I think everything will end well in the end but I was somewhat concerned after I placed my order that I got no confirmation email. I waited a day and when I still had received nothing I looked on my bank transactions to make sure the order had for sure went thru. When I seen that it had posted I called Get Culture to ask when my order would ship out. No answer. Left a message and waited a day. Nothing. Called back the next day. No answer. Left a message. No call back. Finally called a week after I placed the order and got someone on the phone who said one piece had been back ordered but they had shipped it out yesterday. Ok, great. Please send an email with tracking so I can see when it is set to arrive. Sure no problem. EXCEPT this… no email until the NEXT morning. Email says that the package just shipped this morning ( not two days ago) and that it will be Friday before it arrives.Now for those of you that have it this far, until this point I just sound like a grouch because it is taking a week and a half to receive something that clearly says it will take between 2-7 days to get it. In all reality they almost got it out in the set time. The thing that grinds my gears is that I was never appraised of any of this. Judging from clear over here in South Dakota it would appear as a very sloppy PR/ customer service related company but hey, everyone can just blame it all on the all mighty virus I suppose.Anyways, thanks for listening and please tune in for my next Episode 002 within a week of my next order from Get Culture when they still fail to properly communicate with their customers. As this was my first order with them I can imagine i will be tempted to take my smidgenly business elsewheres.Two stars because a single star is a very low rating and I did enjoy using their website. That’s gotta be worth something.Maybe I’m just grumpy because I want to get stuck into some cheese making but instead here I sit waiting for my supplies.Later
