Went with my brother ready to buy a boat with cash for a down payment but unfortunately the salesman who took 30 minutes to even greet us had no intention on leaving his office to show us the boats outside and basically sent us on our way telling my brother to go to his bank, have them call him and come back with the money. He never took the time to educate us nor show us anything on the lot, even though my brother told him EXACTLY what he was looking for. He kept pointing to locations outside saying they this boat might work out that boat be better, but never took the time to go any further. Upon leaving the lot my brother was pretty upset, an army veteran treated like he was wasting the sandmans time, he vowed to never buy anything from this place. Very poor customer service.
Extremely Disappointed with the product and the service department. I bought a 2001 Maverick with a 2000 70hp Yamaha, obviously used, from this dealer. Had it for 6 Months and the motor began overheating and not flushing. I tried to get in touch with service department for a few months to set up a service appointment got no response back to schedule an appointment after 5 or 6 attempts. Finally took it to a mechanic I know and it turns out the entire cooling channels and cylinder head was SOLID with salt and corrosion. The motor is corroded severely and it has cost me near $2500 to repair. I should have checked the motor more thoroughly with my own mechanic and that was my fault, but to protect anyone out there who is looking at buying her TRIPLE CHECK THE MOTOR BEFORE YOU BUY IT FROM THIS DEALER.
Stopped in today to see about getting my Yamaha motor serviced. Service manager was out so Im waiting to hear back about a timeline. Both guys I saw were helpful. I asked about trailer tires, the guy in the service department(wish I caught his name) jumped on it and helped me find tires with the little info I gave him. Picked up Yamalube(cant find it anywhere else), perused around the shop then was on my merry way. First impression of CFM was a great one. Ill update after the motor service.
People say an honest mechanic doesnt exist. Theyre wrong. Gordon and the team took my boat in, made less repairs than originality anticipated, and now it runs better than ever. Hit 43 mph in my 19 Century with a 1999 -115 yamaha. I never got above 35 before they hooked it up. Thanks guys!!!
I called to see if they had any new Yamaha boats today at 4:45 The salesman replied no. So then I asked if he would be getting any in? He said no. I asked where I could buy one and he hung up on me. These were simple questions since I spent all day at the Jax Boat Show and found nothing at all. I would have planned to go there tomorrow if he wasn’t so rude. Geeez
I had been looking for a particular boat for several weeks without success. One dealer told me he could get one in two months and wanted a 50 percent deposit which was ridiculous. I saw on the internet that CFM had a similar boat so I called and talked to Allen. He told me he had the original boat that I wanted coming in that same day and he would send me pics and for me to confirm if I wanted it. I was thinking, yeah right.Bait and switch coming. Nope. Allen sent the pics as promised. The only thing that he asked was to be able to provide the motor. That was entirely reasonable and the price was very fair. The whole time I am thinking this is too easy. Several days later I drove six hours to get the boat. Allen showed up on time(early) and less than hour later I was driving home with my boat. The whole process was exceptional.
The service I received at this place was beyond bad. The service manager seems to be a nice guy who works for a horrible owner. If he answers the phone be prepared to be treated like dirt. I think because he has been in business for so long that he can say whatever he wants to the customers. I have encouraged all my friends with Yamaha outboards to stay away from this place
Just called them on the phone. Sales person that answered in my opinion was rude. At the get go rudely corrected my pronunciation of Gheenoe. Felt like he could not wait to get me off the phone. If I have drive 3 hours I will definitely purchase from somewhere else.
Doing business with CFM has been a great experience as a first time boat buyer. Sales Manager, Allen, is extremely helpful and responsive. He helped throughout the process and open to all questions. Service Manager, Gordon, is an expert that always makes time to answer questions and provide best practices. Any small issues that arise they have both helped to resolve quickly. Many of the items they didnt have to do, but their customer service is top notch.
Great customer service. Excellent parts selection. Thanks guys.
Great place! Allen had my boat repowered in 2 and a half days and lake tested. Professional and fast and made sure everything was complete before I left the shop!
Is it me or is general politeness officially just a thing of the past. There were 10 other ways this should have gone.Popped in today to ask for advice regarding extracting a frozen carburetor jet. Heavy sighs, the pause and slow push away from desk, “you mucked it up, you’re leaking gas on countertop” (they were not smiling and I quickly wiped the drop of WD40 off theIt vinyl desk pad with my finger.). It was just that general- we can’t be bothered by you- tone. “It’s frozen.” (Yep, that’s why we “mucked it up” remember?) No advice on how to extract it. These guys were either both having a really bad day or...I said thank you (for sending me to Boatwrench, inc.) and apologized for taking up their time.
Allen is very helpful. He was able to put together a great setup for me at a fair price. Even threw in a push pole and a rebate on the motor. Will definitely come back for the next boat.
Very rude and disrespectful when I called to see if they had a part I was looking for. It was a 45min drive so it was easier to call an check prices. But was I wrong. If there was a way for a zero star they would have gotten it.
I’m writing this as I am standing in the parts department. 2 men working behind the desk helping one guy search for a part for his boat. I’ve been standing here 10 min just wanting to purchase one item for my boat. It would take 3 min to check me out.. they can’t find a part for this guy and have no idea why they keep ignoring me a paying customer to get this guy when they have no clue what he is looking for.. this is piss pour customers services. If I didn’t need this part right now I would walk out. They barely even spoke to me to say they will be right with me. Another women walks in and they barely acknowledge her.. if I could give zero stars right now I would..
Took my 2014 ranger in to cfm after a pretty good wreck ( got rear ended at a red light ) . The boat and trailer suffered several thousands in damages . Gordon and his techs fixed everything, quick, clean and with a caring attention to detail . Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great service and repairs . Thanks again Gordon !
Talked to Allen seemed like a good guy, not pushy just straight up.
These people are great! They tell you what they are going to do then do it right. Im now a loyal customer and wouldnt take my boat anyplace else for service.
They saved me a trip to pick up a part somewhere in Titusville
Awesome place to be. Great people!
Very professional, knowledgeable, proficient, personable, and helpful. Allen was great and would do business with you again.
Gordon and Allen are wonderful caring people. They sold my open fisherman in a week. Great service, great advice. Over 10 years working with them.
Allen is the man. I had been looking for a used Mako flats boat for months. Allen had the boat I wanted, negotiated with the seller and got me the deal I wanted. They even went through the entire boat and fixed a few issues before I can pick it up. Very helpful service and they have a TON of boats for sale.
A great dealership....very friendly and down-to-earth staff. Gordon in the service department is always helpful. 5 star dealership rating from Yamaha.....5 star rating from me!
Bought a propeller for my boat there. The guys in the parts dept. sold me what I needed and were extremely helpful. Couldnt have expected a better experience.
Awsome place to do business with.
Awesome
The best parts department I have ever worked with.Helped with every aspect of my boat rebuild.Very knowledgeable and helpful to the end>Thanks Gordon and John
Just dropped in to price some control cables and a prop. I just pucked up a nissan ns30 tgat needs a few things. The fella in the store would not give me the time of day, said he only does Yamaha. Control cables cs3300 and 10 spline prop, as well as a feul tank are fairly generic. As I was leaving i noticed. A Tomahtsu (SP) in the lot. This and nissan are synonymous with each other. Perhaps i was wearing the wrong colored shirt. Was ready to drop a couple bills down for generic parts. Went into the sales office to adk about a new motor, no one in the office.
Rick is a top notch mechanic, who knows how to take care of your engine.
Gordon an John know Yamaha parts really good
Good customer service, definitely bring an umbrella for shade.
Knowledgeable staff and fair price
Didnt have enough lobster to sale...
HORRIBLE customer service and knowledge-less
Jerks in the parts department. Very unfriendly and unaccommodating.
Its a boating place who doesnt doesnt like boats LOL
