I went in the store on July 20th to get earring repaired they put me on a 2 week waiting list to be called and appointed to be set up then .Today is August 8th I have not received a call yet .

Never spend your money at Kay Jewelers! Purchased a bridal set from them a couple years ago. Had a few issues with them (should have learned my lesson here!), but the problems were fixed. Went back recently to have the ring sent off to be repaired (a diamond fell out again..). One of the associates suggested I trade in this ring for another since my current ring had been discontinued for various issues. I wasnt thrilled with the idea, but I didnt want to keep having my ring sent off for weeks at a time so I agreed to look at other rings. The catch, though, is that you have to spend double what you spent on the original purchase. Didnt think that was fair since it was no fault of my own that the ring had been discontinued, but I wanted something a little nicer anyway so I didnt put up a fight. We financed the remaining portion that was left after trading in my ring.. I was told my current ring was considered the down payment and after asking about interest (we ALWAYS ask), was told we would not be charged. We have financed several items from there and ALWAYS made the 20% down payment they require in order to finance interest free for 12 months. A little while later, I realize we HAVE been charged interest. Called customer service and all they could say was that we did not make the 20% down payment. Was my $2000 ring not enough?! They said it isnt considered a down payment. Ridiculous!! We were never even given an opportunity to pay 20% down at the time of purchase! Had we known, of course we would have! The ONLY way they would correct THEIR mistake was if I paid 20% down right then. Not even 20% of the current balance, 20% of the original purchase price!! Moral of the story, unless you like to go round and round with customer service and be coerced and lied to, SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!! Dont make the mistake of purchasing anything from Kay. Just read all of the other AWFUL reviews online. That many people cant be wrong.

The store is always clean and well stocked, but in our repeated business with them there has been a trend of receiving inaccurate and misleading information from staff members who don’t seem to know enough about their products. We have been waiting 3 weeks for a ring and when went to pick it up 2 days after it was promised to be back they informed me it will be at least another week.

Associate was VERY polite and helpful. Went to another Kays previously and service was completely bad. She restored my hope in Kays again.

My fiance went in to get my engagement ring back in July and in November they still had not gotten it right. First, they ordered a discontinued ring, which they shouldve known prior to ordering it, but it still took them two weeks to tell us. Then, my fiance went and ordered a new ring with a matching band. When he went to pick up the ring all they ever ordered was the matching band even though the business card they gave him said they ordered the band and the engagement ring. After four stressful months, my fiance went elsewhere to find my ring. Now, months later after my fiance returned the wedding band they called him wanted payment for the band. Ive never had so many people screw up as bad as this. Engagement is supposed to be a happy time in peoples lives, but for us it has been beyond stressful.

Do not go to this location! They are all about trying to push credit apps and try to trick and push you into buying from them. I had a complaint and they handled it as if I was the person wrong. Its best to go to another location, or buy from a jeweler. High disappointed and I immediately returned everything. They will NEVER get my business again.
