I brought my vehicle in on a Monday afternoon to have a recall addressed. The appointment was for Tuesday. Went to the service desk and it was unattended. Not a big deal, walked out in the shop got a mechanic to find someone. The person who worked with me was friendly and had no issues with the service. Tried to contact dealership on Wednesday, got no answer, and left a voicemail to contact me. Contacted dealership again Friday to find out my vehicle was done and the person on the phone made it seem like it had been done since Tuesday. I maybe wrong for presuming that the dealership should contact the owner once a vehicle is completed. But no one ever gave me a completion date or estimate or even said that I would need to stay in contact to find if the truck was completed. Simple steps can be taken for better services.

Great experience buying a used car (Nick was our salesman, good guy). Biggest positive though was working with Robb in Finance. Got us the numbers we wanted, and didnt change anything at the 11th hour like Ive had happen at other dealers. No last minute fees, no surprise tax amounts to pay. He calculated it all beforehand. Very straightforward, makes it much less stressful to know what exactly youre paying! Highly recommend!

My son bought a car from them and they were so helpful also within that same week my wiper blade gets pulled off from the new car wash, the employees did everything they could do to assist me. I dont know what kind of people this dealership hires, but they allow their employees to drive in their dealer vehicles and harass and stalk people in company vehicles. One of their employees made threats to me and everything and they keep them employed he also pays cops off so he doesnt get DUIs. I know one thing I would never buy a vehicle from this company ever I just hope everyone in this town knows the type of people that work there and allow that stuff.

I recently went to Kunes to purchase my first car about 2 weeks ago now. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. Kaiser assisted me with my purchase and he was nothing short of awesome. I was on a time crunch because I had to work later that night and he loaned me out the car I wanted for the night before finishing everything up so I would have a way to work. Made my life a whole lot easier not trying to scramble. When I came back the next day they made the process go by smoothly and I was highly satisfied with my purchase. We purchased a GMC Terrain in January. The service we received was very good. Fast forward to today when my car locked with my FOB in it. The car kept honking randomly and my lights would flash. Clearly a mechanical issue. I reached out 2 times asking if they could do anything and was told there was nothing they could do. I was given a phone number to call and that was it. They even agreed it was a mechanical issue but not once offered to come and get it or call someone for me. I was told to make an appointment to have it looked at. I also called GMC emergency roadside assistance around 9:30 or so and was on the phone with them until 10:30 they are still trying to get someone to come and unlock it. Poorest customer service from Kunes and GMC.

Overall this was a great experience! I walked out with exactly what I wanted in my next vehicle and best of all...no pushy sales people.

Short story: Drove 75 miles to look at one specific car (salesman, Emmett, was very aware of this fact). Arrived to Macomb. The vehicle wasn’t there. It had allegedly been “loaned out just before we got there”.Unabridged version, for anyone who cares: Drove to this dealership from 75 miles away to look at one specific vehicle. Emmett, the salesman we were randomly assigned, knew the exact car we wanted to see. We spoke to Kunes 3 times on the phone the day we were going today see it (including as we were leaving town) and they were expecting our arrival. Once we arrived to the dealership, Emmett had a different car pulled up front for us and said “unfortunately we just loaned the other car out this afternoon so it’s not here”. After giving us some resistance, he agreed to have someone drive the car to Macomb for us to see. We had to go kill time at a local restaurant for over an hour waiting for it to arrive. Finally got to test drive the vehicle. It was FILTHY dirty, inside and out. The mileage was 2000 miles over the listed mileage. The “service engine” light was on for being overdue for an oil change. There were cosmetic blemishes on the exterior. The “Car Gurus” listed online price was lower than their listed price. Etc, etc.The biggest issue we had was that Emmett, the salesman, got caught in several lies. He had an elaborate story about how a girl in St. Louis put $500 down on the car, so they let her drive it for a month, and then her father wouldn’t put down the 10k that he promised, so she returned it. His story didn’t make sense and when called out on specifics, his answers didn’t make us any more convinced that any of it was true. Although I am an extremely non confrontational individual and I was very composed and did not raise my voice or use any profane language throughout our whole (incredibly frustrating) experience, Emmett was flustered, as he did not appreciate being caught in all these lies and irrationally accused me of being “unprofessional”.To make a long story short, we did end up making an offer to them… But their counter offer was a joke and so we ended up walking away with nothing but a very sour taste in our mouths.At the end of our awful experience, a manager named Royce listened to our complaints, but his literal words were “I have no solution”.Just be careful if you go to this dealership. They did not appear to be God-fearing, good Christian men as they try to advertise. And I would certainly NOT recommend driving from out of town to look at a specific vehicle here.*ADDENDUM*2 days after our visit, they changed their online listing for the vehicle we looked at. They left the previous listed milage the same (2000+ miles under the odometer reading), BUT they increased their listed price by $1000. Bait and switch for the next innocent victim... THIS DEALERSHIP IS INCREDIBLY SHADY. BEWARE.
