Why those people on line say we r close at 5pm?..why ?..& the main door say close at 3pm..made me waste my time I drove from Dumfries to Manassas, when I get there,they were close

Is so SAD than I cant just review to one person in this place: Bridgette is the most professional and very hard worker in this branch, always the phone in this place fall in rings and nobody answer it, except this lady, she is always happy and available to help to the costumers she take care without excepción, dont matter if youre a small or huge company or just get the stuffs for personal use, she always try hard to help us and solved your answers.She always save the day for everyone!!!!Is unfair that her boss and co-workers not value this great sales represent (and person)like the costumers do!!!!!!

I’ve ordered material from here many times and have been doing so for a while. I am very disappointed with the customer service I’ve experienced. The people helping with orders are friendly, but the ones who work in the back, not so much. Everyone seems to have a attitude problem.My orders are almost always delayed or something just happens to be wrong with them. There have been times where I was told the order is ready and when I came in, material hadn’t even been cut. A recent order of mine, they did the wrong cuts on the material and the guy who does the cuts, Christopher tells me that’s not what I paid for when In fact I had the order slip that clearly showed the type of cut I had requested. First he was refusing to do the cuts for me and was being very rude about cutting them a second time. When I came in to pick up the recuts which were delayed by almost three weeks, same guy Christopher was literally yelling at us when I asked about the cuts. Also, that’s not the first time I’ve had that experience with him. So, that’s what you get for being a loyal customer. Great job BMG!

I think their prices are good and the people are always nice. Im just a hobbyist who doesnt spend more than $100 when I go and they still treat me really nice.

I use them as my primary supplier of Aluminum Pipe. They always have it in stock to meet my needs. Have offered to bring in extra quantity to their distribution point here in Manassas so that if I need a bit extra I can just run down and get it. I understand some of the people below must think this is home depot filled with customer service and going to everyone needs but it is not. Their primarily job is metal distribution. The experience here is perfectly normal for people who need a very large assortment of metal products and fab in a decent amount of time and best price in the area.

I needed some steel fabricated. Very helpful, reasonable costs. After showing up, they cut the steel, and I was in out within 30 minutes. Thanks for the great service.

Im not sure why people have this place.... they have pretty good service and their lead times are pretty good. Delivery is usually spot on and they have a good reputation for reliability. The only reason they got 4 stars in stead of 5 is because of their pricing. It can be a little higher than others but other than that its a good company.

Spoke with Ms. Comer about a particular need I had for steel pipe. She recommended an alternative that saved me over $150 and completely satisfied the need for the project I had in mind. Was about 30% less than Winchester Metals quote. The materials were cut and ready for pick up the next day. I have done business in the past with BMG in Richmond and Manassas and will continue to do more with them in the future.R

I just place an ordered completely unprepared for what I needed.The lady was so patient and nice and helped me to workout what I had in my head into a correct order. They will cut the pieces and deliver next day.

Busy, are you serious, yes busy gouging prices since other suppliers are too far or out of business.Watch out for hidden fees, hidden for $200 purchase, 5% handling charge, 1% Prince William County tax, another 1% regional trans tax (wth is this?), VA 6% tax. $25 cutting charge because it wouldnt fit on the truck they wouldnt let me buy it. Also taxed the cutting labor charge, not allowed. Wait Im not finished, instead of 4.3% tax that was suppose to be charged it was really 4.52%, so with $100m in revenue, that over $200k in extra revenue, nice. Price gouging practice, price went up $5 per stick in the one day between quoting and picking up.The tension is so thick in the place you can cut it with a butter knife. Allow at least 2 hours for ordering, cutting and loading. The material is fine, its stored inside the only reason I gave it more than one star. They need to diversify the employees if you get my drift. The service speaks for itself from other reviews.

Excellent service and prices. Could have gotten what I needed close by in Gaithersburg, but Id rather drive down to BMG because they are so much more reasonable than any place around here. Definitely worth the drive!

Ive been waiting here long enough to read every review written as well as write my own. The people up front are friendly but painfully slow. The people in the back are unfriendly and painfully slow. Luckily i only visit here for materials for my hobbies. I have a hard time understanding why any professional would use this place though. It always takes atleast two hours, from my experience, to receive materials. Ive called my order in every time before my arrival and have never needed to have anything cut. Plan on spending a solid 30 minutes just looking for an employee to assist you. They do seem to have a good selection of materials and the prices seem fair (I have very little to base that off of) but the customer service is awful at best.

Front desk all time busy, hard to get help. Back in dispatch area it is really hard to find someone to help you. If metal needed, costumers really have to have patience.

Not within price range of a home hobbyist. I had a dxf file for a 5x3 welding table I wanted cut. The seller of the dxf file indicated that most places should do the cut and the steel for $300-$500 range. The table can be purchased online from a shop in California for approx $1000-$1200 plus shipping. I asked for a quote and received a quote of $8,000.00. Perhaps I am new to the hobby of metal working, but it is far too expensive for me.

Our company has ordered sheets of steel pre sheared to size a few times from BMG in Manassas... so far so good. Lady in the office has been responsive delivery times are about a week out for sterling va.

Just talked to the district manager, Nancy. The moment she picked up the phone, I knew it was not going to be a pleasant ordering experience; she had a nasty toned voice throughout the whole conversation and refused to cut my material until everything has been paid for. Weird, because Ive been ordering materials from this place for a quite a while now without having to pay it all during the phone order.If you decide to order from BMG, make sure youre not talking to Nancy.

Everyone hates there fricking job !! Told me couldnt cut pipe .then he could after I said Ill wait ..then blew me off ..said could wait but be afternoon ..then I said take it .meanwhile man walks in gets pipe the other man said no problem to cut it now ....mean while I go back get pipe and the plate man was complaning ..standing around hiding very obvious. ..the young man in hot rolled .was busy and good spirits the other man sitting on phone ....its a shame ..cause metal places are cool ....but this place suuuuuuuucks ......wish I could video this place .Im watching while I wait man walking to dumpster now standing next to it and looking around. ....every one is in slow motion ..funny to watch how they trip over each other not to do something. ..

They are really busy and have to deal with people like me dont really know how to talk metal. I can understand how some people think they are rude, but as a business owner I think I know the difference between rude and busy. They are just really busy, even finding parking is difficult some days. They are professional and know what they are doing, just dont expect them to baby you, they are far to busy for that. I gave 4 stars because there is always room for improvement.

Receiving 6am till 2pm

Ive never had the opportunity to see how there customer service is or how rude the people who work there are because everytime i go there they are closed. You say you close at 5pm but you really close at 3pm. Banks are open later than yall are. Damn!!

Very poorly run by disrespectful people (Nancy). Everyones cost is different depending on what they think you should pay. Ive never encountered such terrible customer service.

Piss poor communication between the office and the the guys in the warehouse. I called at 8:30 and paid for the steel over the phone so it would be ready to go when I got there. Well at 11:00 when I got there my steel wasnt even pulled yet.

They stock alot of stainless and aluminum, but watch out get secondary prices I ran into this one sales guy for years each time hundreds and hundreds more not 20$ diff
