I found the staff to be rude, specifically the clinical staff. No patience, specifically with my child who was receiving an eye exam and trying to learn to use contact lenses. I left and went directly to Americas Best and will never look back. There are better places locally to get an exam and eyewear.

I got my prescription progressive glasses at the Mandeville, Louisiana location. They have great prices. The staff there is great with helping you. Hassle free experience, especially employee Jonathan. He was very polite and helpful. I will definitely go back there.

Dr. Timothy Leach is awesome! I had been battling a couple of eye problems for about a month. Thorough exam and assessment, diagnosed the issues, gave the RXs, and the problems resolved! Highly recommend!

Went back in 2014 because it was the only place my insurance covered and the service wasn’t anything special.Now, 5 years later they’re so friendly and welcoming. Totally different experience! My husband had an emergency eye appt and the staff went above and beyond. They got him in quickly and had to see him for several follow ups then they fit him in for an exam to update his prescription we were impressed.This year I told them issues I was having after years of not going and feeling like my original prescription wasn’t cutting it. They detected an issue that’s corrected now. I can comfortably wear contacts. Thank you so much!

I originally went to St Charles Vision when I had something in my eye and my doctors office wouldnt see me because it was too close to closing. Dr Cook, at St Charles Vision, was willing to wait for me to get there and she took good care of me. Ive been a customer ever since. Went for my annual exam Friday and met Dr Glaser. He was nice, thorough, very informative and willing to answer any questions I had. The staff greeted me when I entered, and have always been very helpful to me. The assistant who checked my eyes on the machines was also very informative and nice. She said she loved working there, and it showed!

Staying on top of Covid standards with temp checks when you come in and hand sanitizer. Service was quick and friendly.

I love St. Charles vision!! My husband and I both recently went there for eye exams and new glasses. The entire staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with us. Chris definately went the extra mile to make this picky girl a happy customer.

The only reason I am giving two stars is because the doc is great. Staff is just awful. They are not inviting or remotely welcoming. I could tell there was an issue between staff members, I could feel the tension. Also they are incompetent, they didnt follow any of the instructions the doctors gave. I went back picked up my trial pair of contacts and ran. Will never be back.

The center in Mandeville, LA. on causeway blvd.was above expectations!I flew in for a family emergency and forgot to bring my prescription glasses and only the one pair of contacts I was wearing, None of the big pharmacy’s on the north shore of the Lake had my prescription in stock. I called this store and talked with Chris and explained my situation and he immediately took care of me with a trial pair of contacts!Thanks Chris

Add poor quality lenses and glasses fit despite changing my prescription and re making the glasses. My husband and spent a miserable year fighting with glasses that were not comfortable that we could not see out of after tons of visits to readjust/fix. Poor customer service comments already posted by others describe our experiences on our multitude of visits as well. Dont waste your time or money.

I had a really negative experience at this vision center. The first doctor to check my eyes got my prescription completely wrong. My rx (no change on this visit) and astigmatism correction (we made a change)were wrong. One eye was much worse than the other, so when I went back to explain that my left eye was completely out of focus, a different doctor checked me but did not check my right eye. My new glasses came back and the right eye was seriously off. My right eye was rechecked by the first doctor... and it came back wrong again. The second doctor to see me saw me again on my fourth visit and I got another prescription change. This ordeal took 2 months to sort out.I spoke with the manager after, and for my troubles was given a pair of prescription sunglasses. If it had ended here, chances are that I would not have bothered to leave a review.Not only is my vision still noticeably off (I was so sick of dealing with this), follow up contact has been incredibly difficult. I requested my prescription and was told that one would be sent to my be email. It wasnt. I work long hours, and its difficult for me to get time off of work, so I requested a mailed copy. The mailed rx I received was the first rx I was given.... the WRONG one. I had to call back again, and it was finally offered to me to read it to me over the phone. However, Im concerned that there is no way I can trust this most recent rx to be the correct one for my glasses, and even if it is, its still the wrong rx overall. My vision is not in focus.Since I have eye insurance which covers 1 visit per year, I am stuck with this until my insurance resets. I will never return to this store.

Walked in not even a hello and looked at glasses for at least 30-35 min...no recognition of assistance offered. 3 employees playing on computer whole time...horrible customer service.

Terrible. Staff is lazy. Dont call when product is ready. Said text was sent but they lied. Never use this company. Over priced.
