I visit the local Fresh Market in Macon Georgia at least twice a week. The seafood department is amazing as well as the meat department. The lump crab cakes are definitely worth the price! I have to say, I don’t think I have ever been disappointed after a shopping trip here. The only change I’ve seen is that when they first opened the store, as you walked in, you heard classical music playing, and you felt as if you were so special. Might sound silly, but I feel like the ambience of the store has dropped a bit. That being said, the employees are always friendly and eager to please. Love this place.

I found a Fresh Market while traveling in Tennessee. I was so excited to share and found out theres some in Georgia. I love the cookies and the atmosphere of the people and the store. My new favorite place to go

Been a few years since weve been back to Macon. Used to love to shop at this store. Went back yesterday and it gave me all sorts of feels. Love this store, specially this one in Macon.:) so many great choices, wonderful employees.

I just love, love, love this place! Even tho I no longer live in Macon whenever Im in town which is at least every other week we try to stop by to browse a little for something good to eat! And a chance to ran into the friendliness staff members ever Hillary Stephens and Sean Donaldson!

Used to love going into this store for many years. It always smelled good and had friendly staff, lots of food choices, etc. But now it smells so bad like grease and fried chicken, I dont enjoy coming out smelling like a nasty greasy gas station. I dont know if the ventilation system isnt working well or they changed how they make the food. Not sure if there is new management and things changed or what. Hopefully they can get the smell under control like it used to be, its very nauseating...

Love, love, love Fresh Market, especially there Grill/Holiday specials! Got the Fathers Day special i.e. Steak and Salmon Kabobs and not only were the seasoned well, there was enough food, twice baked potatoes, apple tart and ice cream, we had enough to feed 2 people for 2 days!Love Fresh Market!

Always nice and pleasant to shop. Lunch menu is ok but baked chicken is very dry. Also some prepared foods in the lunch menu look to have been out too long. Everything else in the store is first rate!

The manager refused to honor a two-for-one price that was advertised on-line. I paid full price but will be taking a screen shot of the ad to the manager for a refund.After writing this review, I reviewed my cash register receipt and the sale price was adjusted there. However I still feel the seafood clerk and the manager should have known the correct price without arguing with us or asking that we prove the price by pulling it up on my phone.

I forgot how wonderful this grocery store is. Its like if Whole Foods was less commercialized and more homey. I dont live in Macon anymore, but if I did, I would be in here all the time.

Love the friendly staff. I dont mind 1 hour drive to get here. I like the dinner meal kits with fresh veggies. Walking in the door you can get a fresh ground cup of coffee. This store is about the shopping experience.

I always go to the fresh market to try new items and get their chicken salad it’s the best. Store is always very clean and most of the staff are very friendly and nice however it’s this one employee that has the nastiest attitude I’ve ever witness and she’s over the Deli Department which makes it very difficult to want to get any food from that department I don’t know about anyone else but a person attitude will make me decide on whether or not I want to eat something. I’m a manager as well (Dietary Manager) so I also deal with food and customer service and I don’t like how she speaks to the employees back there in front of customers or how she handles certain situations. Everyone should be treated with respect and it’s sad to say but you can’t give a title to some people because they let it go to there head.

Not the best Fresh Market Ive been to. Inventory and selection are meh. I miss the one in Atlanta on Peachtree.

Bought a pound of lean ground beef. Called the store to speak to the meat manager and told them that it was awful and think that I really got ground chuck. Meat manager didnt offer anything for their mistake and wasting my time and money.

I love Fresh Market for a quick in/out grocery shopping. I especially love the $5 deals every Thursdays.

Amazing service!! Countless times these employees have made great recommendations, greeted me with a smile, and gone out of their way for customers. I drive 20 minutes, passing 2 other grocery stores to shop here.Yes, this store is a little bit pricier than big box stores. But the food is fresh, a lot of it is local, and the quality is fantastic. Special shout out to the folks behind the butcher counter, who always know their stuff!

Fresh Market is awesome. Lets of different stuff you dont see anywhere else. Its like a tool store but for moms.

They didnt have what I needed. (Goats milk) when I asked a staff member about another type of product they couldnt answer basic questions like what is Keifer milk.

I absolutely love it here. It is a little on the pricey side but when it comes to quality they will always excel. Today I visited to conquer my sweet tooth. Their bakery is amazing. The last working today was SUPER awesome and sweet. I was looking for a certain type of cookie and although they didnt have it out she said give them like 15 minutes and they would make some fresh. They came out so gooey and warm and this made me so happy. She was an angel not just to make then but with a smile on her face. The guy that makes the sushi was also helpful as well as I purchased some tuna and salmon rolls. I usually come here for meats but I have purchased a variety of everything from here. The staff is great and helpful. The store is clean and organized.

Very nice upscale grocery store. Some items a bit pricey, but there is a unique selection of food items. Lots of whole bean coffees to chose from. Fresh ground nut butters. Nice produce, meats and deli. Lots of candies and sweets also for your sweet tooth.

Great Fresh Market, it was one first experience shopping at this location and it was quite pleasant, the staff were super helpful and went the extra mile to make sure my shopping needs were might. Next time that I am back in the Macon area I am definitely going to shop here again or fresh groceries. I definitely recommend coming here for grocery and other things you cant find at Kroger or Walmart!

The produce was great as well as the meat. My only problem was the butcher. I asked where the got their meat & was told he had no idea. I find this hard to believe. I always worry about meat from foreign countries.

My escape from the normal Macon grocery shopping scene is this place. Always clean and has the little things that you cant find at other stores. This is Important for people who actually do real cooking at home.Also, I dont have to deal with the human traffic in the store... everyone stays in the little zone and doesnt bother you.My splurge buy weekly is coming here.

(Sigh) I love everything about this place!!!The selection, the ambiance, the customer service, the meat department, the olive bar!! THE WINE SELECTION!! The spices!! The candles....did i mention the customer service?!I called before arrival to see if they had oxtails. Everyone i spoke with were courteous, knowledgeable and professional!! The oxtails were beautiful!! Full of meat and very tender!! I will def go back!! And i dont even live in Macon!!They are highly likely to have that one exotic or non-traditional season or item you would need to pull of a indescribable meal!!!

I shop frequently at Fresh Market. They have the best coffee beans (you grind). Try the Georgia Pecan-- IT IS AWESOME. Also their daily specials are good too.

Just so sad with over 6 million people without a job and we visit our local Fresh Market to buy fresh meat and you would think the ones that still have a job to help themselves and their family would have such a nasty, lazy and ungrateful attitude. Please just leave or quit because you best believe its millions of people would love to have that job right now to provide for their family. By us coming in, it helps to contribute to your salary not ours.

Really a good store for many things but lacking as a week to week source for your table. Wine department is weak. Deli very good. Produce limited but very good. Meat department outstanding. It is no source for staples.

I feel special when I shop here! I dont live near by, but when Im in town I stop by. I love their coffee. The roasted hazelnut is amazing. Also, the cookies in the bakery are yummy! The store is always clean. Of course, its more expensive than other stores, but youre paying for atmosphere, quality and variety of products.

Unique to the area, closest thing to a Whole Foods in middle GA. Wish they had a better dry bulk section.

Great selection of specialty products. Also they are taking good Covid precautions. They have the coffee, nuts, and olive bar products all pre-packaged to minimize contamination.

A $5 rotisserie chicken was perfect. The ladies at the counter recommended the white wine & herb, and it was delicious. Paired it with some risotto and steamed cabbage from the night before, and dinner was done in a snap.

Never have I been more excited to grocery shop! Its such a calm and inviting store! There are quiet a few choices for those on a gluten free diet. I do wish there where more varieties of Goodman Gluten Free products, they are delicious! Also, would love to see fresh baked gluten free items, you betcha Id buy them!

They try to serve the elite class of people. Overall..... the prices are higher than what you can expect from Krogers and like.The atmosphere, lighting and displays look really nice. It only took a few isles of display that we walked by, realized we didnt do our food shopping in this kind of store. They may have some really good quality produce. Sorry folks...... this aint my kind of place. Its more for folks that shop uppity kind of stores. Its a fashion statement!Too rich for my blood.Ed FletcherByron

Love the place, but on this day customer service was horrible. I was at the fresh pasta section waiting to get a pint of grill chicken salad and when the gentleman in front of me received his order, the lady that was working the counter, walks off without servicing me, mumbled something to another woman, pushed a cart and left. I was the only one standing there. When I returned to the front to check out, I was standing there in place when the cashier and a customer(that was checked out)decided that talking about TV shows was important rather than check me out. Another cashier waved her ✋ and said Ill take someone and the people behind me allowed me to go ahead of them. She was very nice and did more than covered up the waiting time I stood there. All cashier had people in line. Its ok to be talkative with customer, just dont get so caught up and ignore your customers that are waiting.😔

The best store EVER!!! Katrina (Meat Department Manager) and Keith (Produce Department Manager) are amazing!!! The food....there are no words to accurately describe the quality here. I promise you, you wont find it anywhere else. After you start shopping here, everywhere else is going to be garbage. If you dont believe me, check it out for yourself. I promise you wont be disappointed!!
