I have more than 5 years experience riding, (on average 100 plus miles a week) When looking for a bike, most people naturally look exclusively at price. Buying a bicycle is about service. Advanced Cycle, has fantastic employees. Laz, Juan, Erik, (and there’s a few more), take care of the client. Service after the sale is the most important component when choosing a bike/bike shop. The way they take care of the client/client’s bike, truly sets them apart from every other bike shop I’ve ever been to. I refer all my clients to them, andI simply can’t give Advanced Cycle a higher recommendation.

No doubt these guys have good bikes and mechanics, but theyre too hungry to provide good service.I stopped in to top off my front suspension, and the first guy said they had a pump. Then he asked the other guy if he could help me. He said he didnt have a pump. First guy said what happened to it. Second guy said it needs a seal. I have one on order.What kind of shop is this, no pump? I think he didnt want to help a customer unless hes buying something.

His customer service is really good, this is the place where you need to come when you need to get your bike fix by someone that knows a lot about a bikes. This company deserves more than a 5 stars. Definitely coming back and i will send people over to this store.

Ive been here nere twice. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Much easier to deal with than some of the larger shops. Very friendly, neighborhood vibe. Ill be back!!!

Came in with a pretty obscure braking problem on my mountain bike. The staff (Eric and Juan) were able to diagnose the issue and get a warranty part on the way. The shops I visited before could not figure out what was happening with my brakes. So I am beyond satisfied with the service I received here.

Had to shorten (cut) my Steerer Tube.....they were majorly backed up, but fitted me in. Came back a few hours later, they did the job perfectly.

Went there to get a couple of bikes fixed. Eric, the mechanic, greeted us with utmost respect and professionalism. The main reason I went here was because one of my friends from high school was the manager. I trusted he would get things done... and well, he did! So much respect to my boy Juan C for handling us and helping us save some money during these trying times. If you want your old bike to feel like new, COME HERE!

I bought 2 bikes from them and various gear in the past year plus regular maintenance done. Each time Juan has been great. They are all very knowledgeable, professional and extremely nice. I would strongly recommend the shop and I will certainly be back!

This is a fantastic shop! They have everything you need for cycling and have outstanding customer service. I go out of my way to purchase items from them that I could easily get online. Their pricing is fair and they never try to “up-sell” you. They outfit you with whatever it is you need for your budget.

I have used this shop several times and they have always been courteous and polite. Now, I have taken my bike in for. third time for the same problem. they told me it would be ready on Monday afternoon, so I called Monday afternoon and they said it’s not ready. I politely reminded them that they told me it would be ready. They said I could just come pick up and take it somewhere else. Unbelievable, they want me to take my bike somewhere else to fix a problem that they probably caused. Very rude and unprofessional.

Wonderful place! My bikes chain kept skipping and wouldnt stay on after I manually moved it back. They are super friendly, had all the answers to all the questions that I asked we figured out Id also need to have replaced my back tire because it had worn down so much. A day later I get it back from them and perfect condition everything is working beautifully and I was actually able to ride my bike from their store back to my apartment so which is really nice!! So A++ definitely recommend

Fantastic!!! I’m new to biking and recently purchased a used bike off a local internet listing. Unfortunately I ran into a tire issue with the bike along with needing to fix some tires on a bike trailer. I found and called Advanced Cycles on a whim and they easily answered my questions over the phone and said they could accommodate me the same day. Not only were they completely helpful and friendly, but it turned out my tire issues were simply air related (I’m a newbie) so they didn’t even charge me! Completely honest and so refreshing! Definitely will be coming back for any needs in the future! I highly recommend this friendly and local bike shop, their service is awesome!

These guys totally rock! Within one day, they had custom fabricated a derailleur hanger that I could not find anywhere and had me back on the road. This is truly a shop you can trust with your bike.

Everything on the bikes was fixed perfectly and the price was reasonable. Also the guy helped me put the bikes on my car bike rack.

Absolutely the worst bike shop in town. Owner agreed to pack a very valuable bike and ship it. The bike was basically tossed in a box and got ruined during shipping. Owner refused to take any ownership for his carelessness and tried to blame FedEx when clearly it was not packed correctly. Then had no common sense to insure a $6000 bike . I will be taking them to court for there poor business practices.

I went into Advance Cycles II (Maitland address) to help with a pedal that had nearly fallen off. Ive only been cycling for a few months and I didnt have a torque wrench to put it back properly. Within five minutes, one of their employees (I forgot his name) showed me exactly how tight it should be, got it back on properly and didnt charge me a cent.I ended up bringing my bike in the next weekend for their full service and got it back looking brand new (I got caught in the rain a couple times and didnt clean it properly). After their customer service experience, I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Great place. Not always the cheapest, but high quality stuff and knowledgeable people make it worth the visit. I always end up spending more than what I expected there, but thats a good thing. They show me things that I didnt know I needed. And lifetime free labor on the bike I bought from them is nice.

Recently bought a bike via Amazon that did not come pre-assembled. After calling around a few local bike shops to inquire about pricing and turnaround time to build the bike, I decided to settle on Advanced Cycles. From the very get go they had the best customer service, the fairest prices and the quickest turnaround. One of the staff members even helped me assemble and set up a bike rack for my car. I will definitely be making this my go to store for any future cycling purchases

Great service and good prices. I called to have them look at my flat back tire and was surprised to hear it was just $6 for the repair/labor and $6 for the part. I brought it in and even though it turned out to be more than just a flat the prices remained reasonable and he didnt charge me for the labor. Everyone was friendly and the guy who was working kept me up to date on what he was doing and how long it would take. Finally there is a good bike shop in the Maitland area that you can rely on. Any bike needs in the future Ill go to Advanced Cycles.
