Very good experience with them. They were completely open with the sale and allowed me to take a decent test drive around town. I dont mean to bash some of the negative reviews, but really, these guys are not a big dealership. They survive pretty much by going to auctions and re-selling the cars. I think the buyer needs to be more responsible and check the product before buying it and then claim that the dealer is trying to get away with something. I purchased a 2009 Altima and they allowed me to take it from the dealership to a mechanic (selected by me, not them). I tried to get as much information as possible on the car BEFORE the purchase. About the test drive time limit, please read between the lines... It means be reasonable and dont go around the beltway adding 70 miles to the odometer... It doesnt matter where or what you buy, always be smart about it. Ask the questions, read the fine print, do the testing, have a specialist take a look, whatever it takes. If you are on a budget and want decent, honest service, these guys will help you out.

We just purchased a used car from Auto Expo for the 2nd time. We bought one several years ago and it was a good deal for the money. We felt they were honest with us and were happy with our purchase, so we decided to go back today as we were again in the market for a used car.We told them what we wanted and they showed us the perfect car for a reasonable price. We have found them to be helpful without being pushy. We also were able to get financing for the car through them at a good interest rate.Hopefully we will not need another car for many years, but if we do need another used car, we would definitely stop by Auto Expo again.NOTE: we had an unexpected problem with the car a week or so after we bought it. We took it back to Auto Expo and they fixed the problem for us. This is a good business!

Bought my 2013 Toyota Corolla from Auto Expo. Gino was very professional and knowledgeable about the car, along with the other staff. Financing is not done on Sundays when we came in to view the car, but Gino was able to work with us and hold the car while we got our finances together. I would recommend Auto Expo. I got a great deal on a super clean 1998 Lexus ES300 back in 2006. The dealers were easy to deal with and worked with me on the price I thought was fair. I still have the Lexus and it is my every day driver to work. I have only had to do routine maintenance and oil changes every 3K miles for the most part as well as change the timing belt, drive belts, spark plugs and water pump at 100K miles. I recently got all the fluids flushed and a new battery and she runs like new at 125K miles.

I dont believe that it was the intent of the dealership or those who work there, to sell us a vehicle that needed a lot of work in order to run properly and pass inspection; however, this was the case.Buyers of used vehicles - The following is knowledge that I didnt have before purchasing this vehicle. Ignorance is no excuse, and surely doesnt allow you to return an improperly functioning vehicle, so listen up!Dealerships are only responsible for getting vehicles past inspection, and having them in running order before being able to legally sell them. Running order does not mean: oil change, tune-up, good alternator and/or battery, etc. As long as you can drive the vehicle off of the lot, its considered to be in running order. PLEASE, PLEASE ask the dealership what they have done to the vehicle since buying it from the seller. In our case, NOTHING was done. After running into problems, we were told that its the responsibility of the buyer to do the basic maintenance on the vehicle, which we planned to do of course; HOWEVER, Ive never purchased a used vehicle from a dealership where the vehicle hadnt even had an oil change before being sold. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASING! Also, test drive the vehicle as much as possible before signing on the dotted line.Our StoryI purchased a used vehicle from Auto Expo as a B-Day surprise for my husband. Gino (salesman) was great to work with, very friendly and informative. After leaving the dealership with the vehicle, my husband and I went out to dinner 2 days later and returned to a vehicle that was completely DEAD! No lights, no turn over, nothing. We informed Adam (manager) about the malfunction of the vehicle and wanted to return it. Since we had already signed AS-IS paperwork, there was no chance of taking the vehicle back. Adam did send a tow truck to take the car back to Manassas to have the dealer mechanic check it out (which was still going to be at our expense); however, the tow truck driver didnt have the proper truck/tools to tow a rear-wheel vehicle. Needless to say, the vehicle had to be towed to our home at our expense . After having a local mechanic look at the vehicle, we found out that the alternator and battery were both dead, so we purchased brand new ones, and paid for the labor to have the alternator changed. The car ran smoothly for two days, then terrible shaking and loss of acceleration. We took the vehicle back to a mechanic and learned that the oil was filthy and the vehicle was in dire need of a COMPLETE tune-up (plugs, wires, all 6 coils, and filter). Although EXTREMELY frustrated, we paid to have the work done. In all, we spent close to $2,000 in addition to the cost of the vehicle, just to get the car running properly and to pass state inspection.After this experience, we will be very careful purchasing our next vehicle, if we decide to purchase used. We will surely ask MANY questions, test drive as much as possible, and make sure the dealership has enough courtesy to AT LEAST change the oil. The oil was TAR black! We couldve driven off the lot and blew the motor. Not the best experience.

These guys are good... At being scumbags. They know the tricks. The seemed nice and friendly, so I was not as vigilant as I should have been, but they were still very dishonest. I am pretty sure they also have an arrangement with one of the nearby shady mechanics to get these cars to pass inspection and appear presentable for at least the test drive. The day after I bought it, the check engine light came on. The KBB printout they showed me had features checked that were not on the car. The carfax showed no previous accidents, but I later took it to a mechanic who said the car definitely had extensive repair work done. The car was unreliable cost me a lot to fix. I eventually sold it for an extreme loss.

Let me just start out by saying that I do NOT purchase anything from anywhere without checking out the reviews first. After seeing some of the reviews (although some seemed to be from the same person based on the words they used), I was hesitant, but they had the best price on the Honda I wanted, so i gave them benefit of the doubt...and OMG! These guys were AWESOME!!!Me and my wife went there and saw the Honda we wanted. We spoke to the salesperson, Adam, and he was by far the most honest and up front used car salesperson we have ever dealt with.Heres where it seems like the other people that gave these guys negative reviews come in to play. The cars here are USED...not NEW, so do your homework before buying the car. What we did was take the car to Koons Honda for a pre-purchase inspection. We paid a decent price for the diagnostic at Honda, but we knew what we will get - period. The manager was very helpful and accommodating when it came to this, he allowed me to pick any Honda Dealer and take it to them for the inspection.In the end, we knew what the car may need in the coming months, what was already done and so forth. So we knew what we were getting. We were very happy with our purchase and dealing with Adam, so much so that our neighbor ended up getting a car for their son from the same place as well.

In a word: HorribleThe owner or honcho of this place Adam will sell a car right out from under you while you go and get your Cashiers check out from the bank to pay it in full. Even after you drove all the way out there to bum**ck negotiated and agreed on a price and a time to come back and purchase.Do not be fooled by their low prices, they are good prices yes, and I bargained him down a few hundred (only to give it right back in the processing fee) but I know what I am doing with auto/mechanical, I am very trained & skilled and was willing to accept some flaws (ciggarette burn holes in upholstery and shady statement about frame damage and repair on a Carfax) due to my specific needs with a used 2nd car. They are totally unprofessional and do not keep their word. Smooth talking and low pressure enough to make you think they are not archtypical slimy sales people but in the end they are just that. IMO AVOID.

I went to Auto Expo in Manassas, VA for a used car for my 16 year old daughter- her first car. This was to be an exciting time for her but it quickly turned into that bad used car experience. She found the car she had been looking for, a Mazda 3- we took it for a test drive & it ran well and looked to be in overall good shape except for the minor expected scuffs that you will find in a used car. I am not a mechanic and this was my first time buying a used car. (I have learned a lot now though) We purchased the car and drove off the lot at 7:00 pm on Monday night and drove 20 miles home with no problems. Tuesday while getting familiar with it we discover the trunk release button doesnt work from the inside. OK we missed that, but it is a used car. Then we see that she can use the driver side controls to put the passenger window down but it wont go up from there. OK- again used car we will deal with it. On Wednesday morning she drives the car and the check engine light comes on, she takes it for a diagnostic check. Bad coolant thermostat- we have had the car for less than 30 hours- Call the dealership and I am told not their problem. I understand the AS-IS for a used car but seriously less than 30 hours & you can see that it wasnt driven by the miles on the car! They know damn well what they sold us and knowing it was a 16 year old girl driving it! No moral compass and horrible business practices! Please save your time money and safety and stay away from this establishment!Update: The business contacted me back and they did repair the thermostat at no cost to me.

A great experience with a little funny folks at Auto Expo. Abdul is a super-efficient auto and financial manager who quickly gets to the point on our table, but very nicely flexible too. Sahr is a funny guy who likes to softly welcome customers. This is a great team. They enjoy selling cars professionally. If you come here, you will find something quite different from other dealers. It is a friendly place to accommodate your needs. But they do not have many cars, so you will normally come here not as the first entry point but just as one of many dealers you visit and most likely already a bit tired after a long day. You may also want to check the local cluster of dealers in the area (only one road). Compared to those in Arlington etc, Auto Expo do not necessarily have fancy used cars. We recently decided to buy a Honda car (2010) with a little less than 50k miles. The price was comparable to best offers available in the country (usually other states). It looked like around 1000 USD lower than the market prices near Washington DC (Manassas is a bit far from DC but they are in 10-15 mins from Route 66). I and my wife like this choice. The car runs very well (we are hoping it will run like this as many years as possible). They also provide financing, which is good to those who have immediate cash constraints. They are fast in this too. I do not think any auto dealers are 100% trust-worthy at the end (due to the nature of their business - well, information is very asymmetric between buyers and sellers/dealers), but what matters is whether we already identify what we want (especially what types of cars we want and under what conditions). If you are lucky, Auto Expo may give you a good experience as their cars are generally still with low mileage and the prices are excellent. When we actually negotiated to have a discount for another Honda car to get a price less than 8,000, they posted 7,999 next morning. I like their responsiveness. Sorry at the end, we decided to take a more expensive one! Abdul, are you sure you are selling 40 cars a month?Update-1: Within a week, decided to bring the car to Honda service station in Fairfax to check the brakes. Diagnostics pointed to a couple of problems. It cost around 400 USD to bring it back to a good condition before going to a series of mountainous roads in the weekend.

I just purchased a Nissan Murano from them which is awesome!!!!!! and Abdul (salesman) was really nice. I am a first time car buyer (from a car lot) and was surprised that they go and get my hard tags for me. This is where the problem lies. A week before my temp tags expired I received a call from Abdul asking me to take my car through DC inspection so I did because my tags were to expire on the 24th of august so I did I mailed him the papers Tuesday he received them on Thursday but no hard tags when I called to question about it he said he would mail me some more temp tags because I work and is unable to drive the hour and a half down there. The tags never came called him yesterday to tell him to just give me my hard tags because now my new truck is just sitting. he made it seenm like it was all my fault because I got the inspection a week before the tags expired but the DC DMV was open Friday and Tuesday so now my husband had to take off work and drive all the way to Manassas for more temp tags. this experience really sucks! but I would say they did give me a great deal my truck runs great but all this tag stuff is a nightmare3more weeks has passed now on my 3rd set of temp tags I called to ask why this is taking so long Abdul told me that I was being annoying cursed me out and hung up on me. then he brought me some more temp tags to my job then lied and said that I would have my hard tags in a week now a few more days passed he is unreachable!!!!! I dont know what to do at this point I think they over charged me fro taxes tags and title thats why they wont allow me to go and get my own tags but that still wouldnt make since though I guess ill git a new set of temp tags every month until I decide to get another car!!!! THEY CLAIM ITS BECAUSE IM FROM DC AND THEY IN VA BUT THAT SOUNDS LIKE A LIE TO ABDUL IS FULL OF CRAPSO SAD!132 days later they found the title and have my hard tags this is the worst experience I have ever had stressed and irritated to no end I WILL NEVER BUY FROM A SIDE DEALER AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY ABDUL IS A LIAR DONT BELIEVE A WORD OUT OIF HIS MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!
