Brought lawnmower pull start assembly. It was returned to me and was told the coil spring was sprung. This was correct. However the the gentleman told me he tried to order a reply spring (assembly), but Ace is not an authorized Husquarvana dealer and not allowed to order free them. I took the assistant to Mike’s Hardware in Slidell, La.Mike’s repairman safe, it goes by the engine, not the lawnmower brand when ordering parts. He saw no need for a replacement part and attached the spring back to its holder and it works fine.

There was always someone ready to help me find or load whatever I needed, even when they were extremely busy after the recent hurricane, Great local hardware here in mandeville that prevented me from having to drive into Covington and that was a big deal because gas was hard to find after the storm

So happy you stayed open as long as you could during this mess! My family appreciates it. Our favorite store for homeware supplies :(

It was good usually I know what I need but today didnt get his name the one who went outside the first time to cut a piece of PCP pipe and got wrong size and reckon was having a bad afternoon didnt like his attitude toward me but the other guy stepped up went got right size and had a wonderful smile and made sure I had everything I needed and right always had a good experience and all the help i ever needed

Love that there is an Ace close by my house and I dont always have to run to the big box stores. The sale associates are ALWAYS very helpful and friendly.

A good old fashioned hardware store that is still in our area. I like getting things from here as they have staff that are willing to help you if you need it. I hope the big box stores dont put these smaller places out of business as we need them here in our community.

I hate to make this public but ..... this place has the BEST garden flag assortment you will find!! We live on the other side of the State but come here every time we visit our daughter to add to my collection. Owners wife has a great eye for holiday nick nacks and I never leave empty handed.

The staff are very helpful at this Ace! When our local Ace doesn’t carry a product or tools or fittings or whatever we need....I always run to this Ace and they always have it in stock! They greet me immediately at the door and always assist me with whatever I need for that particular day!:)This time it was some fittings!

Clean and pleasant with very helpful service. The selection cant compete with the big boys, but its nice to shop small when you can. This one also has some nice decorative items. I wasnt able to find the plumbing valve I needed there, but Ill try again when I need something simpler.

Compared to the one close to my house this one is up there with The Best of them. Their customer service really stands out to me. It makes a huge difference, when you can tell that the employees go the extra mile to make you happy and satisfied.

As soon as you walk into this store you automatically love doing business here. This is a smaller, old fashioned, not big box hardware store. Abut it is a neighborhood store, very convenient, with knowledgeable staff. Many times they will have that specialty item you can’t get elsewhere. There prices are a little higher than the big stores, but you will find what you need quicker. They sell paint as well.

Great local hardware store. Best part of this local hardware is the knowledgeable staff. Unlike the big box stores, staff at mandeville ace can answer questions and point you in the right direction. In fairness, there are staff at lowes and hd that know enough to help but there are others who dont know much so its hit or miss, at least thats the experience of your most humble narrator. Prices are competitive, maybe not the cheapest but the convenience and knowledge are worth it.

The staff here is always so helpful and meets my needs every time I come in.

Would not allow me to return items I purchased. When purchasing them I asked if they would be able to be returned and I was told yes they would be as Lin as I have a receipt and they are unopened. I come in a week later to return said items and they have a sheet of paper on the desk saying I can’t return any items purchased on that day. I feel swindled! Will not be going back

Close to my house and convenient. The employees are courteous, friendly and helpful, except for the cashiers. I have never seen one crack a smile or utter a friendly comment in almost three years. They appear eternally unhappy.

Bought a hedge trimmer for months ago dropped it off for service not knowing diagnosis they were fixed without a phone call thought it was under warranty when I got there they charged me $60 for $15 worth of parts and five minutes of labor. Would not recommend and won’t be back!
