Fun little breakfast/brunch place. Surprisingly they had alcohol too. I am sure it’s not just a breakfast place as they had wide menu. But we went there for breakfast. Really liked the food. Service was okay. Not great. They never come and asked if we wanted anything. But overall, it was a good place to get a quick bite. Fresh orange juice was great!
Love this place, everyone is so friendly and my food is always very tasty. Prices are fair here as well!! Which makes me wanna order often. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to do Togo a bit different. My sandwich was great except I wasnt able to eat the lettuce or tomato on it due to it being obliterate by heat. The container was full of water from fried chicken being put right into a box with no air holes. Chicken might can rest for a min and then put into a box with air holes. LTO always goes on the side for Togo along with condiments.
The food was decent. The omelette was a bit flat, but it tasted nice. The home fries were lovely and complemented the omelette well... The was grease all over the box and bag from the extra bacon ordered. The bread and jelly/jam ordered as a side was not included. No knife or spoon, only 2 forks, and no napkins or seasonings (salt/pepper). The driver was polite and got here in a reasonable amount of time. Might visit again if the mood strikes me...
Best waffles and orange juice ever, waffles were fluffy, decorated nice and tasted really good. Orange juice was fresh from the squezer.
I’ve been to the Omelette Cafe twice and both times I enjoyed the food which is why I’m giving any stars at all, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. I went to this restaurant for the third time today about an hour before their online listing says they close. When I entered, the open sign was on, the staff were in the building and the door was completely opened, but I was greeted with a “We’re closed”. When I said with surprise, “Oh, you’re open sign is on and your website says 4 PM”, he says again very curtly in between bites of food, “We’re closed.” This will be the last time I or my family come to the Omelette Cafe and it’s unfortunate because the food is actually decent and we had plans to make this our weekend eat-out place. There are plenty of tasty eats around here. Customer service is paramount.
One of my favorite places to get breakfast in the area!! I have liked everything I have tried off the menu!!
A great little spot to bring the family for an early breakfast. The owners are so down to earth and the food is simply amazing they also have fresh squeezed orange juice. My top four plates for breakfast are the union Station, hog heaven with a bagel, 8oz NY strip steak with eggs and home fries, and their French toast. They also make my son a mini plate of scrambled eggs and two sausage links. You cant go wrong with any item on their menu. My wife loves this hidden gem and she visits frequently. Please support this local business during these difficult times. Muchismas gracias por su servicio y la attencion.SincerelyElvis & Susana
Great food! Great staff!Weve never had an O.K. meal here. Always top notch!! If youre not into fries ask for the artichoke/heart of palm salad as your side. No additional cost and absolutely delicious!Great Chop Salad. Great mushroom Swiss burger. And the Union House breakfast omelette is wonderful!Try it..... Youll like it!
Its a bit far from home for me but I visit the Omelette cafe twice a year like clockwork. Its always excellent! I just had the breakfast special which was eggs benedict with lox, asparagus, and potatoes. It was top notch!
Best Omelette & waffles I have ever tasted!! OJ is delicious, it’s fresh squeezed and reminded me of my childhood in Eritrea. I don’t know what’s better the food or how fast it’s made. Never ever close!! Union Station Omelette yum!!
The food at this Location was pretty good. The only problem was the waitress was not very helpful or attentive. The kitchen Staff was very friendly and hard working. Most Customers had to refill their own coffee which was unfortunate after asking the waitress for help. We had a table for 4; yet when we asked for napkins were given Only 2.
The food was good. Service was terrible. Someone needs to train the servers on proper etiquette, making sure that the customer has all the silverware needed which should include a spoon. As I mentioned etiquette, if one of the tables needs a condiment, you just dont take that condiment from another table (were customers are sitting) without asking the customer first. Common sense
This place is really good. Solid breakfast. Great service. Decent coffee. Well priced. Dont skip this place.
Nice and homey. Good food too.
Our favorite Sunday breakfast place. It can get busy.
Very good eggs Benedict and a freshly squeezed orange juice. Good service.
Didnt actually eat here. It was packed. We waited 15 minutes by an empty table, while servers passed many times. Left and went to a different place down the road. The food looked good, but there were tables packed with dirty dishes and people that still had not been given drinks or had their order taken after being sat down. Assuming staffing shortage.
We were at The Omelette Cafe on Sunday morning.usually we come around 9 am My husband had something to do so we couldn’t make it on time so were late. When we got there restaurant was steaming packed people waiting for tables outside .We had to wait for 25 minutes for a table we understood it is a small place with really good food and services was great they work as a team 🍳 🥞 🥓..Thank you so much Omelette cafe
With trying to get back to normalcy this dive was on point. The food was great, service was good. Came out in a timely fashion. I recommend this spot if your wanting a hot cooked breakfast.. old school way.. Love it! Keep up the good work.
Hadnt been here in a while, so we went on a Saturday morning. We were one of two tables in the entire restaurant, yet the service was a bit slow. We waited almost 25 minutes for our food (a simple omelet and French toast). The toast was a bit soggy, and somehow only toasted on one side. The omelet was also smaller than I remember it being in the past. Having said that - the food is okay for the price, but I feel like they could speed up the process.
I love this place! Great food, friendly staff! Affordable prices!
Very tasty, well priced. Had an excellent omlet, not overly large and came with a bagel. Ill be coming back to try dinner options soon.
Really nice place. Staff is very friendly, Jonathan was our server and was awesome! Service is great. Food is great as well. Just a nice little place. My wife really liked her Mimosa!
Great home cooked breakfast. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The absolute best breakfast food I have ever had. Highly recommend!
Very casual setting! Great breakfast menu! Excellent omelettes!
Open up for dinner again please!! We miss having your restraunt as an option for great food and an easy dinner night.Great food and really nice family bussines with friendly faces. I love the hog heaven omlette and home fries. Price is agreeable as well.
The experience was bad.I found a fly in my food which was very disturbing and the only thing they could do was to give me a 10% discount on the pasta. What if my little siblings has that and didn’t notice there was a fly. Feeling disappointed
A lovely family owned Cafe. 12 tables indoors and a couple outside, but always packed during normal mealtimes. Food is reasonably priced and tasty.(No frozen vegetables that I could find). Service is prompt for a small staff. Its my favorite local restaurant to come eat, work and listen to a podcast using free wifi.
Some good food the stake and eggs good the home fries are as well. Good service friendly staff very clean good price.
Food was excellent. Service was mediocre. Very good value for Sunday brunch.
First time eating there, and it was great! We had breakfast, but will be back to try lunch and dinner items.
Great food and wonderful service. Definitely a place we frequent! Also, try the OJ, it is well worth it.
Best breakfast I have ever had.
Fresh squeezed OJ that makes the whole breakfast experience worth it. Simple, delicious, consistently good.
This spot hit the spot with me today. Try the squeezed orange juice. Mighty good. With coffee and French omelette platter.
Great food. Good portions and definitely good prices. Would definitely go again!
This place was incredible! So very helpful. We had a large party and they willingly accommodated us. The food was fresh and very savory. Many great menu options made it hard to choose. The service was top notch. The fresh squeezed juices were the best Ive ever had. Well done guys and gals well done.
There was only one waitress(bless her heart) the food was excellent and understandably service was slow, but it was great service and the food was excellent with very generous sized portions!! This was my first visit and I will return!!
This is a horrible place to come spend your money, mediocre food and NASTY customer service!!!! I would definitely NOT recommend The omelette cafe.
Decent portions, food was flavorful. A little long on the wait for service but manageable. Im not from here but next time Im in town I definitely would stop by for breakfast again!
Great food and right next to a music store and bar...couldnt ask for more.
Great food, great service... thats why it was busy!
I had to give this awesome place a review since you come in they are happy to help you we had this sweet boy as our waiters he was attentive .That place is really clean their bathroom is decent .The food was amazing I had a special Omelette everything was fresh they also have a fresh squeezed orange juice I am going to definitely come back ‘’
Great service. Food was amazing.
Underwhelming and disappointing. The food tasted fine and I’m obviously not going to have fancy takeout expectations for presentation but IMO not worth the price for what we got. It’s called the omelette cafe so I had a very different idea when I ordered an onion, spinach, and sausage omelet. The onion was not diced, it was literally just one inch chunks. The cheese tasted like kraft, and I thought the sausage would be better than just their breakfast links cut up. Won’t be back.
We drove by this place and decided to stop by on our way back. It FAR exceeded my expectations. Our service was beyond prompt and the food was amazing! The Eggs Benedict was amazing! The coffee could be stronger/better but everything else made up for that.
I simply love their dishes. I always get great service there. The place is always clean and the workers are always helpful. Will visit here again.
Care and detail is amazing. The food and staff are the reasons to keep.coming back
Terrific little Cafe!I stopped in here while in Manassas on a business trip! Really really good food, just a delightful little place!
Excellent little spot for breakfast! Food was so great and stayed hot through the whole meal with their really hot plates. Staff was personable, friendly, and efficient, especially Jonathan. We plan to return frequently now that weve discovered it!
Great little place. Super friendly staff. Delicious food served up quick.
I got the Eggs Benedict and my fiancé got the Union Station omelet. The food was good. My sauce was extra tart which was a little different but good. I also switched the home fries for the fruit salad (fruit on a plate) which was good. My fiancé got the bagel as his bread side which was so wonderfully buttered and warmed. We didnt realize you can get your own water from the soda machine because thats where they get it. We also didnt get seated or served immediately so you may have to get someones attention so they know a new person came in. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday and had no problem with business or parking. I gave a 4 for lacking service.
2nd time, called and food was not ready upon arrival, lady cashier could not find our order, after driving off and opening the bag of food, we realized that everything that we ordered and requested was not in the bag. We called and talked to a nice lady, told her about how our order was lacking, she said that she would remember us and we can return another time...First time, called and placed order, food was ready upon arrival, and the pancakes were good and hot!
Great food, good prices but floor could be a bit cleaner.
First time there and i was impressed! The orange juice was freshly squeezed. Food was amazing. Great place
I loveee this place. Breakfast is delicious and the orange is fresh squeezed and soooo good!!! I am so glad l found the Omelette Cafe!!! It is my new favorite!
I usually come here 2 or more times a week here but lately the place cleaning is not good at all tables are sticky chairs that place needs to complete cleaning dont get me wrong i love the food there but the cleaning of the restaurant needs improvement is needed asap
Steak and eggs was pretty good.. Would go again
Always amazing food. Favorite breakfast place in town
DELICIOUS, fast, and great customer service love this place
Cant wait to return to this qaint little eatery that prepares food fit for kings
Such a great place for breakfast/brunch! Me and my best friend tried it out since the reviews were good and our experience surpassed our expectations. Eggs Benedict and chicken fajita omelette were both awesome and we got the special French toast to share and that was amazing. She got fresh squeezed orange juice and it definitely fell nothing short of fresh squeezed. Our waiter was awesome and very attentive, every bite was worth it!
Best food in town :) my husband and I enjoy the breakfast there
Went here for breakfast.no one else was there. food came out wrong twice. The order was steak and eggs with an order of pancakes. Eggs scrambled well no cheese steak medium well and pancakeS. Steak comes out medium rare eggs are over easy and 1 pancake. Told the server the eggs were supposed to be scrambled well (for the 2nd time). They came out scrambled but still runny. The server sent out the manager who had an attitude with us telling us he already made the eggs twice. I also pointed out the steak was not cooked to the right temperature. He then started to get a little loud so I decided we were just going to take out business else where. The manager then started snatching plates from the table saying fine leave. NEVER GO HERE! WORST SERVICE EVER!
On the outside the restaurant appears to be a local business like any other but once you enter, you travel to a small quaint building with lots of history and a peaceful diner vibe. I ordered an egg sandwich which was comprised of two eggs, cheese, and my choice of meat. I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese after having confirmed they are ordered locally. Upon receiving the food, I was blown away. The bagel was amazingly fresh and the egg sandwich tasted similar to ones I make at home. Topping it all off is a menu full of delicious entrees at excellent prices big enough to satisfy everyone and small enough to help you decide. This is my new favorite breakfast location.
It was average breakfast food and decent price. I was honestly more concerned with the workers and managers not following COVID 19 policies and not wearing their mask. As well as seeing kitchen staff not wearing their masks makes me concern about the sanitation practices they have when making the food. I was happy to try them but just disappointed in the lack of mask enforcing especially during these times as well as the lackluster food. Will not try again. However, I got my food in orderly time. Just not the place for me.
Amazing food.. great mom and pop eatery. freshly squeezed orange juice and fantastic omelets. Cant wait to go back here when I come to visit my family.
My husband and I typically love this place and come here often. They usually have great food even though the service can be lacking sometimes. On Saturday 10/31, we went for a late brunch/lunch. My husband ordered an omelette with home fries, bagel, bacon, and coffee. I ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, a plain medium well cheeseburger with fries, and a coke. My coke was a little flat but I wasnt going to complain about something trivial. We were expecting to get the appetizer before the main meals but it came out with the meals. When the food was about to come out, our waiter said that they were out of fries and were going to give me onion rings. My husband told him that I hate onion rings, and then waiter offered home fries instead multiple times. I told him that I am very particular with what I eat and will not eat either of those options. If I had known that there were no fries (which I should have been told at the time of order), then I would have picked a different dish. The mozzarella stick appetizer came out with a side of ranch. We asked for the marinara sauce. The waiter came back to say that there was no marinara sauce. Who eats mozzarella sticks with ranch?! I would have not ordered the appetizer had I know this. But anyway, I had my burger to eat, which I put on mayo and ketchup. I bit into my burger and it was bloody red inside. So I cut it down the middle and the whole burger was red. We brought this to the attention on our waiter, and I told him that I ordered this medium well. My husband had already eaten most of his meal when my burger was brought back out to me. I noticed some red on the outside of my burger, and it was ketchup. When I took the bun off of my burger, it was the same burger patty (already cut up) with the cheese, mayo, and ketchup (but a different bun), and the cook had just recooked it on the griddle (confirmed by the waiter when we asked him). I am quite sure this is against health code and is a violation since I had already bitten into it. I was not going to eat this burger. My whole meal had been ruined. We brought this to the attention of our waiter b/c we didnt want to pay for my portion of the meal that had been ruined. Our waiter was sympathetic and said that he had to talk to the manager about getting food comped. All of a sudden, we heard a very loud heated conversation in Spanish in the back with lots of yelling from the female manager. Our waiter came back and regretfully said that only a portion of the meal would be refunded. The manager never came to speak to us about what happened or tried to rectify the situation. And it wasnt like the place was packed; there were only two other tables occupied while we were there. I am quite disappointed in our experience for that day, and I am not sure when or if we will be back.
I love this little cafe, I go out of my way to come here. The food is amazing and the orange juice is freshly squeezed.
Ordered steak and eggs steak was season and cooked perfectly service was prompt and polite. Will be back
Great food good prices quick service my go to restaurant.
Family owned and operated. Very friendly staff. Very good food and reasonably priced. Fresh squeased OJ is very yummy! My family eats here frequently for breakfast/brunch.
One of my favorite family owned spots!!!
