Cannot recommend Banner Ford enough(especially Les Dodd). Bought my White Explorer in July before our second daughter was born. Les was so helpful in the process and we were very pleased. Along comes Hurricane Ida and the White Explorer is declared a total loss. I emailed Les and the first day Banner was reopened he was in contact with me and had a new Explorer lined up ready to go. He (and the rest of the crew there) made the process so seamless and we were in and out with new car keys in hand quickly and efficiently. I will continue to return to Banner Ford and will recommend to our local family and friends. Thank you to Banner and Les for all the help!

Horrible service department. Will not give a female a chance to explain what the problem with the Vehicle is. Assuming because a female does not know basically what they’re talking about is how I felt. Not a admitting that the problem could be something that they did yesterday on my truck instead of telling me it could be 10 other things wrong with it and cost me up to $3000 if that was the case yes I did ask how much it would cost because I need to know exact amount to see if I have the finances to fix the problem. Yes I may be a female but I do know a few things about the vehicle I drive. Yes my truck wouldn’t run probably today and it was because the service department didn’t probably tighten all parts.
My husband and I bought our car from Jonathan and the whole experience was a breeze. We are from Houston and drove all the way to Louisiana to pick up the car and from beginning to end Jonathan was amazing from the communication to transparency he excelled. I wanted to take the time to commend Banner Ford on having excellent and thoughtful employees. This afternoon my husband and I were stuck in front of a shopping center with a dead battery. As we were calling for road side assistance Mr. Jason Lane, the service manager at Banner, noticed that we needed help as he was leaving a store. Without hesitation he offers to help out by going to the shop and grabbing Banner’s emergency road vehicle to jump start the battery. He came back roughly 30 mins later ready to help out and although road side assistance was already there he told us to come to the shop the next day to get the problem taken care of. We wanted to thank Mr. Jason for his altruism, thoughtfulness, and for taking time out of his day to offer assistance. We will definitely be using Banner for our car service needs in the future.

Bought 2017 Ford F150 April 2018 with 28,440 miles. In Jan 2020 brought it in...heater core was leaking with under 50,000 miles. They quoted me 1,700 to replace. Why did a heater core go bad with under 50k mi? I even called Ford headquarters. Long story short, they would not cover. Then charged me 130+ to diagnose. Someone did me a favor & by passed it so I could still drive. But Ive been freezing in winter. Id NEVER recommend Banner Ford in Mandevilleto anyone.

I’ve visited this dealership three days ago to possibly purchase a 2021 platinum F150 yet no one from the sales team took it upon themselves to come out and work with me. I have a 2015 Mercedes ML 350 BLUETEC! All the salespeople did was watch me through the windows and not come out to even ask if I had any questions!!! RICK, do something to help your salespeople because they will hold your company back!! I have horrible video to prove this but I can’t upload a video. I’ll take snapshots of some of it to show you I did in fact visit!

I have a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. I was visiting from out of town and needed a front end alignment. I went to Banner Ford at my brothers suggestion and have absolutely nothing bad to say about my visit. Service was prompt and courteous. I also had them diagnose an annoying creaking in my steering that my Dodge dealership back home said they needed 3 days to diagnose. Thank you so much Banner Ford! My service adviser tried so put a good spin on the situation so I give him credit for that. Thats why I gave 2 stars, also the service mechanic was knowledgeable about the situation.I paid $130 for a diagnoses on my ford f150 2005 but I never received the service I paid for. Long story short I have a complicated engine situation because it has 375k miles and is on engine 2 I wanted to know why it was rough idling but was told they wouldnt properly diagnose the engine because of the miles and I had the cats removed . When I explained the Cats werent the cause they didnt want to go into the engine because of the miles and they could be held liable. The diagnosis wasnt properly completed for this reason. If they gave me a refund for the service Id give 5 stars, but I paid the full amount, although the diagnosis wasnt completed for the above reason. Sad situation I learned nothing further about the engine situation although I feel the mechanic could properly diagnosis it he didnt I may need to go back and approach the situation with him outside of the dealership. At this point I feel a full refund is in order because they didnt diagnose the engine.

I am a female. So when I entered the building for assistance, every man sitting in his office looked over at me, but NO ONE so much as waved at me. Fortunately, a female salesperson approached with the kindest and most friendly presence.Once we established which vehicle was right for me and we chose which one I would be purchasing, the sales lady began right away with paperwork, and as soon as my information came back to proceed forward with the purchase...THEN the men suddenly became friendly and welcoming.....Sadly this problem exists with most car lots, so I am only taking one star away from my rating for it.Other than that, I had a positive experience overall. I feel confident in my purchase and in their warranties. If I decide to switch into another Ford vehicle in the future, I will definitely be returning to this dealership... so long as Ms. Phine is still there!

I took my truck in to get the plugs changed. When I picked it up the service person told me all that they did. Reset the computer to make it shift smoother,Checked the battery, and test drove it. Well it went stalled out at the first stop light. Immediately drove back and told service person what happened. He said to bring it back so the best mechanic could look at it. Upon getting home I opened the hood and looked. First thing was battery terminal caroded, wire was nicked from plug replacement, and a couple of other things.I WILL NEVER BRING A VEHICLE TO THEM OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THEM.

My routine service was done promptly and properly. Service personnel are friendly and efficient. Waiting area clean and well-equipped and the price was very reasonable. I bought my Escape here four years ago, and have never had anything but good experiences at Banner.
I’ve been to this dealership 6 times in the last 6 months. Everyone I talked to in the service department were extremely rude. I don’t expect anyone to go out of there way to make me happy but just being cordial would go a long way. Please do something about the way your facility is being managed. I Would NEVER RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYONE, I’m going to give you one more shot and then I’m driving to Slidell.
DO NOT trust this organization. Called 5/10/21 evening, confirmed the online price of a truck with Les Dodd, he confirmed it but wanted to check with his sales manager AJ DeLaneuville. The next day they sent me a quote for $4,329 more than what was online. And now the online price has increased, overnight while I waited on a written quote to confirm what both I and Les saw online. This truck had been priced online the same for 2 months, and then changes overnight when I call about it. And then the quote they sent me is still higher than the online price today. They are trying to add in additional equipment above the MSRP. Attached are photos showing the the bait and switch scam dated with the screen shots. The integrity of this entire organization is at question given these tactics. Steer clear.

Horrible customer service. Went in to get a new key, when I walked in everyone just starred. When I told them I need a new key it was silent finally someone said they’ll do it. I was there for a hour until they called me and said they didn’t have the key in stock. Called today and no one answered.
HUGE sign on the doors stating masks mandatory yet the less than friendly person at the desk was not wearing one. (I personally hate wearing one, but my job requires it and I do as told)Was completely turned off by her lack of customer service. There are ways to speak to people and she needs some training on how to not sound condescending and answer questions without the undertone that the customer is stupid. Definitely wont be back.

My recent experience was wonderful at Banner Chevy in NOLA off of Chef Highway! Both gentlemen that helped square away all the necessary things needed to buy my first car! Myron helped with finding the perfect car for me, he was knowledgeable and listening to what we wanted in order to help us find the car I wanted! After Myron helped find the dream car for me, we were sent to Mr. Rick, who helped explain things in regular words so we could understand them! There he helped us handle the car note expense and any warranty that we wanted as well as helping us with the payment so! I brought my 2015 F-150 Platinum truck back to the dealership because of heavy brake noise. Sounded like backing up a 18 wheeler. This was third attempt to get the service department to correct the problem. All I got back were excuses. Cold brakes, semi metallic brakes pads make noise, and theres nothing we can do. I was passed on to 3 different service manager over 4 days. No communication just passed on the problem. I also brought my company work truck to Banner for a oil change. They said rear pads were down so i had them changed. They also make noise. I had them change the spark plugs. That truck is now in a service shop at Baytown tx Ford after stalling not being able to restart. i will never go back to this dealership. I purchase two new trucks at Banner. They just lost a great customer.
I went to Banner to have my vehicle serviced. I was having quite a few things done and my service advisor Rachel helped me. She kept me informed about my vehicle, got tires for me last minute and answered all my questions. Shes great. Ill definitely go back to have my vehicle serviced in the future. Thanks!

Hands down THE BEST SALES EXPERIENCE I have ever had at a dealership (corporate or independent) thanks to Russ! From start to finish, Russ was honest and upfront, no tricks, no games, no tactics. This was our 4th dealership we had stopped at in search of a new F250 so needles to say we were starting to get extremely overwhelmed and nauseated with all the unnecessary back and forth we had just endured. We explained our situation and where we needed to be, Russ went straight to work with the numbers and we came to a fair agreement for both parties. We recently completed a wonderful trip from Illinois to the New Orleans area to visit our son and his family. Late in the day, as we approached Louisiana, we had the misfortune to run over part of a truck tire on Interstate 55. Immediately following this incident we began to hear a noise coming from the area of the rear tire on the passenger side of the car. We immediately stopped the car and saw that part of a plastic shield had been torn loose and was hanging down. We were unable to either put the shield back in place or remove it. With no Ford Dealers in the area and with only a relatively short distance to go to reach our destination we decided to continue. However, as we picked up speed the broken shield began to make a terrible racket.We soon reached our destination in Madisonville, LA and not knowing the extent of the damage to the shield or any components that the shield may have been protecting we brought our Ford C-Max into Banner Ford first thing in the morning to see if the damage could be repaired. Your staff quickly understood the predicament we were in as out of state travelers and assured us that they would do everything possible to get our car checked out quickly.By mid-afternoon we received a call from the Service Dept. that our vehicle had been checked out and the only problem was that the shield located near the rear passenger side tire had become detached and that there was no other damage. We were further advised that the shield had been reattached and that the vehicle was ready to be picked up with NO CHARGE.We wished to share with you how appreciative we are for the understanding, kindness and generosity exhibited by all of the staff we spoke with and encountered in the Banner Ford Service Dept. Their assistance and help ensured that our trip was off to a carefree start.

I contacted the dealership (Jeff) about a 2020 Fusion listed on their website at a very low price. It was a loaner car used by customers so it had a big discount on it. He gave me a strange story that it wasnt available because a customer was using it. I asked why then is it listed as being for sale if it is not. He gave me the usual run around. A few hours later it mysteriously appeared on their website again, this time the price was $4,000 higher. Sounds like the typical bait and switch. Are their any reputable and ethical dealerships out there? If so please tell me because all the game playing is getting old.

They lied to me
Very nice salesman, Patrick. Not overbearing (as some can be). He listened to my requests and ordered the car I wanted as none were available. Terms were excellent. He kept in touch while waiting for my car to be built and delivered. I am extremely happy with my purchase. He has also kept in touch since I got my car. Very good overall experience.
Not very helpful
We traveled over an hour to purchase a pre-owned vehicle to have to walk away because of a $980 “seat and paint warranty” that comes “automatically installed on the truck” and MUST be purchased. What is truly disappointing is we called before traveling that far and spoke to a really nice salesman, who was willing to drop the asking price on the vehicle for the travel, which I thought was very nice. When working up the paperwork that was not offered, but we did not bring that up because we felt it insignificant since we truly liked the vehicle are we’re absolutely willing to pay full asking price. What we were not willing to do is purchase a $980 warranty that was NOT included in the asking price for the vehicle, however was mandatory to purchase to buy the vehicle. Just for clarity, this was an extra, separate warranty and not doc and tax fees. Next time be up front and value this “mandatory warranty” into your asking price for the vehicle, not as a surprise for customers when they sit down to purchase off your lot. Banner Ford, get some integrity.
