This company does 1 year factory warranty repair for many dryer brands. Here’s my experience with them.1. Brand new dryer broke in august 2021. Took them 14 days to fix it. 7 day for fist visit to diagnose and then 7 days to come again to fix it . Dryer broke in 3 weeks again.2. Took them 7 days to come fix it again, dryer broke in 1 day.3. Took them another 7 days to fix it again4. Dryer broke again after 2 cycles (1 day)5. Waiting for them to come fix it again. Next visit was you guess ? 7 days from call.I would say if you “fix “ something and it breaks again in less than one day, you have NOT fixed it. You should come the very next day and fix it. Not make me wait 7 days each time for your incompetence or deem the dryer a lemon so that I can get my refund started right away.I made sure I purchased my next brand with a company that is not serviced by kirch. Please enquire at the store, “who does the warranty repair” before purchasing your next brand. This company takes a minimum of 7 days for warranty service call and if they can’t fix it in that visit,, another 7 days and the cycle repeats but the dryer cycles don’t.
HORRIBLE EXPLERIENCE... Today is Monday September 20, 2021. Last Thursday I went and bought a washer and dryer from Kirch Appliance Inc. Very nice experience being able to go and find what I was looking for and at a reasonable price. The girl at the counter was super friendly and courteous. Today my daughter receives the washing machine and the dryer at home but with the problem that the washing machine does not work and they tell my daughter that they would not have a technician available until Friday. I call them and tell them that they need to send me a technician before Friday and I ask the person who answered the phone if they do not check the appliances before delivering them to what the person on the phone answered YES, BUT WE PICK UP YOUR APPLIANCES AT THE CURVE OF THE ROAD AND TAKE IT TO YOUR HOUSE. The person was rude and disrespectful, I ask him to speak to a supervisor or a manager and he indicates that he is the same. After his reply, I told him that I no longer wanted the appliances and he told me that they would charge me for coming to pick up the appliances since I dont want them. They charged me $ 285.00 for a NO WORKING washer, Dryer for $ 275.00 and Delivery $ 59 for NOTHING. Do not trust this company or allow yourself to be treated as they did to me.

Today October 6, 2021 after having waited for my refund for almost two week, I received a check in the mail with less money than what I was supposed to receive. Lets do the math… I paid this company called KIRCH APPLIANCES INC. $653.05 and my refund was for $466.31 so obviously they do not return the delivery charge $-59.00 dollars (even though the washer machine that they delivered was broke) here we have a balance of $594.05 plus they charge me for having them to return to my house and pick up the washer and dryer for another $-59.00 leaving a balance of $535.05 less tax charges are another$-24.31 leaving my refund on the amount of $510.74 So there is an amount of $44.43 that is not explained on my receipt. Today I went in person with my boyfriend to see why that additional charge was and the owners son could not do the math in front of us, so he threw my boyfriend and me out of his place threatening to call the police on us. This is not the first time this company has treated its customers horribly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY ON THEM if you want to be treated with respect better look for another business HERE they steal your money and treat clients less than a human being. Moreover, this situation is not so much in relation to money, it is more in relation to how badly I was treated by both the owner and his son.

So far so good with my LG sliding-drawer icemaker. David fixed it with great dispatch and it seems to have done the trick. I appreciate the 30 day warranty to be sure that was the problem. I was thinking filter because my water is so hard but we didnt address that.
W called Kirch when we had a problem with our Kenmore icemaker. David (our tech) fixed the problem and then explained the cause of what had happened. He was courteous, friendly, and efficient. Hats off to Kirch and David for great service. If needed, we will certainly call on them.
Service was good. Technician was fine. Their minimum diagnostic and service call fee for a tech to come out to just provide a quote for service is $89+tax. He didn’t diagnose anything or really touch or fix anything on our washer and was in the house for about 10-15 minutes. So you are aware, if you know what the issues are, which I did, they will NOT provide any sort of discount for diagnosing anything yourself, so no use calling for yourself. Kind of a bummer because we’ll likely need to buy a new washer and some of that money would’ve been nice to go towards one.
Called on Christmas Eve in search of a dryer heating element. They had it in stock and now I have a very happy wife. Great customer service.
Scheduled to fix a washer. Waited 4 days. They had a 3 hour window! 9-12 and guess what - they couldnt hit the 3 hr window! I called, they said ohh we are sorry, the tech is running behind today DUH - no kidding. If I didnt called, I would still be waiting for them because they werent calling me. pathetic - they didnt even bother to call me to tell me that they were going to be late. UPDATE: 21FEB2021. Of course you dont a record of JJJSR because I dont use my real name on google. You were suppose to be at my house between 9-12 on 12FEB2021 in Deforest WI. Not only did you not show up - you didnt even bother to call and tell me you were going to make it on time! Not a shred of common courtesy! Dont try to pretend like I am making this up.
Bought a washer and dryer combo from them and it is absolutely perfect. Works just like I bought from a major retailer without having to pay the price for it. The staff was very helpful and informed and everything came with a warranty. They even took into my basement and installed it for me. I will definitely be returning if I need any other appliances.
Wow! Just wow...My elderly mother ordered a part. The part arrived and she was advised it was in, so she could come pick it up. The part was picked up and taken home. It ended up being the wrong part, but was obviously not checked before it was sent out the door. My mother called to report it being the wrong part and was told that she would would have to come all the way back into the shop for the exchange. Not to mention, he didnt want to return to measure for the correct piece because he didnt want to make an extra trip!!!! This very much upset her. I called the shop to find out if they would be willing to drop off the part, since it was their mess-up and they do make house-calls. Ted told me that wrong parts are commonly sent to them and that it wasnt their fault. Oh but it is Ted. It is because you called to say the part was in before checking to see if the it was the correct part. If it happens that commonly, dont you think you would check ahead of time? You are the responsible party. This is how customer service works. He then went on to say that there would be an $89 delivery fee. I asked if someone could just drop off the new piece and pick up the old on their way to another job, since it wasnt a piece that was needed immediately. He wouldnt even help her. Im angry, disappointed and saddened. I expect this out of a corporate company, which is why i decided to support a small business. Boy was mistaken. I will be making a visit to them when I return to WI. This is not a threat, I just dont want any other in-need person to be taken advantage of, this is not the time. This is the time to help .

I scheduled a visit from Kirch 3 weeks out with a refrigerator on the brink. I waited for them for 3.5 hrs during the time they said someone would come by - nothing... I called - nothing, I left a message and no message or call in return, no sorry we screwed up our schedule... NADA. I had to throw most everything away that thawed in freezer and fridge. I would never use this company - EVER.
Dishwasher was repaired on time and works great. Price was reasonable for on site and drop off. Drop of was quick and painless. Employees were helpful and quick.
Called these guys when the ice maker in our new house wasn’t working (rather it was spewing water out the back making a mess of itself). How silly did I feel when the technician told me it was just ice built up where the water falls into the tray. With a little steam he had me right as rain in no time.He didn’t mind at all that I was super curious to see how the ice maker worked and was happy to show me. Even though I feel silly about calling when a defrost would have solved my problem - I’m still very happy with the service provided.
Great experience. Friendly on the phone, prompt service, successful service on Samsung fridge with water pooling in the crisper drawer, very reasonable price. So glad we didnt attempt this ourselves. Also got good tips on what to watch for as the fridge ages, etc. Thank You.

I was sent to Kirch Appliance by my Electrolux extended warranty contract for a washing machine repair. Kirch was able to get me on their schedule for the next day, and was able to get my washer back up and running within 2 weeks. This was over the Christmas/New Years day holidays and required a part order. Both technicians that came to our house for diagnoses and repair were professional and polite.
Easy to get a replacement stove, fair price, the installers were prompt and courteous.
We bought a washer and dryer from Kirch Appliance and put them into cold storage because we were in the process of moving. Unfortunately it got cold the week they were in storage and there was water in the pumps for the washer which froze and cracked two pumps. I contacted them and they replaced both pumps under warranty at no cost to me even though it was totally my fault that they failed. I was fully expecting to pay to repair them, thats awesome customer service you dont find everywhere!
I was fully expecting Id be told there was nothing they could do with this 20+ year-old washing machine and that Id have to spring for a new one. But after a quick repair (at exactly the quoted price), it was repaired and working fine. I appreciated that they didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. After they left, I realized that the machine was actually bought (reconditioned) from Kirch, long before I bought the house--solid work!
A serviceman came to our home to inspect our oven, which wasnt heating properly and smelled like gas. He was very professional! He even worked quietly so as not to wake my sleeping children!! The problem was fixed within 15 minutes and he left the space very clean. We are very appreciative of their service and we will certainly call them again!
Kirch came by to replace a part in my brand new, just-installed Frigidaire Gallery gas range (purchased elsewhere in Madison). There was some confusion and headaches from Frigidaire in setting the appointment up, but Kirch, themselves, were really great. The Kirch person who took my appointment & info was awesome and had amazing follow-through. The serviceman was very professional, thoughtful and very patient as I asked him a series of questions before he left. While I am still dubious that Frigidaire may have passed me a lemon, at least I know that working with Kirch is pretty painless. Thanks for all you do, Kirch!

Not every service provider services Samsung. The service was efficient and effective. My problem was common and not too complex - a plugged drainage tube which meant water collected at the bottom of the fridge. But it was complex enough I could not have handled it myself . I’d definitely use them again.
Our LG dishwasher needed to be serviced due to some intermittent problems. The technician was prompt, efficient, and the visit was a success. Nice job!
We had a tech. come and inspect our fridge. We were fairly certain it was beyond repair but if the problem was only a sensor we wanted to know our options for repair. The tech. called ahead and arrived on a timely basis. He seemed knowledgeable and went right to work. He confirmed that a repair would be expensive and we asked him to tell us which brands of refrigerators he thought had the best track record for reliability. He suggested a few brands to avoid and a few he deemed as good choices. We were pleased with our experience.
I recently bought a used washer and dryer from Kirch and am very pleased. If buying new is too expensive and you dont trust Craigslist, go to Kirch. Great value, comes with a warranty, and really helpful service.
On-time! Explained what was wrong and showed me the bad part and explained what was causing our Samsung dryer to squeal - then replaced it. He was in and out pretty quickly and our dryer is running like new now! He was also patient with our big, curious dogs! Highly recommend

We needed a service repair appointment for a leak from our ice maker. someone came out the same day, at the appointed time and most importantly did a good job of diagnosing and correcting the problem.
Just bought a French door refrigerator from Kirch. We had a unique size requirement and they had a used refrigerator at an incredible price that would work for us. Bought it on a Friday and they will be delivering first thing Monday morning. We live in Portage and the delivery charge was still only $50 extra. 5 star rating for these guys all the way around!

If you area looking for someone to fix your appliance, you should start here. Refreshing to have a good old-fashion family run business that truly values their reputation in the industry. Get this.........I asked Kirch appliance to come out and take a look at my 6 year-old $2,600 Maytag refrigerator (that included a 5 year warranty) that simply quit working. Kirch made three separate in-home service calls trying different fixes before concluding that the fridge was not repairable or at least it would not be cost effective to invest an estimated $1,200 to have it repaired. It was the owners son Josh who made the third and final in-home service call. When I asked how much I owed him for service call(s), as well as the various electronic control panels they purchased as part of the repair, I was told nothing. Josh further stated that given that we were unable to repair your fridge and the inconvenience of having to go without for a week, there will be no charge. Unheard of in todays corporate big box store world. In the end, I did convince him to allow me to pay for at least one service call which he reluctantly accepted. Nicely played Kirch!

I needed a washer dryer set for my new apartment and had been stood-up by so many private sellers on facebook and Craigslist. Then a friend recommended Kirch. Im so HAPPY with my purchase! They were feiendly, knowledgeable, and quick from day of purchase to delivery and installation. For just around $600 I got a matching whirlpool set that looks almost new and work like a dream, delivery, AND installation. I will be buying all my used appliances from them going forward!!
I made an appointment to have a recently purchased Frigidaire fridge repaired under warranty. A week later, on the morning of the appointment, I got a voicemail from kirsch saying please call us back. I do, and they say that Frigidaire has changed their policy and I might have to contact them directly. The person I spoke with took my email and said they would contact me that day, while at work, and let me know for sure. Never got an email, never got a call. I called them the day after the appointment and someone confirmed the policy of call Frigidaire. I have no problem with their policy, but the lack of communication was very poor. I initially contacted them because I couldnt get through to Frigidaire, so I thought they were gonna be able to help me out. Instead a week later Im in the same position after rearranging my schedule for a no show. Weak.
Their technicians were timely and helpful but the business ownership is severely lacking customer service and professionalism. Attacking someone personally for a miscommunication and putting all the blame on the customer is how you ruin a Business. They do not work with the customer, they attack them on a personal level when there is an issue. Horrible customer service and I would never recommend them for just that issue.
An emergency MG&E vehicle with a fire truck had to come out TWICE because of the dangerously strong gas leaks from the Kirsch Appliance poorly refurbished gas stove and poor hookup!Ive purchased several refurnished appliances from other companies and have always had great results. I trusted Kirch and now it caused a very dangerous situation for my tenants...and Kirch refuses to pay the MG&E bill to cover poor refurbishing and installation issues!
The diagnosis of the problem with refrigerator went quickly, (a bad fan motor). A replacement motor was found in the truck and installed in about 30 minutes. Refrigerator works fine now.
Kirch Appliance came out to our home as a 3rd party technician vendor on behalf of Samsung warranty service work. Our service technician called in advance, was on time, was personable, fastidious, well informed and performed his service functions with quickly and with ease. He went over each step as he worked replacing/removing parts and gladly noted the reason for the replacement and/or his theory, was knowledgeable with our product and the Samsung brand, and the parts that he was removing/replacing with new, including the new replacement circuit board. This was by far one of the best 3rd party service technicians that we have every had the pleasure of working with to fix our warranty work. It was a pleasure to have this company to work with and we will not only use them in the future (as they also have sales, service and some used appliances), but will recommend them to others as individuals and as a potential vendor for income property appliances for repair/replacement. *Warranty service was for a newer Samsung refrigerator with defective ice maker, drain, main guts, and circuit board.
Our company purchased a dryer a few months ago. It was placed into one of our properties. It has already stopped working. While speaking to a Kirch employee, we were told they would not go out and service the dryer without charging us.Mind you our company has been faithful customers with Kirch Appliance for many years. In fact in over the past two years our company has spent several thousands of dollars at Kirch Appliance.The gal on the phone seemed annoyed that we were calling and did not show any concern as to making it right. Ive been a Kirch customer for over 10 years now. Ive replaced almost all of my major appliances with used ones from Kirch. Ive found Kirchs machines to be a good value, and I recommend the repair service, too. My most recent purchase was a washing machine; when our last one died, the service technician wa able to help us do a cost assessment of repair vs. replacement. We went to the showroom the next day to buy our next washer, and received a credit for the previous days service call fee. I appreciate Kirch -- I get good value and service that meets my budget.

Kirch recently did a recall repair on my washing machine. Good thing they had their act together because the manufacturer did not.
Bought 3 Samsung appliances from another store as part of a kitchen remodel. A couple of months after the installation, we had minor problems with all 3 appliances, which was disappointing. We called Samsung, who put us in touch with Kirch, who would do the warranty work. What was not disappointing was the service from Kirch Appliance, who was the authorized Samsung repair facility,. They were easy to work with. The office called to set up the appointment. The techs called before they got to my house, they called afterwards to relay what had been done. VERY professional, VERY courteous. Couldnt be happier with the way they handled the situations.

Very good value for the money
Our electric dryer heat went out and I set up an appointment with Kirch based on good Next Door recommendations and eastside Madison location. I called on a Thursday and first appt. was the next Monday. Andy G. called before arrival, checked it over, found bad high limit thermostat. He had the right part so fixed it, I paid with a CC and he was out the door. Parts-$39, labor-$30, service call-$82, Total $159.31. Worked for me. They do sell reconditioned appliances in the $250-$300 ranges.
Prompt service. Minimal disruption. Was sent via Samsung for warranty work on my refrigerator. Problem fixed.
As a do-it-yourselfer I was pleasantly surprised by Kirchs helpfulness and excellent customer service to a guy walking in off the street who asked for help. This is the place to go for those of you that can twist a screwdriver and make some of those simple appliance repairs yourself. Thanks to the gang at Kirch for getting my leaky old ice maker up and running again in no time!

Experience not good, but when youre buying used, I guess you get what you pay for. Dryer stopped working withing a week, they fixed it and it lasted for 3 months, now its dead. They had to replace the washer we bought from them too. It also sounds like they dont keep records of repairs on sold items. I just called to ask what they fixed on my machine and he said we lost our records...lol... Just not an good experience overall. We will be buying brand new machines from now on. Laundry aint noting to mess with...
