Turned away our business because we didn’t have a prescription on us. Said we can’t touch any glasses because they didn’t want to clean them and that would require them to do work. Great business tactic!
Optometrist was very friendly and professional. Staff at the desk were pushing frames like used car salespeople, and told me that I wouldnt be able to purchase frames for another year if I didnt buy them within 20 days, which is just a lie. I was handed frame after frame despite saying I didnt want to buy any, and felt like I was greatly inconveniencing the floor staff when I said I just wanted my paperwork and would come back another time to buy frames (I will not).Would recommend going for eye exams, just be sure to sneak past the front desk.
They were all wonderful..from the woman that checked me in/out..and the doctor. Really friendly and not pushy when picking out frames. All together an A+ experience
The location is convenient with flexible hours. They have nice collection with wide range of prices that fit everyone. Caysie was highly professional and informative. She helped me find the perfect fit for my face. They offer one month free return/exchange. Highly recommend and definitely come back again.
My husband and I had eye exams this afternoon. The doctor is the best! Very nice and very efficient. However, the staff service is the worst. They are really slow, and looks like too angry. Vikie and Crystal.... Their attitude was so... un-polite, making we feel unwelcome. I didnt have time to find the glasses frame, but they keep asking why I dont want to use my insurance for the frame. Crystal said she doesnt know whether the insurance can be applied if I come back a couple of months later for frames. I dont think this is her business, and I dont feel she asked the question because of being considerate. Really rude! And if you want to clarify anything, her attitude just told Ive already said that, didnt you hear? I dont care what she had for the day, we are not coming for this!Actually, we shouldnt make appointments there at the beginning point. The first time we went to this store was to make the appointment. After making the appointment, we walked around the store and wanted to check glass frames. Vickie said we cannot check the frames until the day we have the appointment... We didnt say anything, just left... Not recommend at all!
Casey Caysie, has an eye for selecting a great pair of glasses. More importantly she has awesome customer service skills. Not only was she warm and welcoming, but she was very patient and helpful in assisting me to find the perfect frame. She is an asset to that store. Thanks Casey!!
Have been trying to make an appointment with a robot and she keeps Messi g up my name. Then I texted some virtual person who couldn’t help me at all. I guess I need to find a new eye place
Very poor and slow service with no calls/messages/emails they promised to update me even when my glasses were ready to pick up. Eventually I had to call them to check the order status and it took me almost one month to finally get my glasses. And they don’t even provide glasses cloth...Definitely never gonna go back.
I usually go to the one on 100 state street in Boston. My experience there was very good I just booked an appointment for February I really wanted to see my original doctor Emma chu she’s the best and very nice and she’s quick and thorough! but looks like she booked out until March! Which makes me sad..I don’t like how’s there a number to call yet no one is available or answers the phone which is crazy for optometrist...that’s why I’m giving it one star because you can’t get a hold of anyone. However I’d give it 3 to 4 stars for my experience with vision works hopefully the experience I had in Boston on state st (which apparently is permanently closed) will be the same at this malden location ... also the only reason I’m continuing to go with vision works and at this specific location is because of dr Emma chu and the experience I had.
This location is great! I used to go to a different Visionworks but since moved and now will be coming here. They were very quick to obtain my information from the other store and further assist me in getting a new pair of glasses. Heather was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and very engaged during our interaction. I am excited to have this be my local store!
Very accommodating & friendly business. I ripped my last pair of contacts days before vacation. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and thoughtful. And the doctor was courteous and professional. Very pleased with my whole experience.
I used this location a few years ago and was less than satisfied with the service. I swore I would never go back. But, after hearing they were under new management I decided to give them a second shot. I’m glad I did. The service this time around was incredible. They were helpful and accommodating. It clearly shows the previous manager didn’t care. Kudos to the new manager! You have earned my trust.
I had such a great experience at this location. They checked me in and out quickly. When i picked up my glasses they offered me everything i need. The staff was NICE, KIND, and so HELPFUL! I am not one to leave reviews, but this was worth it.
Everyone else I worked with was extremely nice, especially the eye doctor who examined my eyes. Then it came down to actually purchasing my glasses and Ms. Bona decided to be quite rude. The attitude was very unnecessary and it made me feel unwelcome. I would’ve appreciated it if she would mind her own business whilst discussing with my father about a concern that I had. Everyone else was tremendous but, she could use a little, and by a little I mean a lot, of help with her customer service.
Love this place. Great experience! New management is doing a great job. There is a new girl there, Carla I think is her name, she greets you with a big smile. Highly recommend going there.
They are awesome! Bought my second pair of glasses with them and I’m inlove 😊. Also decided to bring in my first pair of glasses for a quick fix and they were able to help me out in seconds. I was going to buy a case for my glasses but instead they gave me an extra case on them. Sherri was very helpful and amazing.
Great customer service and attention to what my needs were. Large selection of frames in which I was surprised that even the cheaper brands looked very appealing.Would recommend this.

Store is so clean, all associates are very friendly and knowledgable about frames, selling and contacts. They hold doors open, and are always smiling. Very nice visiting there!
I just recently purchased prescription sunglasses at this location. I was very satisfied with the service. I worked with 2 different ladies. I forget the name of one, but the other was Karla. I loved that I got a discount for being a AAA member.
I visited Visionworks today and had a great experience. Heather was wonderful and took her time with me. She couldnt fix my frames but fit my lenses into new frames and they look like new. I would go back. By the way, I never give anyone a 5 out of 5! lol
Lost my job and couldnt attend the follow up contact appointment, just got off the phone with the woman at the front desk who wanted to charge me for a completely new appointment, even though my prescription is still valid... Shady and underhanded. Wont be returning, and I wouldnt recommend it.
Went to the store today was greeted by Vicky, who turned out to be the most unwelcoming and unhelpful staff. V: how can i help you. Me: Im looking to get a new pair of glasses, how do I go about to do that. V: doctors are at lunch now. And she just stopped there. So i went a head a asked another question. Me: I also want to know if my insurance has any coverage here. V: the doctors are at lunch now you wont be able to see them now. Me: when will they be back. V: they er fully booked now.. Me: what about later. V: they er also fully booked in the afternoon.... then i waited for a few second expecting her to tell me when the doctors will be available, but she just stood there said nothing. So i asked...Me: what about tomorrow. V: weer not open tomorrow. Me: what about Monday. V: weer not open on monday........ To summarize it up. it was like talking to a wall. everything I asked just gets bounced back with no helpful answer. Ill go somewhere else that actually wants some business

This is the worst visionworks. I had to come twice in a week only to hear postpone my appointment. Even though I called before coming. Staff is the worst

Overall my visit with the optometrist and staff was good. My only complaint was the woman at the main counter she needs to work on her lack of customer service.

I was 15 mins early filled out my paperwork . Just in time, while waiting The optician sees Im next and takes a women before me ! Hes now 20 mins late for appointment and the women who cut me was a walk in . Total disregard for peoples time . To make everything worse I had to wait another 30 mins to pay when all I wanted was to give them my new frames and go . Initially I thought only one person could take me as she was taking another couple . Sure fine . Then after 30 mins.Dave comes and says oh thanks for your patience how can I help you . Pal you havent been doing anything for 30 mins and now you ask to help . These people are lazy and just completely disrespectful with customers time . Run away ! Wont ever be coming back . Im amazed this place is still open with customer service like this .
Frustrated! Left work early to be at the Malden store by 8, just to find out the website is wrong and they close at 7. Uggggg! Fix your website!
