So I have a new update with troublesome my past experience with viscount pools. After hard work and several pool men later, waiting several weeks, with a special heating machine, we were finally able to fit their pool liner onto the pool, Thank God. My father actually went back (the long standing customer) in there to buy additional parts after his last rough experience (since we were FINALLY able to fit their pool liner onto the pool) and according to him, they were surprisedly very helpful. They got him everything he needed, although they wanted to bring up about the tasteful negative review I, his daughter, left for them, It did not hinder him from the decent experience he had compared to the last time. So for that I will give them more stars. Its not about making a mistake in your service, mistakes happen all the time (its apart of life and we all have done it), its about owning up to it and fixing them as a collective, as a company. All we wanted was to be treated like we mattered. In essence, they messed up BUT they did fix the problem by providing better customer service towards the end. Viscount pools, in the future when a customer has a problem; hear them out, care about what they have to say, own up to a mistake and find a proper solution to fix it. Customer service is about always improving ones experience with your brand. So thank you for treating my father (whos a veteran) well on his last trip there. Thats big of you to be able to take criticism and still provide decent service. By the way I am flight attendant, so I know good service when I see it.

I purchased a new blow up spa as well as a large pool the spa doesn’t work the way I had hoped took way to long to get to temp and then started to decline from there will not maintain a hot tub temperature even though it has the ability I’m told when I called the store they refused to help my in any way at all will not return refund or replace the tub blaming me telling me that it is my fault or it is too cold outside to hold the temperature when I told him it was indoor he then proceeded to tel me all the other things that I have done wrong like using an extension cord and I told him it is directly plugged into the wall then I didn’t read the directions for the unit and I need to make sure the circuit breaker is set on the plug but if the circuit was tripped the unit wouldn’t have any power yet it does the heater shows it’s on the bubbles work but it will not heat up and it is only two weeks old

Horrible customer service. Lost employees due to Covid. Young employee was clueless, he deferred to the old grizzled guy who couldnt even stop what he was doing to say they didnt have the filter part (which the young guy said they had). He was overworked and underpaid. Had no helpful solutions. Blamed it on all the parts went to Texas cause of Covid. I drove 5 miles to Pools & Spas A Go Go in Rochester Hills, who had all the parts in stock. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Use Pools & Spas A Go Go.

Viscount pools madison HtsBOB: THANK YOU for solving my pool pump problem!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 stars Bob!FYI...bought our pool from a competitor (pool town) and when we had a parts problem at instillation told me to call Viscount. !?!? Maybe I should have gone there from the start!!! Bob spent well over an hour calling, texting and sending back-and-forth pictures to make sure that I had the proper parts to get my pool up and running. Great service would recommend to anyone.

They are the only place I go. I drive 10 miles to go to them. The water testing and help getting what I need is great. Customer service there is very friendly. Customer forever.

Decent initial experience (probably because they knew i was in there to Spend money) and Bob was very knowledgeable. At that point, I was more than okay with driving a total of 2 hours to have a better filter and get our pool back up and running. After assembling and starting filter, we found a manufacture defect and water was leaking. We called to find out how we should handle this issue and To their credit, they did offer to swap out the part for us. Rob was very helpful on they phone with me and that should definitely be noted! However coming up with a fair resolve between my husband and Bob, the owner, since we didn’t want to take a risk of losing more pool water and we live an hour away, we wanted to pick up the replacement part and UPS them the defected part and his attitude became less than pleasant.At no point did he say “sorry for the inconvenience” or anything to the like and the owner actually said to my husband and I, to our faces, in a pompous-I’m not grateful for your business kind of way “we just sell the boxes off the shelf and hope they work”And to think that We were initially willing to give them more of our business in the future! if HE couldn’t make it through good customer service on a $320 order i certainly hope HE don’t expect to get our business down the road, we’ll stick with keeping local. It’s where it’s appreciated more. Maybe it’s time for the children in the family to run the business?? Rob was great. Thank you for your kind professionalismMy husband and I both work in industries where customer service is paramount and especially in today’s climate. Perhaps a course in customer service would do the owner some good.

Great place, we bought our pool this a couple months ago, and wanted to share our experience. We visited a few places, and at this one Bob helped us, and it was perfection. We had the pool and everything needed with it delivered, and also Bob gave us 2 names to install it if needed. One of the, Joe, was tremendous, got the pool up, including a lot of digging. Today, it sits running, and is perfect. The whole process was a pleasure. I highly recommend them. They also gave us a name for a deck, and we are in the process of that too. :-)

My pool had been closed for 4 years and I had no idea how to tackle this major job. Rob was a wealth of help and information. He got me the parts that I needed by simply listening to me describe my equipment (I didn’t even have a name, part number or picture but he knew what it was and got me the right part. I had already made multiple unsuccessful trips to another store). Then he took the time to listen to the problem I was having and explained how to take care of it. It started when we first went to purchase our hot tub in Aug this year....we were in the store 15 min before we just left. Not 1 of 3 people working even said hello so we left.I came in contact via a facebook add with a salesman who was fantastic and because of the hot tub shortage over the covid crisis we bought 1 from him.We have owned it since the last week in Aug. And within 2 weeks an wrror message appeared saying heater may be dry and we have now graduated to heater is dry i have called 2 times prior and was told the water is to low....hmmm guess what thats not the problem. I call back today and talk to the owner who lacks more customer service then anyone ive come across in my 50 years of life. He asked me if there was anyone who had ANY mechanical skills in my home...to remove the panel, check this, remove this, clean this.I asked for a service call as My bachelors is in business not in spad and repair. He called me hostile and hard to deal with.....imagine a business operating this way???I should have stuck with my first impression and just waited for a unit at a place that cared about my business....so just know when your done & your hot tub is home expect lityle or no help once they have your money!DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! Now that the push for hot tubs has slowed there are plenty of places in the area with above average staff with rich médiocre owners that want your money and not a realationship! We no longer buy and spa chemicals either because they are hortibly overpriced and Amazon beats them x2! I got 3 filters for the price of their 1!Buyer beware sometimes waiting for stellar service though frustrating is worth the wait! I will never suggest this family run motley crew to ANYONE I know.

Scott was very helpful. We were looking to purchase a hot tub. He was happy to help us out. We also had the opportunity of talking with the owner Rob. Both of them could not believe how we were treated at the other Viscount stores. We had a horrible experience at the locations on Hayes and 23 and the 16 and Groesbeck ones. Rob ended up throwing in a few pool toys for free after he heard our story about the other stores. Very kind here and happy to answer any of your questions.

I purchased 14 Shuffleboard table. The salesman was very friendly and helpful. 3 Delivery men showed up right on time. As they were assembling the table, one asked another to get the level, he said he did not bring one, they looked at me and asked if I had one, I let them use my 4 and 2 . One person was lying on floor adjusting the legs as the other read the levels. Being a basement, the floor is not level, one asked the other for shims, he said he did not have any and looked at me and asked if I had shims, I did and gave it to him. When finished with the install, one explained how to prepare the playing surface. He told me to sprinkle the was on and then spray with the silicone that came supplied. I later went down to show my wife, we slid the pucks down to find it was uneven. I placed my levels on the table and it was not close to being level. I understand they would not use the climate adjusters, but they should of known how to use a level. As looking how to use them, I also seen that before you use the table, it needs to be cleaned first with window cleaner, then spray silicone to let sit a few minutes then buff surface then sprinkle the wax on last. Maybe they can be more prepared for their next installs and know how to tell customers correct way to prepare the surface. Later I also found the playing board was installed crooked, the two center leg adjustments were not touching the floor. They were nice guys, but had no idea of what they were doing.alsfound the playing boa

This 5 stars goes to Scott, at Viscount Pools,in Madison Heights. First of all, he responded quick when I contacted him after I saw his ads online. Second, he was patience with us, in deciding for buying our pool. The most important thing was,that he said in the moment,what he had available in the store,and what was not. He promissed the next day delivery, and the pool came the next day in the morning. These guys are great. I ran across them while looking for some billiard accessories near my office. They had exactly what I was looking for, including a ping pong top, and gave me some advice for felting a table. I also picked up a few used cue sticks for a great price. As I continue to add home leisure items to my house, Ill be going here first every time. Looks like they have a good collection of hot tubs, which is on my list! If youre looking for a used pool table Id suggest checking out their used inventory too, they had some good prices on them.

They have a great selection of accessories and pool tables. I was also impressed with the inventory of spies that they have. The location is off the main drag but its worth a visit.

The young man who waited on us seemed disinterested and didnt answer all of our questions. It was really a weird experience so we went to another Viscount in Waterford and had excellent service. Bought the pool from Waterford instead.

Viscount Pools is the ONLY place to purchase a spa! Got to go to the Viscount pool on Industrial Dr. Madison Heights. Robb is the usually the person I deal with. Knows everything about spas! Ive had my spa now for more than 20years. Its this place that keeps it going! Any kind of part is readily available. If a part has to be ordered, usually arrives with a few days. Great prices. Great service! Going anywhere else would be big mistake!

We bought a hot tub in liviona,then moved to armada! I called them up to see if they can move it to the front to back of are home! With in 2 hours it was in are back yard,no worries! They sent two awesome guys that knew what they where doing and did it with a breeze! Its nice to have great customer service with know head ache!!!! Awesome job viscount pools!!!!!

This places customer service is awesome! The owner Bob is hands on and took his time to help me out with an existing pool I got when I bought my home. Ive since purchased a hot tub through them as well and couldnt be happier with it. They have everything under the sun you could ever want for pools, spas and recreation. Head and shoulders above their competition. I pass no less than 4 other pool stores on my way to Viscount Madison Heights and am happy to do so.

Bob from Viscount Pools is one of the many contractors I contacted that turly cared to help me with my time-sensitive, in-ground commercial spa problem (lights not working), and was willing to help, even on a Friday at 4:30PM and during the busiest time for the industry. He and a staff member actually stayed after hours to explain how to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the original contractor that installed the tub is no longer willing to help us and did not leave us with proper tools or installation diagrams needed to service the spa. Bob found the tools I needed and did not charge. I recommend this company to any consumer that wants a contractor that actually cares about their customer. A+++++ service. Thanks guys!
