Recently went to the Graphite store near McFarland. Thought Apple ultimately denied the claim, the store staff was amazing. They provided great communication and seemed to try their best to get my computer repair covered. Overall great experience.

Ive never made a better decision about affiliating with a technology firm that really cares about making my life easier and is so helpful with my computer related problems and frustrations. I recently purchased a new computer at Graphite and they transferred all my data and programs perfectly and helped me get used to the computers new features. 5/5. Been having sound issues with my AirPods for months. Graphite resolved the issue within minutes and didn’t even charge me for cleaning them. Best tech support experience in my lifetime, will be sure to come back for any future issues.

I was locked out of my Iphone 11 Pro and Apple Care gave me Graphites address and time of 6:40PM to help me fix the phone six days after the initial call. I went on 12/3/20 the day that Apple Care gave me and the store closed at 5PM, but Alex Mahnke was still working on some things. Alex helped me get back into my phone even after the store had closed! I was AMAZED by his attitude and professionalism to help me despite being closed. Apple messed up with the location and time but Alex still took care of me! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALEX!He definitely went out of his way to help me. A+++ service.

Alex and Alan did an outstanding job replacing the worn out hard drive in my 2015 Imac. They walked thru the options, set realistic expectations, including the possibility of things not working out and then made the repair in 3 short days. The Imac now hums like a new high class Apple product. Graphite is awesom3!. I recommend them without hesitation.

Very pleased with the service I received - staff was professional, knowledgable and friendly. All communication via phone or in person was informative and helpful. I dropped my computer off on Monday and it was repaired and ready by Wednesday. I highly recommend Graphite!!

Having problems with my new MacBook Pro since purchase in March. Contacted Apple Support with minimal help--finally they directed me to Graphite. I didnt know they existed but now I know where I will go for any Apple product needs. They didnt try to explain away issues -instead checked the computer and explained potential issues. One issue stumped them as it has stumped Apple and other repair services over the years but they did tell me what I could do to try and prevent. Highly recommend!

I recently made an appointment through Graphites website during COVID stay at home order. I showed up to the appointment on time and as I was walking into the store I saw an employee gesturing at me to not enter the store. I had my child with me and the weather was quite cold that day so I couldnt wait outside safely. I opened the door to find the employee starting to yell at me to immediately close the door and they were only open by appointment only. I explained I have an appointment but there was already someone in the store getting help. The employee told me that can only have one customer in the store at one time. This seemed odd since they had 3 employees working (one of which was playing games on his phone).I was very disappointed in this service interaction with the staff at the University ave location. I have also reported this situation to Apple and recommended Graphite receive a lower rating on Apples website. Service is an important part of what this business offers and I was quite disappointed. Ill be waiting to repair my phone now until Apple opens their stores.

Greg was fantastic to work with from the start. I did a lot of shopping around before deciding who to trust with repairing my MacBook. Greg was patient and kind with all of my questions. He was speedy to respond and he did a great job of helping to explain things. Other businesses I reached out to were rude, condescending, and seemed uneducated about the particular issue I was dealing with. Not only is it comforting to work with an Apple Authorized shop, but working with a local business has huge perks as well. Apple and Best Buy both said they would need to ship off my computer for the repairs and it would be gone for about a week. Greg discovered that the Apple store misdiagnosed my issue, ordered a part, and had it repaired the next day... the day before a long holiday weekend. I cannot well-enough express how thankful I am to have decided to work with Graphite and I highly HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs help with Apple products. Hands-down, some of the best service I have EVER received.

I am going back to Graphite this week. The technicians are excellent and I do not have to wait in long lines. They explain things . Tech tries to extend the life of your computer. I have a desktop from 2009 and it runs beautifully. No problems at all.

Okay, for the SECOND TIME I stopped in to Graphite with a quick question about my iPhone and they took a look and adjusted it FOR FREE!!!I recently had an issue with the display on my Mac Book Pro and they did the same thing: they looked at it and fixed it FOR FREE!!!How can you begin to argue with that level of service?All I can say is this: if you have or need an Apple product or service on an Apple product, this is the place to go.

I just wanted to let you both know about the great experience I had today at Graphite East. This is the 2nd time I’ve been there personally and both of the visits have been excellent!I have been without a phone all week after leaving Sunday night on a business trip to Mexico. My phone suddenly stopped working on the plane. After arriving home very early this morning, I went on the Apple website to set up an appointment and was able to get into Graphite East at 3pm today. I was greeted right away by a sales clerk who informed the service dept that I was there. Your service dept checked me in right away, diagnosed the problem, researched the warranty and repaired the problem under warranty within 45 min. I could not be happier with the speed and quality of service. Please pass along my thanks to the service dept for a job well done and keep up the good work!

Update to the update: their CEO reached out again and appeared to be sincere in his apology. Perhaps a misinterpretation of the $25 on my part. I increased to 4 stars because their repair/service department really is great.Update to my review: they reached out and apologized, however continued to let me know that they have a small profit margin. They then offered me $25 to give them a 5 star review. Yikes! As one of my followers said, “are they more concerned about improving the perception of integrity than integrity itself?”I did increase my review to 3 because they do have a great service department. You don’t need to wait nearly as long as you would at the Apple Store. That said, the manager at the westside location was a total jerk and their CEO spent more time explaining their profit margin than apologizing. Bribing me was the cherry on top, so to speak. So no, I am not taking their money and have no plans on purchasing at their store. Will I take my computer in to be repaired again? Perhaps. First I will check elsewhere though.Difficult review to give. They are very helpful for fixing problems with the computer but they do not honor their coupons. Received a $5 off of $5 coupon for taking a survey after having my computer fixed. Purchased a $9 item. They said their profit margin is too low on that item to honor their coupon. That’s just bad business

Christian helped me out buying a new Macbook Pro and he was very knowledgable with everything about it. If people want to keep these local stores open....you need to buy from them. Great advice, great service, Thanks Bob! (I stopped in for a thunderbolt to FW800 adaptor, and got some advice on data backup tasks. Apple wants to get rid of all the ports on our laptops and now we have to run around with a bag full of docks, hubs, ports, adapters, and a pile of god forsaken wires just to access the drives, speakers, & displays we STILL NEED to get WORK DONE from our tiny little high glare mac laptops.)

I’ve been doing business with Graphite for at least six years, and theyve ALWAYS come thru for me. Whether I’ve needed a new computer, a data-transfer, a hardware diagnosis, a repair, or an emergency visit to my home office, the folks at Graphite have consistently given me A+ service. They’ve been available when I needed them, prompt and effective in fixing the problem or delivering the goods, and always a pleasure to work with.By my lights, there is no better authorized Mac shop in Madison. Since my “cottage industry” depends the internet, I feel very lucky that Graphite is in town.P.S.: I recently had a serious connectivity problem, and when one of the Graphite folks discovered that the issue was only partly rooted in my router, he helped me deal with Spectrum, where the problem originated. That’s what I call going above and beyond the call of duty!
