I came in to get my vaccine and the crew of pharmacy staff were incredible. Walgreens, you need to double, no, triple their pay right now. These gals have been working all hours giving vaccines on top of their regular work and being respectful professionals. The pharmacist herself was administering vaccine on top of her other work. These are our essential workers. Walgreens, take care of your staff. They are getting us through this pandemic and keeping us safe. Bless them all.

The pharmacy staff are reasonably pleasant in person but absolutely can’t be bothered over the phone. They do not have a customer service mindset and I will be moving to a different pharmacy even though the convenience of this location is so great.

Another one star review for this location. The lead told me that my medication for my cat was out of stock, but I could buy one twice the price. When asked if another location had it, she said “well are you worried about your car dying or saving money?”Absolutely unprofessional

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Always have had great experiences here, whether its a quick pop in or extended shopping trip. Keep up the great work!

A really nice Walgreens! But I don’t go often as I would like because there’s always a group of homeless men at the entrance who ask you for money and I feel guilty when I don’t have cash on me

Clean store and friendly staff. Manager Joel was knowledgeable when I required additional assistance. I will go out of my way to visit this location.

Would not recommend the pharmacy at this location. It’s very small, the line isn’t able to properly distanced & there is always a wait. I’ve had multiple issues with pharmacists not being able to answer questions about medications, or giving me unsure answers. The hours are also different then other locations in Madison & they aren’t open on Sundays. Aside from the pharmacy I haven’t had issues with the store

Won’t give a roll of quarters.I know this isn’t a bank, but almost any chain drug store will exchange a $10 for a roll of quarters. I’d understand if they were low, but this is a store policy. It would take them zero extra effort to stock quarter rolls

They have a lot of staff so the lines go quickly. It’s also very clean and they have a makeup consultant, which is nice.With its downtown location, the prices are noticeably higher than other Walgreens in town. So I usually only go to this location when in a pinch.

PHARMACY REVIEW:I am more than extremely satisfied with the high quality service provided by the Pharmacist and the Pharmacy-Technician. Not only were both of these two readily available, they were extremely proficient and efficient and prompt, courteous, and a pleasure to be with and to work together with. I came in and the Pharmacy-Technician greeted me with my prescription already in-hand, and the Pharmacy was right there ready to for anything including any needs that I may or may not have. And that high level of high quality service is not only phenomenal, but absolutely amazing!!!! These two are amazing!!!! It is clear that Jamie, Pharm. D. and her team are amazing!I only wish I get her Pharmacy-Techs name as well!!!! She is super talented and more than a quick pleasure/delight!!!!Kudos Walgreens for having this amazing team!!

Super convenient for those of us who work downtown and need something quickly like a card, a prescription, etc. Staff is always courteous and while there is sometimes a wait, its because others find the location equally as convenient. They staff does their best to move the line in an efficient manner.

Always get bothered by the homeless!! Never go to this location..

For Being directly downtown, everything is surprisingly quick and well maintained.. Even during lunch time, I can get in and out within minutes. Their pharmacy seems to be just as quick as any other place, even though there is a definite higher volume of traffic going through the store.My only complaint at this time is the smaller beverage categories than other stores. Its been heavily reduced to include things-people-can-eat-for-lunch-quickly things, which is fine for location, just a drag for Caffienehaullics such as myself

Best place on the square, hands down. People are always nice and very helpful. Seems to always need someone in the photo department though. I sure hope they find them soon.

The downtown Walgreens comes with its own Pharmacy, photo department and is bigger than its State Street sister store. The selection of wares, varieties is comparable to a standalone Walgreens store. Its convenient location on the Capitol Square means that it is easily accessible to Bus riders as well as students.Update (8/21/2018): This store has a FedEx OnSite branch, meaning drop-offs and deliveries can be made here as long as you have a label/etc.

The staff was fast and friendly. This Walgreens was very easy to use as a tourist.

Why post hours if you’re not going to follow them?

Everyone who works there is really friendly, plus the location is convenient.

Called the pharmacy. Was put on hold for 4 cycles in their system. Yeah. So they’re busy. Still irritating.
