I needed a new car battery and was able to get a new one installed same day. The tech did a test on the battery and determined I needed a new one and installed it with no issues. I also needed to replace a light on the exterior and he was able to find the replacement for me. Friendly staff, will continue using this store for future needs.

It is a nice new space and it is easier to get to them than the one direction on East Wash was before. Right now there are construction containers for the new business building in next door. This makes parking a bit of a challenge. But I got a space behind the building and the staff were very helpful answering my questions and recycling my used batteries.

Store assistant sold me lithium batteries as rechargeable, mentioning all lithium batteries can be recharged. Of course when I read the warning label later at home it warned me that the battery could explode if I tried to recharge it. Rather than trust this stores advice and end up with a house fire, I will just buy my batteries elsewhere next time. Couldnt give 0 stars, so 1 is what seems appropriate.

First-time buyer - now future return customer!I purchased an (AGM) Red Top Optima battery online and drove to the store for installation. Erin was the name the of the cashier and also the same person who installed my new battery. I was curious where my old battery was testing at, because several mechanics had tried to sell me new batteries in the past. Erin hooked up the old battery and tested it without any hesitation. The battery was in fact testing fine, BUT it had a loose terminal (Thanks, past mechanics ) that could have been causing the battery to have a poor reserve. I replaced/upgraded the battery anyway since I have a vehicle loaded with electronics. IMO, the battery was WELL WORTH THE $200, especially if is expected to last me 5+ years. I also shopped other places online, but Batteries Plus still had the best price (before coupon) and with installation/recycling to boot, it cant be beat.

Last night could have gone really bad. I came in for key fob replacement and programming. I worked with Erin and she was great. After programming, around close time, we discovered that my fob wasnt fully functional. I wasnt very happy but respectfully explained I would need this to be fully functional to be pleased with the service. In this day and age expressing concerns tends to offend some businesses. Erin actively listened to all my concerns and assured me she would do everything she can. This is was world class service. In the end the problem went away and I still have warranty if this changes. Fully satisfied customer!

I filled out the on-line form telling exactly what phone I had and what was wrong and scheduled an appointment to get it repaired at their store. WHen I got there the guy told me they didnt have the parts and no other store did either. What a waste of my time.

Was looking for a battery power supply for my Cpap. They were able to order it.

Spend over a week talking to a person to get the front of my phone fixed (glass screen). Confirmed it with the person working there about 3 times. Drove all the way there twice because the first day they said the guy called in sick. Then the second time I go there they tell me the price they quoted was for the back glass of the phone. Totally wasted hours on hours of my time because they dont know how to communicate. Worst experience I have ever had getting something fixed. Price difference was about $187, really dont know how they mess that up.

Was surprised to find out they did car key fobs, and at a fraction of the dealers price. Thought Id give them a try. The employee was quick and courteous, making the transaction impressively smooth. Hope to not have to do this again, but if I do I would use them again.

Great selection of batteries ... except not much of anything available in the small device sized NiCad rechargeable batteries. Plus they offer a number of handy battery powered lights and basic tools.

Ordered on-line and received email notification, ready for pick up, in 20 minutes. Arrived at the store and there was one customer in line before me. Batteries+ employee installed/replaced the factory 2012 JKU battery and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. Sure doesnt sound like a 5 year old battery when I turn the key!

Great service!My phone battery was draining very fast, after they check the phone (Galaxy S6) they say the battery need to be replaced. They told me theyll do it in about one hour and in one hour was ready. It has been 2 weeks since then and the phone is working perfectly fine!

I called an asked if they were able to replace a cell phone battery for me to which they said they could. They didnt have the battery in stock and made me pay up-front in order for them to order the battery. They said it would take three days to get. It took two weeks. Once it was finally in I drove an hour to there store only to sit there for an hour to have them tell me that they dont know how to install the cell phone battery. Ill never go there for anything again. What a joke!!!

I continue to be wowed by batteries plus every time I go. Today I needed a new car battery. Mine died. They install! It’s 15 degrees out today! My Volvo’s battery is in a weird place in the trunk. In a matter of minutes it was switched out by a batteries plus employee. I also learned the last person to install it, not batteries plus, did not vent it correctly. Their expertise is astounding. Their selection is incredible. I’m a customer for life. Wow!

Writing this review about the store and specifically, about sales associate Clinton. I stopped in four times to replace a bulb for an unusual fixture. My returns were because I didnt bring all the info needed for him to provide the right solution the first time. Each time Clinton worked with me to find a solution, and each time on my return he patiently, and always with a calm smile, greeted me and worked to narrow down a solution. I highly recommend this store for its convenience, inventory and knowledgeable staff.

He goes above and beyond for every customer; even with a lazy useless employee counter part that ignores everyone (that should be working, but seems to be on an endless break)...no complaints from Devon. The workers there were friendly and got straight to the point --but they also reassured me that my batteries would be properly recycled. This place doesnt only sell batteries; they also sell a wide variety of light bulbs! I examined the light bulb display myself and it looked great! [Two thumbs up!] But wait, theres more! This facility also provides the service of repairing damaged devices, i.e. mistreated technology, especially the most expensive thing in your hand. Went in for a battery for my car remote but it didnt work. They tried a new remote and had it programmed on the spot. Great service, just wish it was easier to get here...

Came in to have a battery replaced in a watch and they broke the watch where the face inside the watch jiggled. I took it back to have them fix it and they sent it out to have it fixed but it was never the same. No sorry or refund ever offered. I ended up throwing away the watch because it was not usable. Took in another watch to have the battery replaced and after a couple of days the watch worked only sometimes. Brought it in again explaining the problem and they tried to charge me again to replace the battery! I said no way and left and took it somewhere else. The other place I took it to found that the battery was placed inside the watch incorrectly. I swear these guys have no idea what they are doing when it comes to watches. Again no sorry or refund of money, just tried to charge me more!

The bulbs in my upstair hallway fixture burned out and I wanted to replace them. Checked Amazon. Couldnt find them. Called Home Depot, they didnt have them. Went to Ace Hardware, still nothing. Swung by Batteries Plus and Brian, the manager, checked and also couldnt find them. But instead of apologizing and sending me on my way, he did some digging and found another bulb that I could use interchangeably with my fixture. 5 stars and much appreciation for Brian!

I went to Batteries Plus to have the glass replaced on my iphone. The LCD screen worked fine and they verified this when I brought in the phone. Since they completed the repair, the LCD screen has developed bright spots and doesnt light up evenly. Ive had similar repairs performed by others in the past and never had this problem.

I ordered on-line and within half an hour my order was ready for pickup. It really worked pretty slick.

Erin, sorry if I spelled it wrong, was awesome and her customer service went above and beyond. I needed a car battery and with literally a minute to close she took the time to make sure I got the right one, needed a fancy smanchy one for my diva of a car. She did not for a second make me feel rushed or anything less than a valued customer! Stopped here four or more times for the same phone. First time to inquire, was told to come back the next day because the certified repairer was not in. Employees are rude and not personable. Second time, they kept my phone for two hours while it was supposedly being repaired. Third time to pick it up. I find out they never even had the part. And it wasnt fixed. So I go back this time to get it fixed. Part is in, certified repairer is in. Good to go. Phone came out fixed but has new screen because my original was broke in the process. Employees are still rude and made it seem like I was an inconvenience.Will not be returning.

THEY MESSED UP AND I LOVED IT!!! I make mistakes, you make mistakes, we ALL make mistakes. My wife is a nurse so she relies on her watch to give medications, take a pulse and much more. I took it in for the lifetime battery replacement. Returned it to my wife who then, like she always does, showered with it on. After she got out, we realized moisture in the watch. The employee who did the battery install hadnt screwed the back plate on tight enough. He was new and didnt want to over tighten it. Learning curve, no big deal. After contacting their customer service line I was then in direct contact with the general manager Jeff who took full ownership of the human error. Batteries Plus then had my wifes watch sent to a local repair shop, COMPLETELY fixing the issue all on their dime! Character should not be judged by our mistakes but rather how we make things right after the fact. Batteries Plus took ownership and for that their character is top notch! Thank you! I was in need of phone-screen repair on a Sunday when everyone else in town was closed. The two guys working were very helpful, knowledgeable and honest with me. They also fixed the phone that afternoon and called me back to tell me it was ready (when I was assuming Id pick it up Monday morning because they had a big workload). Sure Id be glad to support a local phone repair business but Batteries Plus came through beyond my expectations.

Wow! 5 minutes in and out for a battery swap on my fab. I’m impressed!

Pretty easy. Ordered online. Pulled up and they installed my battery. The tech was nice. It took a little while because it required some unconventional sockets, but it got done.

I ordered online and picked up in store to get the 10% discount. I was browsing the store while they retrieved the battery from the shelf for me. The staff was friendly, but gave me the wrong item (8 Ah instead of 9). Fortunately I noticed on the way out to my car and came back in for the correct one, which they quickly resolved.

Brought in my never repaired all Apple original Apple parts i phone in for new battery and screen. The guy broke my home button so they said they were going to replace the phone. I wasn’t that mad at first accidents happen . But then they ordered me a “refurbished” phone from eBay and I’m assuming the charging dock was super loose only 1 out of every 5 chargers would work . Maybe it wasn’t a different problem I don’t know anyways This sucked a lot because who knows what was refurbished on the phone I felt like they didnt replace my phone with one in the “same condition” like I was promised. John the manager refused to give me any other managers phone number. And explained to me in the most I don’t care monotone voice I’ve ever herd . I still have the crappy phone, thank you batteries plus!

Ordered the battery as described on-line for my Galaxy S3 phone. Got an immediate response that it was ready for pick up. Headed to the store and while they still had to get it off the rack for me, it only took a few seconds. The clerk offered to put it in for me assuring me it would have enough power to go for awhile. Ironically, their on-line and inventory records showed the wrong battery for that phone. So he quickly switched it out for the right one and, I assume, corrected their in-house records. Was glad I let him put it in or I would have gotten all the way home with the wrong battery. As it is, Im a happy camper.

My iPhone 6 battery died last night and wouldnt charge. the cost for a iPhone 6 battery replacement was listed right on the website ($69.99). Made an appointment online and printed my confirmation for a $10 discount with online scheduling. The next day they got me in right away, even though I was a little early, and replaced the battery in 15 min flat! I would definitely recommend for replacement batteries!Returned today (4/4/18) to address another issue with my iPhone that they previously said they could fix for me and I’m disappointed. The speakerphone mic has not been functioning so I need to use the earbud mic so people can hear me. Video recording produces only static sound too. They said they repaired the microphone attached to the camera (a more expensive repair than the website microphone quote). Problem still not repaired. I wish they would have waited for me to return to consult me on the repair change!

Paid for my battery online the night before I picked it up, which went VERY well, what I was disappointed with was the “customer service” while at the store. The clerk mumbled EVERYTHING he said and gave off a vibe that he did not want to be there. I don’t hold that against him, it’s not uncommon to not like one’s job, but, FAKE IT!! In the end, he never even said thank you, which is the minimum I would expect, when I make ANY purchase from ANY retailer. In the future when I need a battery, I’ll consider Batteries+Bulbs but certainly won’t be returning to the East Washington Ave location in Madison, WI.

Went in to have the battery replaced on my watch. From the outside I was not sure about getting my Fossil watch fixed there as the outward appearance leaves some to be desired; however, the entire process was done in less than 5 minutes, the water resistance is still in place, and the whole thing only cost 10$! Well worth taking my business here.

Let me begin by saying its very rare for me not to have a positive outlook. That said, Im going to be less than kind, but honest, about my customer experience. It began by walking into the store and seeing three employees there having an intense conversation about something on their pc. All good, except no one acknowledged I was there, and I waited patiently. I might expect a delayed acknowledgment for a minute, maybe two, however this went on for about five, and if I really didnt need what I came there for, I likely would have walked out and gone elsewhere. Furthermore, when someone finally did notice I was there waiting, I had to repeat what I needed three times over. That was kind of over the top, when the attendant was so inattentive by the time I did get attention, that what I was saying was so irrelevant I had to say it over, and then, once again.This business of Batteries Plus isnt rocket science material. The service I received was quite under par from the norm, and I will most certainly think twice and then again, before I consider revisiting.
