Stopped by last week tried the donuts and real homemade corned beef hash and I must say they are amazing. Had to come grab breakfast and more donuts. Staff are amazing friendly must have.
I had a great omelet here about 10AM and started getting slightly hungry again around 7PM. The food is fantastic, service was good, portions are generous, and prices are quite reasonable.
We randomly choose this place for brunch because the original one we want to try near Charlestown is not exist anymore. What a surprise that this place is amazing!We had donuts French toast and steak tips and eggs (of course ✌🏼). It was delicious! The donut tasted so fresh and the steak was very tasty. It really does tasted like marinated over 24 hours. Very delicious. We will definitely come back again for sure!
Vegans go here!Before I was vegan Id order eggs, home fries, and a side of pancakes at diners. The fact that The Hungry Vegan as a menu item won me over instantly. Tip - get their homemade sausage.The sweet potato based mac and cheese is fantastic and goes great with the chikn and waffle.The owner knows what they are doing - in an interview they said that they had to make sure sugar wasnt using bone char in the process. Thats legit paying attention to details and not just a place adding options to their menu.
We got the “BLT,” scramble, and chicken and waffles here and they were all delicious. This was a different variation of vegan scramble that didn’t have any tofu but it was still very good. We also got their vegan donuts to go. While they are more cakey than what I usually prefer, they are definitely worth getting!
The Donut Villa Diner is a friendly, independent diner that has everything you are looking for in a casual restaurant. The food is delicious! The donuts are of course fantastic, the best Ive had in the Boston area. They are always fresh and super yummy! Their breakfast sandwiches are also fantastic. And I cant say enough about the staff. They are all customer focused and go out of their way to help. After putting in an order online, I received a call from a very apologetic worker that they had just run out of a specific donut. I really believed that they were sorry and they went out of their way to find something else that I would like. I also overheard a conversation with another customer who knew the idea of what they wanted but couldnt quite put a name to it and the waitress and hostess worked together to determine what the customer wanted. I was impressed. They have also pivoted well during COVID-19. They have a nice website and even their own app for ordering. I highly recommend this wonderful little diner.
Delicious food and love the ambience at Donut Villa Diner. The staff is very attentive to the customers and is always asking if we wanted more coffee and water. I highly recommend and will be back.
😋 Delicious :-) we had vegan and non-vegan meals, doughnuts and gluten free options. Theres outside dining, there was a line for.it (call ahead? Not sure reservations are an option) but we ate inside and it was pleasant and ventilated. I kind of dont want to post about it so its less known. But holy cow, the place was clean, well priced, delicious and the food was served quick with great service! 😊 Thanks
I just ordered at donut Villa because I was hurting for time. They told me to be there to pick up at 10:14 AM. I did not receive my food until 10:44 AM. I mentioned to, I assume the manager, That I was unhappy and would appreciate the meal to be comped considering I am a fairly regular customer. Not only did he not take to that idea, but he treated me very inconsiderately and unprofessionally. This experience was a complete joke and I had to pay basically near $30 for this experience. I wouldn’t spend another dime at this place, nor take a free meal. Rotten attitudes, doesn’t deserve HARD EARNED money
Ordered delivery and the food seemed barely average. The Hungry Woman was extremely salty from the potatoes and bacon and I couldn’t finish it. The french toast was mediocre, it arrived cold and bland. They also forgot the coffee I ordered. I believe the food may be better in person but I would avoid delivery or takeout from here.
Great breakfast and variaty as far as food goes.The donuts are inhouse so they are fresh.One thing is to be ready for a waittime but nothing to crazy.

Ordered on uber eats.... within a few minutes i got an alert my food is on the way, 30 min later... ice cold food delivered... theres no way my food was made that fast... . If I wanted pre-made/re heated food, I would have orded BK or something....ALSO, HOW THE HELL IS THE BURNT ICE BRICK I GOT THE SAME SANDWHICH??

Weve been searching for a new breakfast option and I am so happy that we tried Donut Villa Diner! We ordered the typical egg/home fries/meat/toast breakfast, along with two donuts. Both were great! Ordering online and curbside pickup were also seamless. We will definitely order from here again, and will likely become curbside pickup regulars!
Went inside and asked if we could get outside seating. The people behind the counter seemed uninterested and rude. They said yes, so we sat and waited for over 15 minutes and no one came out to say hello or offer any menus. We ended up leaving.

This is the typical diner with the addition of a donut shop up front. I went at lunchtime on a Saturday and there was only counter seating left. I had the Homemade Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. The homemade hash was excellent with recognizable bit of corned beef and it was seasoned. The potatoes was also excellent, seasoned and sans skin. The over easy eggs was a bit unevenly cooked with one egg a bit snotty. The toast was nicely toasted but was buttered when cold.
Forget about this place..customer service is trash. Everybody there minding their own business and wont even acknowledge you as a customer. WORST coffee shop in Medford.

Huge menu! I especially love that they have so many vegan items, including donuts. The main menu has lots of standard diner fare. We always order the iced lattes, vegan donuts, and the vegan chicken bacon ranch sandwich.

Didn’t even get to Try the food before I left.Didn’t even get a drink .At 1:15 I was seated outside in the tent, and was told by the nice lady greeting people someone would be right with me. There was only two other guests in the tent, both being waited on by two separate waitresses . .Fast forward to 1:35, myself and my fiancé are still waiting for someone to acknowledge us,It’s also raining and cold so you would think they would have offered coffee as we sat freezing waiting for someone to wait on us . But we couldn’t even get someone to look in our direction.1:40, a new couple comes and sits down, gets i immediately gets waited on and receives their drinks right away.1:45 we get up and leave. After sitting 30 minutes, in the rain and cold, with not even a drink.Probably won’t bother trying here again. Which is a shame because the people who were sitting and eating seemed to be enjoying everything.I’ve never NEVER written a review before in my life. But wooooooof that had me mad .
Was really excited to try this place, we got chicken and waffles, eggs sausage and potatoes and toast for takeout but it want great :( the waffle was soggy, the chicken was cold and seemed like it was microwaved not fried. The buttered toast was wet somehow??and potatoes were also cold.. donuts were alright honey dipped was the best. The staff are great and super friendly though. Really wanted to like this place because its close to where I live
I was so excited to try this place, I even drove 35 min to pick up some take out. I ordered the *VEGAN* chicken & waffles dish and upon arrival home I noticed the chicken looked strikingly real. Once I smelt it I realized they served me real chicken! I’m sure it was an honest mistake but I’m very disappointed :( The waffle wasn’t vegan either. Please beware and double check your vegan food when you order!

Large vegan menu & vegan donuts. Everything was delicious! Prices are fair too! We got “chick’n” and waffles, a side of potatoes, and donuts. We were in the outside tent in 40 degree weather; They have huge and very effective space heaters and brought ample cups of hot coffee! Highly recommend.

Waited over an hour for breakfast IN PERSON!!😡. 65 minutes to be exact. Horrible service and rude workers. The older women behind the counter got mad at me because they made a mistake W/ MY ORDER. Go figure. When I did FINALLY receive the food, the toast was soggy, bacon was overly greasy and burnt, corned beef hash was undercooked, along with the bland RAW hash browns. I HOPE YOU LOSE THIS BUSINESS. YOUR FOOD IS NASTY and inedible. Someone called The Board of Health
Love love love it here. It’s our family place to go since we were kids. It was at a different location however, soo good and homie we always found our way to the Donut Villa. My Mommy has ciliac disease this is the only childhood place that has a menus for my Mommy and us. God bless the Donut Villa and all there workers. We love you dear friends.
Takeout their donuts. They are very nice large fluffy donuts and much better than Dunkin. Friendly service. I would go early on weekends as people like to go for brunch.

Weve been there a couple time and have ordered in (delivery) tons of times. The food is always amazing.I love their breakfast burrito. Their pancakes are huge and fluffy. Their omelettes are big and packed full of fresh ingredients. They have one of the best Boston Cream donuts Ive ever had & Ive had a lot of Boston Cream donuts.This is one of the best breakfast/lunch restaurants Ive been to in awhile. I highly recommend it.

Food was pretty good. ok vegan selection. I think a lot of the vegan options are overpriced for what you get. Very small portions in general. donuts are really good but expensive. Last time I ordered food they didn’t include an add on i paid an additional $2 for (which is ridiculously overpriced for some blueberries on an already overpriced waffle). Food came out really fast and everyone was nice though.
Standard breakfast food with an added bonus of a section of the menu with the macro nutrients listed for a few options. I selected the egg white scramble with a couple added fat free cheese slices, it also came with tomato slices and wheat toast with no butter. Food taste good, and they have a nice selection of fresh gormet style doughnuts as well. Service was very personable, but my water glass and my girlfriends coffee were both left empty and unattended to until our food came (personal pet peeve) and it was not busy on a Thursday morning.

Just left there - we got the BYO omelet, French toast with Nutella and strawberries and breakfast burger. Everything was delicious! Breakfast is my favorite meal but it’s so hard to find a restaurant that does it well (without the insane price tag) Donut Villa Diner is the perfect place - super delicious/flavorful food, reasonable prices and friendly service. Sometimes there can be a little wait but it’s reasonable and definitely worth the food you’re about to eat!We also got donuts from there in the past (a variety) and they were also great!We feel so lucky to have such a high quality diner so close to home!

Excellent breakfast foods, especially the donuts. Personally, I find them to be the best donuts in the area. They are always very fresh and they have gluten free options as well, which are equally as good! A great place to grab a great breakfast outside of donuts as well. I have tried a few things on their menu and they have all been excellent, especially the hangover burger I had last time. You really cant go wrong with eating here!
Very rude and disrespectful to young girls. the second we got there they yelled at us for standing on the side walk and trying to order food. waited about 35 mins for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. when a friend and i walked in to order because it was our turn we heard one the workers talking about us. very disappointed with the customer service. Updated my review because the burger and fries really were quite good. Im sorry for what I said when I was hangry.I was really excited to receive my avo toast with hard boiled egg and seasoning, but instead I somehow received the vegan avo toast with cucumbers and a ton of olives (both of which I hate 😒). Sad lunch for me. HOWEVER my husbands donut burger was very good, and the fries were crispy and delicious. I will update this review when we try again!Edit: nothing against vegan options, its just that cukes give me crazy heart burn!
Not at all like Everetts old donut villa. so frustrated that I have to write this. Not only did our waitress take care of a familys order and service before us who walked in10 minutes after we sat down. But our food was such a very long wait for scrambled eggs bacon and a bagel. 25 minutes wait ! That is absolutely unacceptable and rediculous. And no it was not busy on a Friday, only 4 other partys were in the outside tent. When it was brought to her attention she made it seem like a joke and placed it back on me like I was inpatient. Nope not the case any server will tell you thats way to long to wait. And the food was just o.k. nothing spectacular.
I live in the neighbourhood and I come here so often and sometimes I called for a food pickup and every time The food is DELICIOUS .. the service is bit slow but it’s worth the wait.. love their breakfast

I came to Donut Villa Diner because their claim to fame are their donuts. I personally did not like the donuts. They are more of a dense cake consistency than an airy donut consistency. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was decent. Donut Villa Diner is certainly not the best diner I have been to, but it did the job for breakfast.
Amazing food and service! Fast and efficient. The interior is small but neatly designed to create a cute and cozy atmosphere.

Randomly chose this spot based on the delivery time and menu selection. Food arrived, well packaged and warm. But what mattered most was how delicious their steak tips and eggs were with buttered toast and home fries! Also, ordered the BLT on a bagel, bomb! Last, the eggs, avocado, and home fries w/ buttered wheat toast! We ordered 3 plates in total but now excited about enjoying a Sunday morning breakfast at the actual facility!

Very delicious and so many options for such a cozy diner! I had the Hangover Sandwich -- my staple for any breakfast diner! Their only downfall is that they typically start cleaning up the kitchen at 1:15-1:30 PM before closing at 2 PM, which means they shut down their fryers and start offering limited food options. Donuts are plentiful and large in size!
Best donuts in the whole wide world! No kidding. The menu items are just as good. The staff are a bunch of characters. Love them. Its so nice to know that corporate America hasnt taken over everything. Long live Donut Villa!!!

The BEST donuts in Greater Boston, period. Donut Villa Diner is a great little family owned and operated hidden jewel tucked into a strip mall on the Medford-Malden line. Forget the Dunkin in the same lot, theres no reason to stop there. The donuts are twice the size and 10 times the quality of the chain.They also have the best bacon egg and cheese muffin Ive had. I need to get back soon to try the other menu options!
I work in costumer service, and if i treated anyone like the way the workers treated me I would be fired instantly. I was constantly yelled at for standing on the sidewalk and forced to wait on the street. I asked to use the bathroom and a worker put her finger in my face shook it. I am also very disappointed with the wait time.
