If I could give this no stars, I would. I went in for breakfast this morning because they advertise a hot breakfast. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and a medium coffee. I was given a frozen, jimmy dean breakfast sandwich that had been microwaved for 3 minutes.....and the coffee was so sour and bitter. The service was great. The cashier was friendly and quick, but I will not be back. I would rather not pay for a frozen breakfast sandwich.

Great Donuts and Service! The new folks that took over the place really did improve things. I tried the ice cream sandwich donuts and it was delicious. Keep up the good work.

My husband and I just stopped in on a whim, Neil took great care of us and was so sweet and professional. We enjoyed our donuts ( I personally loved the lemon donut and the bear claw!) Well be back!

Great donuts. Great coffee. Kind and helpful staff. I was really disappointed to see these negative reviews. Often, I think we shout from the rooftops when anything goes wrong / but we forget to thank folks when things go well. This is my attempt at remedying that - theyre way better than a 3.7. Period.

Donuts are pretty good here. The place is clean. However, I ordered a latte and what was prepared for me was not a latte. I drink lattes all the time and make them at home. It tastes like way to much espresso was put in the drink. She grinded up two batches of beans and used both for the drink. It tastes like 4 shots of espresso, way to bitter for me. She also put a flat lid on the cup. A latte has froth at the top -- enough that a flat lid wouldnt suffice. When I opened the lid I saw hardly any froth. My advice would be to get your donuts here and go to Z Beans in Mercer Village for specialty coffee drinks.

Quick service and very nice but the glazed donuts, which is what I judge a donut shop on, werent that great. Seem like a basic donut recipe I couldve made at the house. Cake donuts were ok. A little dry but not bad. Cake donuts seem to be an easy thing for most donut shops. The 3 stars are for the fast, friendly service I received.

The donuts are amazing, the are so tasty! The coffee is really good too. I took my 12 year old daughter there the other day and she absolutely loved it. Now she wants some more everyday!

Daylight Donuts has some of the best donuts in Macon. The donuts are made fresh daily, and the customer service is great. Its a great place to stop on your way in to work in the morning!

I like daylight donuts in other cities but this particular one that I visited...NO! The lady seemed annoyed by me asking her questions about the pastries and then the maple and peanut doughnut lacked maple icing and had nothing but a peanut flavor. I’ve never had a bad donut from daylight donuts until today. Not to mention the bear claw was overcooked. Maybe had she smiled a little bit and treated me as though my business was valuable to her my donut wouldn’t have tasted as bad... anyhow save your money and go somewhere else.

Got a dozen today. The Blueberry and Old Fashioned are must haves! The lady behind the counter was sweet and the coffee was surprisingly tasty.

Website AND store posted signage stated that they open at 6 am.... sitting outside of shop and the store is dark, and looks like a ghost town. Wanted to try these for a staff meeting but looks like I’ll be hitting up another chain for my needs. SMH

Great quick service. I got a donut ice cream sandwich and it was incredible, must try. Recently gone under new management and improved a lot.

I asked for a strawberry shake. She asked if I were new there before fixing my shake, which I found kind of suspiciously odd, & she pretty much served me a glorified cup of strawberry milk that wasnt even filled up all the way.

Phyllis waited on me and was very pleasant and most helpful. The red velvet donuts were delicious, the pecans and cherry was an awesome!

They have great desserts but they breakfast list needs more thought to it. I was disappointed that I could not eat a breakfast sandwich at least.

Lady is nice. $14 for 6 cold not room temperature cinnamon rolls is a bit much.

I have been to them a couple of times and both times the person behind the counter is a very rude unhelpful older black lady. I will not be back. Donuts are ok but I can get ok donuts without the rudeness anywhere.

The doughnuts are disgusting and stale. However I was informed by a lady that if I can make it there in the morning it is good. Im confused on what could change from morning to afternoon that could make them that bad. Otherwise it is a clean cute spot and a franchise. I will stick to Krispy Kreme until I can find a family owned doughnut shop.

I wanted to give it no stars. I have been there on several occasions and this is the worse by far. The coffee was bitter and nasty I also ordered a Turkey sausage egg and cheese on english muffin and it was hard and cold. I asked for a new one and the cashier wanted to go back and forth with me before giving it to me. This is a new location and is already under new management. I wouldnt recommend anyone to eat or get a coffee from here.

The glazed donuts are ok at best and the pinecone is pretty good but I found a long piece of hair in mine. Hairnets are a MUST.

I was really looking forward to visiting Daylight Donuts, I tried them when I was traveling from Mississippi. I know all places are not the same but the donuts were good, Customer Service however was less than good. Lady was on the phone talking got my order wrong, when I corrected her she still got it wrong. I asked her the price on a pastrt ahe aucked her teeth and woth a roll of her neck told me. All the while still on the phone, nothing wrong with multi-tasking but she was just rude. I will not go to that one again, my apologies.

Be careful here...the donuts were fresh in the beginning...now they are days old and those little sausage wrap things were horribly cold in the middle even though they were in a crock pot...when I took them back in she poured them back in the pot not knowing if I had touched them in the car or not (which I did), then picked out more which were also cold...because of the contaminated manner of pouring them back into the pot I chose to change my order to donuts instead and ONLY because I paid with a card...I am very disappointed to know that germs can be spread at this establishment ...no telling what other food safety issues exist in this location.

Got there near six, it wasnt packed at all.
