My experience at maximum auto outlet was OUTSTANDING, speedy and officiant !! Not to mention Mr. K was a WONDERFUL salesman, got me in the car I wanted that had all the necessities! As soon as I got there we took my 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan on a test drive, everything ran so smooth. The finance guy did an AMAZING job with working with my circumstances, and got my monthly payments at a great rate! This place has a huge variety of cars, the salesmen are actually pretty open and explain if a car has accidents, etc. They have great prices but this is usually because they get them in rough shape or not fully cleaned out. If you want to save yourself money on some cars and don’t mind it being in the absolute best condition I suggest coming here. They have a car for everybody and offer good prices. The main area is spacious, nothing fancy but it works. They have nice restrooms, a full seating couch area and vending machines.

I purchased a 2015 mustang gt with 57k miles on for 30,000. Not even a month of ownership I only had the car for 3 weeks and had to get a shifter replacement 1200 also the car did not have oil when it was sold. Not only that I was told I needed a new motor which would cost me 9600 dollars. I never thought spending that much on a car would lead me to spending 10,800 on a car I worked really hard to get. DO NOT BUY from this company they will sell u a lemon and you will not be able to get into contact with them. All they want is your money go to a actual dealership and pay a little bit more to know for certain your buying a trustworthy car from a trusted dealer.

To make a long review short, I had troubled finding a car in Ohio. Decided to buy a car in VA based on the fact that they had better pricing and I knew that most of the cars that were being sold were inspected. I went on Maximum’s website and searched through their inventory and found a few cars that I was interested in. I called and spoke to a Mr. K and told him what I was interested in and told him that I was flying in. I get there and he was very straight forward with me on what cars would work with my situation and with the banks. Even though I was stressing through the process, Mr. K assured me that he was there to help even if it wasn’t gonna work out. Everything worked out in my favor and I was very pleased with Mr. K’s service. If you decide to buy a car from MAO, go see Mr. K!

WARNING: stay away from this dealership, wait to you read about my crazy experience with this dealership. I was looking for a BMW M5 F10 (2012-2016) car with a 6 speed manual transmission, the last style before BMW eliminated the 6-speed manual from the M5 lineup. They are very rare, I was looking for two years for this type of car. When I found one near me (less than 2 hours driving time), I contacted the dealer listing the car in Dec 2020. The dealership, Maximum Auto Outlet in Manassas Park, VA offered the car. I drove 1 1/2 hr to the dealership. The car looked really good, they let me drive the car, they provided what appeared to be a really good buying experience. They provided me with a CarFax that said there were no reported accidents with this car. However, this car being rare, I overpaid the Nadaguide value of the car by $8000 to get the 6-speed manual transmission. While the price was very high, I felt that the car was worth it to me, no accidents, mileage not too high. I had a little pressure from them to buy it that day, (another buyer is ready to go now if you dont buy it), I put the deposit down and scheduled the following week to pick up the car. Everything looked good at the time I picked up the car. THEN THE PROBLEMS STARTED the following week, not a mechanical problem that the dealer can wash their hands from but an unexpected issue. Glass starts falling inside my trunk within the first week of ownership, very weird, never had that happen before. I cleaned it up, next week again, little pieces of broken glass, again. After a few weeks of this it still did not stop. I sent a message to the salesperson who sold me the car, they said they would talk to management, no further response, I contacted again, no response, I took pictures, sent them to the dealership, no response. Glass still kept falling into my trunk, into my items in the trunk. This has kept happening through July of this year 2021, if I dont clean it up every other day it keeps accumulating. I had a small incident with a deer in July 2021 and took the car to a BMW body shop, when they did the estimate, I mentioned the experience about the glass. The experts at the BMW certified body shop were quick to point out that the glass had been replaced with non-BMW parts and with bad fitting, wrong moulding. They also pointed out multiple body repairs not disclosed by the dealership. I was not happy, I contacted the salesperson again, then asked for compensation to replace the incorrectly installed glass, and to clean up the broken glass that was still falling in the trunk of the car. They refused, this problem happened on their watch, they either replaced the glass with a badly installed cheap replacement or knew about the falling glass, the dealership could not have had a car for a few months and not see the falling glass. They also failed to disclose the glass and other body shop repaired damage (4 places, front two places, rear side and rear window), they were deceptive, they are the experts, they have hundreds of cars on their lot, they knew what they had and failed to disclose all the known defects. This is a deceptive dealership and you should stay away. They hide behind the CarFax by doing the repairs themselves and then not reporting the repairs. Reviews are the only way to get their attention, besides lawsuits, the BBB wont do anything if the car is not new, so we the consumer are stuck and get ripped off by these unscrupulous dealerships.

Mr. K was amazing! He made sure I got the BEST deal on my 2014 Nissan Maxima. He had all the information pulled up on the CarFax of my vehicle. He let me take it on a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection)! The guys at Maximum were hands down the absolute most patient with me. This was a gigantic purchase for me and they were very knowledgeable about all of the different brands of cars. They provided honest feedback and never tried to sell me the most expensive vehicle on the lot. I was able to test drive multiple vehicles with their blessing. Never did I feel pressured or rushed. I showed up after driving for hours away, was not greeted by anyone, after finally having a salesman agree to pull the car around, it had many issues to which he began to try to cover up. After driving the vehicle and willing to negotiate with them on those issues they were unwilling to do Budge off of their number. I am in extremely educated buyer, I have bought over 20 cars in my life, and even used to sell cars, the salesman Doug was completely rude, and would not allow me to even speak with a manager. After sometime the sales floor manager came over and did not even apologize for Dougs behavior. They are not a dealership that cares About customers, or their needs. Just for clarity I was looking at a 2014 Hyundai Equis. The trade in value on this vehicle is $11,000. They are trying to sell it for $16,000. In addition to that they have an $895 processing fee for all of their vehicles, so now that brings the vehicle to almost $17,000, when I was merely trying to negotiate $800, they were unwilling to move even slightly. Highly recommend that you do not waste your time here.

This is the worst run dealership that i have ever tried to deal with…made an appointment to look at a vehicle…finance department ran my credit and then tells me the car was sold that same day..i asked days earlier if i needed to put a down payment they said no..i talked to two different 🤡 and got 2 different answers as to what really happened …if this is how they run a business then good luck ..i wouldn’t buy oxygen from this dealership if they were the only ones on earth that had it. If I can rate this place a Zero star then I would. The worst car shopping experience ever. Very unprofessional staff. Talking to us with his mouthful of burger and mayo on the side of his mouth. Made us waited over an hour while he went and get paperwork for us. Turns out he was eating inside his office until we had to get up and get him to see the status of the paperwork process. Pathetic negotiations on cars with scratches and previous mishaps. Show room cars were dusty, fingers stained and unappealing. Overall a lacking and a waste of time experience.

I purchased a 2008 Prius yesterday. The pictures online looked worse than when I arrived. The thing was immaculate! Low mileage, fantastic price, inspected, and CLEAN! I couldn’t believe the deal we got. Lowest interest rate I’ve ever been offered and from start to finish this is how efficient this place it.1:30 - me and my girlfriend decide she needs a new car, we look on CarGurus and find the Prius. I call and Jonathan in finance answers. He says to come on in. 1 hour of driving from where we lived.2:30 - we get there and they bring the car up. Test drive it and look it over.3:30 - in the finance office in a matter of five minutes after saying we will take it.4:00 - leaving dealership in a fantastic vehicle, with a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty (Fantastic price on the warranty!)This place changed our opinion of what a car buying experience is. At car max we were there over an hour before we took a test drive on a POS that was filthy. Very recently purchased a 2015 Ford Mustang GT from Maximum Auto. Overall, the actual buying process was quick and easy. Thats about where the positives end though. This is dealer mainly sells vehicles as is. Roughly 30 minutes after I drove my new vehicle off the lot, the check engine light came on. This mustang only has 33k miles on the clock, so I doubt this is a coincidence that the light came on by itself. More than likely, the dealer cleared the engine code when they received it without actually fixing the problem. The vehicle is currently in the shop being diagnosed, luckily cleared codes are historically shown in the ECM. So shorty I should know if they knew about the problem or not.TLDR: Dont buy from this dealership unless youre extremely mechanically inclined. They will try to pull a fast one on you.

Save your self the hassle and buy from a reputable dealership. I take ownership of the fact that I did not inspect the vehicle I purchased thoroughly enough. The problems I’ve found since I purchased are that the paint is ruined ( I thought a detail shop would be able to get the haze out, but there is too much damage, the front end is out of alignment, two of the tires are worn and need replacement and the windshield wipers are worn. One of the front tire had 20 psi and another had 50 psi. These discrepancies may seem minor, but considering that they issued a safety inspection for the vehicle I find it pretty underhanded.

Bought a 2014 Kia forte within two weeks problems already started to Pop-up first problem was the back up camera did not work they were fully aware of this because before I took the car home they took it and filled it up with gas for me and backed into a parking spot so they seen the camera did not work when I reached out to them and explain that the camera did not work they beat around the bush like they were going to fix it said they had to order a part never reach back out to me about the part. PLEASE READ THIS AND AVOID THIS PLACE. Purchased a 2009 Audi A3 Quattro with 69K miles for $9000. After two weeks of smooth driving, the Check Oil light came on and car was running very rough. The oil level was showing very low on the dipstick so I took a look underneath the vehicle to find a hole steadily dripping oil (dripping again within a minute or two of wiping clean with paper towel.) I called the dealership and they asked for me to email them photos of the leak and they would call me back immediately after checking out the photos. I never received a call back and then they specifically stopped answering calls from my direct number altogether. I called from a different cell phone number and they answered immediately... When I told them who I was, they say, Sorry, the manager is in a meeting right now and we are not allowed to give you his cell phone number. Can I take a message? I find the managers cell phone number on a previous email I had from him; he answered on the first ring and confirmed that he was NOT in a meeting at all and not sure why the front desk had told me this. He says, But can I call you back in 10 minutes after I get back to my desk and checkout your paperwork? HE NEVER CALLS BACK AND AGAIN, AVOIDING DIRECT CALLS FROM MY NUMBER WHEN I TRY TO CALL BACK. I had my mother call up and he answered immediately again so I know they have caller ID and have my cell number somehow marked as Do Not Answer at this point. Here I was trying to get my fiance a newer, more reliable car at almost $10,000, but it is now undriveable after 3 weeks and the dealership refuses to do anything about it. On top of the huge, leaking hole, there is NO WAY the rotors on this vehicle passed VA inspection (photos attached of rotors with deep grooves). They even refuse to give me the name of the 3rd Party shop who performed the inspection so I can call and research myself. We also had issues with the aftermarket stereo during the first test drive in which they said they would absolutely look at free of charge if we continue having issues. The stereo is now completely stuck on an Error screen which will not allow me to do anything to it and they wont even help with this verbal promise that they made. This is a very shady dealership that is not even attempting to help with the $9000 car they sold with a hole in the bottom of the engine.... PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND LEFT WITH A JUNKER VEHICLE WITHIN WEEKS OF LEAVING THEIR LOT!

Saw two cars I was interested in online and paid a visit. Liked one of them and took it for a test drive. Greg was my sales rep and he was very helpful/friendly...wasnt pushy and was willing to let me take it out to my mechanic. The dealer had two different prices for the car on two different websites, and initially was hesitant to give me the lower price, but they did eventually. The paperwork process and everything when I went in to actually buy the car was very streamlined and painless. Overall happy with my car and would highly recommend Greg. Buyer beware. Make sure you know what you are buying and look beyond the aesthetic. If its too good to be true, it is. They only care in selling cars, not customer satisfaction. The term is AS IS and what AS IS may not be clearly visible. If you dont know anything about cars mechanically, then you better not rely on these guys to tell you whether the car is good or not. Even their warranty is no good as it does not cover pre-existing conditions. And frankly everything wrong with the vehicle found after the sale will be deemed pre-existing conditions.

I went there on two occasions looking to buy. Both times I was met with relatively either rude or not terribly professional individuals. On a positive side they weren’t very pushy, but on a negative side the cars were overpriced especially for what they were. Low miles? Yes. Windows working? Not all of them. I understand it’s a used car, but when you’re asking well over $5000 what it’s really worth it better be perfect condition. I told them the car was overpriced and they said they don’t negotiate, and everything is as is. It definitely seemed “off” as a place. I will not be returning. I won’t urge you not go here, but I would be skeptical of the seemingly perfect reviews.

Made an appointment to see a car in the afternoon, they sold it that morning which is understandable, what upset me was they never called to tell me they sold it, so I wasted close to two hours driving there just to find out they had sold the car, then when wanting to look at a similar one, they had us waiting for 30 minutes “looking for the car” so we decided to leave, when we saw the car they were looking for right by the front entrance 🤦🏽‍♂️. I bought a car a few months ago at this dealer Maximum auto outlet. the first month I used it, I noticed that it had a mechanical failure, which seemed strange to me because it was a 2018 car, I called the dealer to explain this to me, because it was not fair that They sold a car in poor condition, but what they told me was that they would not respond to that problem that was my problem and the truth is not fair because I had less than a month of having the car and I had already found a error and did not want to respond. it is very bad that they sell cars in poor condition and do not respond to fix them.

This place looks professional on the outside but their professionalism and integrity is terrible. After purchasing my car, I found that my turn signals stopped working, shifter would either get stuck or not fully go into gear, throttle needed cleaning and could not pass the emissions test that I was supposed to do within 14 days of purchase because the engine light was on. They gave me the run around for 3 weeks before I went up there, threatened to go to the Better Business Bureau and have USAA remove them from their list because they kept trying to keep me from having them fix the issues. They tried to have me pay for the repairs even though the most I drove it was home. Now, 10 months later, my car cannot pass the safety test because the compressor went out and was overheating and melted my serpentine belt which damaged my belt system AND I have to replace the passenger seatbelt system. I have done so many repairs on this car that I basically already paid it off with the money I’ve spent for it. If the car can’t pass a state safety test then it shouldn’t be on the lot for sale.Update: oxygen sensor and lines need to be replaced ($600) and I need a new suspension system ($3,500) cause mine are shot. Be in mind, I’ve only had it a little less than a year and just use the car to drive to work.If I could give this place 0 stars I would

Buyer beware, bought a ford transit at maximum auto outlet. The sales team was good to deal with when purchasing the car. After I drove it home and went to get it inspected, it failed the WV inspection! The car was completely missing the 3rd brake light. I have reached out to the dealer with zero responses to this issue. It appears that they slap inspection stickers on their cars without actually inspecting the car. I know I purchased the car with no warranty, but selling cars that wont pass inspection is wrong!

I looked at two used Subaru’s of the same model year and test drove both. I ended up buying elsewhere. The staff were polite but inattentive, I certainly didn’t feel like they wanted me to buy anything.The cars themselves were disappointing. One of the had a “clean” Carfax but you could see signs of flood damage on the interior and the engine bay including heavy rust under and behind the dash. The hood lines was dripping wet and hanging down on top of the engine. Was told it was normal wear.Second car same year much cleaner also had a clean Carfax but I only test drove about half a mile before it started billowing smoke out of the engine. The sales person said they must have spilled when doing the oil change.In short not a bad option but it was disappointing driving all that way to see two cars that didn’t live up to their listings.

If I could I would have given 0 stars without a doubt. We called about a TSX they had for 10,995. I saw the car a few months ago as well in May. We were just asking normal questions when the sales person became very very rude. We were willing to offer 11,000 in cash with the processing fee included and he got offended by that like we low balled. My friend owns a dealership and said dealers can easily wave that. It is just for them to make money. They are super rude and do not negotiate which is why the car has been sitting for so long.

Brought our son from New York to purchase a car on Saturday. My husband and son drove the car back home. The next day the car will not move!! Throwing transmission codes. They advised us that the transmission had been replaced and would be u see warranty. Have been calling the salesman Doug for 2 days and keep getting the run around!! My 21yr old handed Doug a check for $29000 and now has a very expensive lawn ornament!!! He has been told multiple times today that the general manager Mario will be calling, still waiting???? Make sure to have an independent mechanic do inspection on car. Or better yet AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! I will update if we have any resolution. I’m sure they have put the check in the bank. Honestly they should offer to take back this lemon.

While the people are very nice and all smiles, the cars are junk! We bought a 2011 Jaguar and had it less than a year when the head gasket blew. All levels showed good, Now were paying on a car with no engine. Engines for this car run about $8,000. Before we knew this issue, we bought a Camaro for my husband. Hes had it about 3 months and now it smells like oil and is not running right. The radio goes off and on randomly, the side light keeps falling out and when we got it home we noticed a deep scrape in the door glass that at purchase wasnt there! When they say as is DO NOT GET IT! Weve bought many cars, new and used before, but this has been the worst experience ever. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Wasn’t told about the problems before purchasing the car. Unfortunately, I signed the as is clause without seeing that the car was in an accident. The sales person Jonathan Sevilla, although nice, told us that the car was never in an accident and the car fax didn’t have any thing about an accident. But the car was indeed in a accident. Not even two months of having the car it began to cut off while driving and have other issues. The car didn’t even have a key ( only spare) and a replacement costs $200+ and when trying to talk to them they promise they’ll give you a call back but never do. They just want to sell you cars that have issues without disclosing them for cheap. Please buy elsewhere.

Terrible dealership, bought a car that did not have high beam headlights (which cars are supposed to be inspected before sold) the car did not have heat, and was also missing a lug nut on the rear wheel. Took the car back after noticing and they were very disrespectful, and told it wasn’t their fault... Who’s fault is it when they are selling the vehicle. They told me they fixed the heat which was false. Absolutely terrible experience here. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!

I applied for an auto loan 12 days ago. I called to follow up and the sales person said, we busy and only got like five sales managers. We will call you once your application is processed. 12 days letter, my application is still in process. These are by far the rudest sales people I have ever encountered. The cars must sell themselves. If it is this hard to speak to someone about buying a car, I can only imagine the process if there was an issue. I contacted another dealership and scheduled delivery of my new used car. I am not impressed. John and Mr. K are really good and doing their jobs poorly.

If you’re not from VA, i would not buy from this dealership. My car failed MD inspection & when i took the car back to see if there was anything they could do, they made me wait 8 hours, only to tell me that they just replaced the windshield wipers. Not only was it a huge waste of time, the GM made it a point to tell us that he didn’t care if the car worked anymore because he got our money & didn’t have to do anything to help us. From a past consumer, I would do my best to stay away from this place & their shady deals.

The staff at Max Auto is very warm, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, from day one, we had issues with the vehicle we first purchased last Saturday for my brother and it seemed like they just kept piling up with each new day. But every time we brought it back, the staff were quick to address our concerns and assure us they would fix the problems. However, after getting the vehicle back from them on Wednesday and having more issues arise, we decided to take it back today and return it. Having bought the car as is, we knew we didnt have any legal right to do so but we needed a car that was going to pass Maryland inspection and this one wasnt going to. They knew when we bought it thats what we needed so we felt they should make it right because thats not what we got. Right from the start, they were willing to work with us. No hassle, nothing. They took the vehicle back and put my brother in a new one as he asked. Im very thankful for all their help. They made what was a very stressful situation for us a lot easier. Even though they sell their cars as is, they really do stand by their vehicles and help their customers as they say they do.
