Ive been going to this 7/11 for over decade and to see it change for the worse over the years because of the new owner, is not only a sad sight to see, but that there has been more effort put forth in spiffing up the place to give you the false sense of feeling welcomed than there has been for the customers and their service treatment.The supply of knock-off cheap dirty snacks that just take up most of the snack aisles get restocked quickly the next day but the more popular drinks and snacks arent restocked for almost a week.The staff switch up every week constantly, there is never the same 2 people working behind the counter and the originals that did work there, quit after the new owner took over.The front of the 7/11 is also riddled with suspicious figures at the middle of the night who like to hassle money from people if your trying to grab some snacks, beware of travelling to this place at night.Last but not least, the owner herself is a money shark, there has been more than a few times where she has been behind the counter and while I brought my goods to the front, she would scan them and would either charge an extra drink or bag of chips on me.I will not be getting any food or drinks or anything from this place ever again.

This location has gotten worse since the previous Staff has left. The service is out of control, and by no means some cannot understand English. For this to be a convince store, Id rather go out of my to go somewhere else. NEVER again will I set foot in this location

My experience at the 7/11 on Salem st in Malden MA today was absolutely horrible and I am baffled because I am a regular at that store. Today when I went to get checked out the female clerk by the name of Ona I believe didn’t have her mask and was texting. When I arrived to the counter and asked her to please put her mask on she glared at me with a dirty look and then went back to whatever she was doing on her phone. She rudely checked out my snacks and then when I asked for scratch tickets (that I buy from there all the time) she gave me a dirty look and asked for my id, I put my Id for her to see and she looked at it with a dirty look and then walked over to the scratch tickets grabbed one of the ones I wanted and then came back and picked up my id to look at it and then scanned it because she thought it was fake. I then asked for two more scratch tickets that she went to grab with attitude. She gave me my scratch tickets by sliding them across the counter to me. I then went home and called the store to ask for a district managers name and number because as someone who has worked in customer service for over 5 years I know that when a customer ask for it you must provide and that every district manager has a number they can be reached at. She told me that there was no number and that she would take my name and number. I then told her well I want your name and she refused and then hung up on me. When I called back again she begrudgingly gave me her name and then still refused to give me the store managers, store owners, and district managers name. And when I explained to her that I know how this works she became frustrated and began talking over me and then told me she couldn’t help me and then said the district manger would give me a call and hung up. I took a picture of her with her mask off on her phone at the front desk, I recorded my second call with her. As a regular customer and someone who works in customer service I know the treatment I am supposed to receive and this was beyond over the line. I PERSONALLY WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THIS STORE ANYMORE AND I DONT BELIEVE OTHER PEOPLE SHOULR EITHER BECAUSE IT IS VERY CLEAR THERE IS A LACK OF CARE FOR THE GLOBEL PANDEMIC THAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW, AND THEY DONT CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS SAFETY.

I will give 0 star if I can. Rude cashier and rude manager. The stupid manager just want to drive me away when I just want to park and buy something. He said This is my place. Dont park and eat somewhere else. I was surprised by the stupid manager because I just stop the engine without going anywhere. I know Im Asian, but is it the correct reason you treat me like that??? I will never go to this shop forever for the raciest sake.

I went in used my last 5 dollars. I was going to use for gas to buy a scratch ticket. I get home to scratch it and realize that the top, just the code, is scratched. And when I was asking about tickets and what the numbers the tickets were on, he was all frantic and acting like he didnt know where they were. He tried to take the change that was owed to my friend and not give it back, and then when I returned to confront him about my scratched scratch ticket. that I didnt even get a chance to scratch, he was nervous and very antsy. And he then takes my ticket, scratches it to see if it is a win or not, why would I care if its a win or not when I didnt even get a chance to play the ticket, I ask for a refund or a new ticket, and he said he couldnt do anything and I now have to wait to speak to the boss, in my opinion, I would never go to this store again, awful service, not reliable in something very illegal is going on in there

Horrible. Rude. I’m a lyft driver, was in the car desperately trying to find a bathroom. Found this place. Store clerk laughed at me. Said there was no bathroom and he wouldn’t let me use it if there was. Real freaking nice. I know where to not buy my gas now.

Rude cashiers. These guys keep selling me bad milk and stuff... It goes bad like a week earlier than the expiration date. Guess they suck at storing perishable items properly. God only knows what other bad food they sell to people!
