries what is the point of having employees when the customer is doing everything themselves

Great place for one stop shopping. If your shopping for clothes,groceries, pet food, sporting goods. Beats Wal-Mart.

Sales didnt show up when the items were scanned had to wait for the cashier to fix each item. Only other problem is the 5 hour energy is extremely overpriced its the most expensive place in town to get it

Great stores but I keep forgetting to make my shopping list out according to the layout of the store. Its a l-o-n-g walk from one side to the other if you dont create your shopping list accordingly If this store doesnt have what you want, you dont need it. Great place to shop.

They had all the items I was looking for!! Some of which are really hard to find. The checker was a very nice lady!!

Worst store ever! Was so excited when it was being opened near our home but that didnt last long. Store is never stocked employees there are very rude. One completely walked into my 8 year old daughter whom was standing still then grabbed her by the shoulders to move her out of his way. When I confronted him he simply walked away without a word. Then when checking out was informed alcohol cannot be sold until 9 am . If this is a rule it must have just happened because weve bought there before this time previously. Its not a state or local law because everywhere else in town sales alcohol 24 7.

I like Meijers as a happy medium between Walmart and Target. It has nearly the variety of and prices competitive with Walmart, with, almost the cleanliness, organization, and relaxed atmosphere of Target. Cant always find what I want at Target, feel like Im in an overcrowded cage at Walmart, but at Meijer I find what I want easily at a price I can afford. Of the three, I choose Meijer most of the time.

Easily the second best Meijer I’ve ever been in. I almost wish I can move up to Machesney Park just to shop here on a regular basis. The layout - phenomenal. The cleanliness - sublime. The options - unparalleled. Although this isn’t as good as the Meijer located in Bloomingdale, this is a close second.

This store is always clean and well-organized. They run great sales too. Additionally, their staff is always friendly and happy to help.

Phones are just hung up instead of being answered. Ive spend over 3 hours trying to contact the pharmacy and the manager. No luck. Ive been visiting this location for about two years. I will not be going back. The staff and store have obviously suffered. Staff are short and rude or way too invasive in personal space. I do not recommend trying to contact the store via phone. I havent got thru in months, I always have to go in, and there is never anyone on the phone. Just pathetic business. Sad.

I like Meijer. They have some good sales. I just wish theyd put a limit on their meat specials. They advertise a good deal, then, I waste the gas to get all the way out there, only to find theyre sold out of that special. Thats the bad part. They should have enough in supply for the sale or put limits on the meat.

Forgot my mask had ones for customers. Employees friendly..checkers fast and courteous. Very nice place to shop.

Store - everything has been moved all around, a regular 15 min trip turns into over 30 minutes searching for products. When finally find someone to ask for help, they dont know where anything is either.

You can get anything here. From gas to furniture, and even food. Lots of employees to help with every need or want. Always clean. Lots of registers open at all times.

Stand in line for ten minutes to scan your own groceries, and when its finally your turn, registers are ridiculously slow. The place has gotten terrible.

Had an appointment for today for covid-19 vaccine today twenty minutes after my appointment. Went to ask how much longer was told could be a even longer when I asked to reschedule was told will be the same thing. I was the only one their for the shot 💉 It only takes five minutes for it.

Clean, stocked. Overall, friendly workers. I had one experience with a cashier who didnt know what she was doing and a manager who was too rushed to help me effectively. I ended up spending money I didnt want because the cashier told me to try it, but the transaction went through automatically afterwards. Theyre the reasons for the 4 stars.We use the butcher counter regularly- great service there!! Also, we usually find good deals at Meijer (for a place that sells name- brands).Very happily surprised with the nutty donut, picture attached.

I like meijer but over the last couple months everytime we go there. They are out of stock on alot of major items seems like they dont do very much overnight stocking very dissappinting but other then that i very much enjoy shopping at Meijer

I do grocery pick up. Meier had taken it over vs third party so this was my first experience. The staff was nice and friendly. But, I didnt get many items I ordered and have no receipt. Not showing in the app and didnt come by email. Ive requested it. I got no meat and cheese sticks, t paper, chicken, etc. And cut what I paid, would like to make sure the receipt is correct. I cant see my order either and couldnt add to it. Not sure Ill order this way again.

I can shop on line and see the total amount I owe. (Helps keep me within my budget). They call when its ready for pick up, they put it in my trunk and no physical contact. Just need gloves to put everything away or wash everything. Safer than going in the store. They sent me an email to see if I would like to leave a tip, I did because he was a very good shopper! Produce was perfect!

They need more real life checkers. The prices are great. The options of items to purchase are great. The only problem is it took forever for me to go through the self checkouts cause I couldnt hear the prompts and they dont have captions.

The place is very well kept, employees are friendly, willing to help, and easy to find things. Some products are a little more pricey than their competition but thats normal to an extent. The only thing I can say negatively is that a few times shopping some produce has been moldy in the containers and or bag they are kept in. Some dates were past sell by as well. Each time I told an employee or they seen me inspecting something they would remove it and check the others on the shelf which is a good practice. They have good sushi for store bought rolls. Tasteful and never had issues with the raw rolls.

.Whoever is in charge of ordering and stocking protein bars needs to be retrained. For over two weeks the six count of Pure Protein chocolate deluxe bars are out of stock. In its place an employee is overfilling the empty slot with something else. Whats frustrating is the six counts are on sale but the sale will end soon. The product can be obtained as the Rockford Meijer has them. Please train employees to stock product and not replace it with something else to give the fake appearance the aisle is well stocked.
