I couldnt believe the prices in this store. Just passing through town going back to Merced. Ive done reviews on all the grocery stores in Merced. Carniceria being the most expensive and on the more Poor Side of Town. Only place Ive ever seen a can of Dennisons chili beans being $2.99 a can. Same here at the store State Foods. Thought I would stop off and do some shopping. Hell no. People must be crazy paying these prices. A case of water for $6.99 I usually pay $3.99 at grocery outlet or even Smart & Final. I dont know how many stores are in this town but I find this store in comparison to all stores in Merced as the most expensive.

For a small store they have alot to choose from. They have a small meat counter & they carry Harris Ranch Beef! Theyre prices are a little on the high side but its like any other store. They have a very nice staff & the store is clean.

Very convenient if you dont want the crowds. A bit more expensive than I expected.

I had never been in the store before, but I thought it was very nice, neat, and fully stocked. Not a huge store like a big name store, great for the community it is in.

Convenient location, good selection of items for a smaller grocery store. Always clean and fairly well stocked. Friendly employees. As expected, items are priced higher since there isnt any close competition.

This place has great people working there. Prices are a bit high tho.

This is really a convenient place to shop and the prices are very reasonable for this area because we are in the county,away from the main town. The only problem I have is sometimes their prices are a little deceiving because the cantaloupe when I got up to the counter was by the pound not by the cantaloupe. They showed me the tiny print where they had handwritten in lbs, and you need a magnifying glass to find it. This has happened twice now and I think when they get the prices printed on signs they should put pound in the same font as the other writing.

Everyone is really nice! Always easy to just walk in and get what I need quickly. The hot food section in the back is really good, and the people working there will make you whatever you want.

Prices are a little on the higher side but they do have a little bit of everything and its conveniently in the middle of the ranchos so thats good

Love this Market

Ordered 8 pieces of chicken in the morning for pick up later that same day. Got the chicken home and it wasnt even lukewarm. Disgusting! Do not buy hot food from here. Its a food borne illness waiting to happen.

First time Ive ever been in here, stopped in for lunch at the deli got a 8 piece fried chicken & ham & cheese sandwich, the sandwich was pretty good, the chicken? ...... was absolutely terrible, been sitting under the heat lamps for who knows how long it was basically chicken jerky, no flavor, Ill stop in again for a sandwich but will never get the fried chicken again. 🤢

My home grocery store, best in chos

They make us wear masks but their employees dont wear them or if they do its not on correctly. I watched two employees stacking watermelons, one with no mask the other halfway around his mouth.

I went in to get a bite to eat at their deli and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a double chicken sandwich with the toppings of my choice and it was phenomenal and well-priced.They seem to have a good selection, but dont expect to have the range of products that a major supermarket will, but its the only place to go for the selection they do have in the area. A great little place with an even better atmosphere that is reminiscent of years ago.Local, family owned, good establishment.

Reminds me of a good ol fashion savemart super market so much. Same old print font style and everything the old save Mart had before switching styles . To funny. But really good store I like stores like that. They are top of the line ppl.

Great local market. Kind staff, nice food counter in the back for a quick lunch. Decent prices for being out so far from the main city.

Many times they are low or out of stock on items advertised. To get sale prices mostly you need to buy in multiples of that item, not too bad except when its produce and will go bad before you use it. I also find them to be very accommodating when they are low in stock they will honor that sale price.

Clean and tidy, well stocked with interesting new selections. Great tortillas and tortilla chips. New shopping carts and the staff is friendly. I only wish that they had a vegetarian section.

This is a new store that just took over another market that was there. They have filled the market up! It looks nice and they have a lot more items now. It was so good to see that Darlene is still working there. She is the Best! I hope they will have some good sales for all of us that lives in the Ranchos and Bonadelle area.

Extremely overpriced on majority of foods except for sales.. sale prices are repeatedly not put into register resulting in overcharging at checkout....been going on since their opening...

Very clean store and all the workers are very respectful. I love the hot food for those days after work when I dont feel like cooking. Just grab a rostisiere chicken and problem solved

The only & well stocked Grocery Store in the Madera Rancho.

Not great on selection, and for some reason they put their guacamole in the freezer but the employees are SO NICE. Slight expensive, but to be expected in a small town like this. But come on guys, freezing the guacamole like that ruins it later. Just put it by the sour cream like every other grocery store.

Nice store that has everything you need for cheap. It saves a trip going into Fresno. They have a bigger variety of foods and more ethnic foods.

Some of the highest prices I have ever seen. Only use in an absolute emergency. The gas station actually has cheaper prices on stuff.

I really enjoy going to visit friends in the ranchos its so peaceful and every one is truly friendly I feel blessed every time I go to work or just to visit people in the lovely community of Madera Ranchos

Relatively compact supermarket but covers all the basics and more - its not walmart, but it doesnt need to be. If you are in the area there is no need to travel further afield.
