We would not go to anyone else for our furniture refinishing, repair, or re-upholstery needs. By far, you will not find a family business more courteous and caring for your furniture as though it was their own. We had ten formal dining room chairs recovered. Not only did they replace the fabric and replaced the cording around the edges, but they also rebuilt the sagging seats. By far you get top quality fabric and impeccable workmanship. The hardest part was selecting from the wonderful selection of swatches of top quality fabric. We liked so many choices! In addition, they fixed a recliner for us that needed an arm pad repaired. The work was better than when we purchased the product! Highly, highly recommend. We will be back. Patience is the key - give them the correct amount of time to do the job. You wont be disappointed.

I dropped off chairs to be reupholstered 2 weeks ago and never heard back from them after leaving 8 voice mail messages and 5 text messages. No one answers any of their published phone numbers. When I stop by their store during published business hours, the store is locked. I can see my dining chairs through the window, but nobody responds to knocking on the door.At this point, I am planning to contact the Better Business Bureau for assistance. I hear they do good work, bit their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Beware.

I had several pieces of antique and fine reproduction furniture plus some cupboard doors which needed a variety of repair work, including custom replacement wood and stain/polyurethane surface repairs. I could not be happier with the quality of the work! The furniture looks just perfect and the cupboard doors like new. Plus they came to my house, performed the repair work efficiently and transported the items needed to be repaired offsite. The service is awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend this business for the finest repair work.

Juan did a wonderful job repairing our upholstered living room swivel chair. The swivel base had a broken part that caused it to not swivel correctly and the chair no longer sat level. Juan was able to get the repair part and replace it in three days. Now my wife is happy with the chair again and thinks Juan is a wonderful furniture craftsman. He will certainly get any future furniture repairs for us.

Juan re-upholstered a chair and ottoman that have been in my family for three generations. When he picked up the furniture, it was in very sad shape. The foam was dry rotting and the fabric desperately needed to be replaced. Juan dropped the chair and ottoman off this morning (he even helped bring the pieces upstairs) and I could not be happier with the workmanship. The chair has new foam, new upholstery, and the wood trim has been stripped and re-stained as requested. It looks like a brand new piece of furniture. I highly recommend Pro Furniture Doctor!

Pro Furniture are artisans and craftsmen. They just repaired and refinished a dresser that was part of a wedding set for my grandparents from the early 1920s. A fluted leg was broken in half, I can’t tell the replacement from the original. The woodwork matches perfectly and the finish is identical. The overall finish is outstanding. The wood has not been that clear and smooth since I inherited the piece in the 1980s. But the piece still has all of its “character”, which is what we wanted. The small dents and a discoloration with personality were all preserved. I can look at the piece and see both a beautiful, functional antique and a memory from my past.Thank youRalph and Heather

Juan is an artist! He refinished the 60:year old solid maple dresser and nightstand that I recently inherited from my mother and they are works of art! The finish is perfect! The color of the stain is exactly as he told me it would be and he made the extra effort to enhance the many interesting wood grains! He took the time to explain the characteristics of the maple wood to my husband and me and he made suggestions of how to have the pieces refinished. One corner of the top of the dresser had been damaged by nail polish remover, but you would never know it when looking at the refinished piece!My husband called for an appointment to have an estimate done and we were given one the next day. We were told that the job would take about 5 weeks, but the finished pieces were ready in 3 weeks 2 days. Juan’s fee was very fair especially when you consider his excellent skills that produce such fine work! Juan picked up the dresser and nightstand and delivered them when finished. He was very respectful of our home and took great care when moving the furniture out and back in. All in all a wonderful experience!

Juan and his father At Pro Furniture Doctor, fixed the mechanism on my old, but otherwise in perfect condition, Leather Barcolounger recliner! I tried other places but they said the company that bought Barcolounger doesn’t make that mechanism any more. ProFurniture Doctor Figured out a way to fix it and it works like new!
