For my birthday, I received a very special surprise from Maitland Chocolate Factory, and it was so unexpected! I had a knock on my door, and when I came down, I opened the door to a delivery guy, giving me balloons and a box of chocolate truffles. In my surprise and excitement, I completely forgot my mask - I’m so sorry, delivery dude! I thanked him, but asked him to leave it on the ground and gave him some distance. The chocolate truffles were so beautiful, that I didn’t even want to eat them! I received a lovely message and note from my friend who purchased them for me. My mother, sister, and I shared the truffles together and they were delicious, and had wonderful variety. I will definitely keep Maitland Chocolate Factory in mind for future gift-giving and special occasions! Thank you! Sorry again, delivery dude!

Placed an order of baskets for my niece and nephews upcoming birthday and when I went in to pick it up I was blown away by the creavity! Stopped in today taking a friend home from work. We both had separate difficult days from work so we originally were going to get some Italian ice from the place next door, but I saw this chocolate place and just knew I had to go in and wow, I was extremely glad that I did! The selections are amazing and made fresh with welcoming and friendly service! Absolutely loved the dipped strawberries and the fudge we got.I never knew this place existed until today but it’s definitely going to be a new favorite

I stopped by today while walking around meeting members of the community. The owner Vivian is extremely pleasant and friendly. The smell in the store is intoxicating and I ended up purchasing some turtles and chocolate covered almost, both dark.They are fantastic. You can tell they are totally fresh, smooth, and the dark is very pleasant.I will definitely be returning and will not be purchasing any big box types in the future.

I wish I could give them a 0 rating, I’m a big believer in investing in small businesses because of the quality of work and the way your are treated, never again, I prefer to pay the higher amount and use someone like Edible Arrangements or Sharris Berries, I never received my order, had to call and cancel it kept getting told it would be there by noon and then when I call they say between 2-4 and the last time I called it was between 4-6 unexceptionable, I understand things happen but this is just too much my day doesn’t revolve waiting on an order for something that was suppose to arrive hrs earlier, just a disappointing experience!! Pls Steer Away from this place !!!

My husband and I first experienced chocolates from Maitland Chocolate Factory at an event at Lakeridge Winery. The chocolate was decadent! We made our first visit to the store in Maitland earlier this week. We absolutely loved the sugar-free items, and will definitely visit again!

We stopped in there a week ago looking for frozen chocolate covered bananas but the freezer was broken so they didnt have any. This time even though it wasnt the daily special she had two waiting for us and she sold them to us at a good discount.

A hidden gem for sure! Their cake truffles are incredible! My favorite is their champagne truffle, a perfect blend of dark ganache and sweetness in the center, absolutely delicious! They even let you make a custom order by writing on chocolate or making a certain mold of chocolate. There are really endless possibilities with this place! From the presentation to the taste, I love maitland chocolate factory! And don’t forget to ask for a free sample! :)

Best Chocolates in Orlando! My company has been doing business with Maitland Chocolates for years and its always been great friendly service.

Let me first start out by saying that the staff is very friendly and welcoming, this rating and review is strictly based off of value and quality, My wife and I went in to purchase some homemade chocolate for Easter and was very surprised and how extremely high priced their selection in. We bought a medium sized milk chocolate bunny, a medium sized peanut butter filled egg(which had very little peanut butter in it and infact it was just peanuts mixed in with chocolate on the inside, not what you would expect) and a small box of assorted chocolates (no more than 10 chocolates) the total for these items was $43 and the quality wasnt that exceptional, definitely not worth the cost. There are certainly better options in the area for homemade and specialty candy/chocolate. Even if money wasnt an issue you could certainly find better quality. The reason Im leaving a 2 star opposed to a 1 star is again the staff was extremely kind.
