Three different times my tire light came on. The first time after two weeks of buying new tires there. They told me it was a nail. The second time after one day. The third time I was seven blocks away but had an appointment and couldn’t return. I had someone else check the pressure. All four tires had been set to exactly 26 lbs pressure instead of 32 so that within a short time it would trip the sensor and I would have to return. This is precisely why women hate having to take their cars in for service. Untrustworthy.

It is rare to find a trustworthy mechanic but the folks at globe tire have proven themselves worthy again and again. We recommend to our friends with full confidence. They are honest, easy to work with, good communicators, and the things we need repaired stay fixed over time.

Needed wheel realignment. Promised itd be done in an hour. Very busy day, so I didnt think much of it. Wait time ended up being 3 hours. They broke the Lug Nuts and claimed they didnt have the parts to replace them. Charged far more than what I was quoted for the service. They resisted in ordering the parts to replace the Lug Nuts, after repeated calls on their status. I felt like I was punished for their mistake.Do not go to them. Id rather go to a dealership for the amount they tried charging...

Ask for Brett, he stayed late so i could drop my car w a flat. They had my second choice tire in stock. Fair deal all in all. The installer cleaned up the wheels from any grease from the install and dressed the rubber. Great local tire shop.

The front desk employee complained of how busy they were and didnt have time to give me a quote on wheels and tires...at a wheels and tires shop. He took my number down, but never called me back, just as a i expected. Very poor customer service and extremely unprofessional in dealing with customers. Go elsewhere unless you plan on having a bad day.

I’ve used Globe Tire a number of times now and I really can’t speak highly enough about their people, process and professionalism. Living in Manhattan Beach, our cars seem to pick up a nail or screw every other week. Nadine at Globe always does her best to remove the nail free of charge, and most of the time she succeeds. On those occasions where more expensive repairs or a replacement are required, the costs are always reasonable and the work is done quickly. Other companies could learn a thing or two by watching Globe Tire.

I never go anywhere else for tires. Nadene is always available to help with a smile. Well, before the stupid masks. Highly recommended!!

I pulled up 30min before closing time .Gentleman at the desk said hi how can I help you? I ask if they can help me fix my flat tire but they said sorry we are closed. So why say you close at 5:00pm when really you close at 4:30pm. When I pulled up services guys were just standing around so its like the shop was busy plus no other customer insight.

Quick and easy experience at Globe Tire. Came in with a small leak in one of my tires and had it patched in about the time it took me to grab a coffee from Two Guns down the street and walk back.

I’m generally not a fan of mechanics. Is it so hard to just find an honest mechanic? Evidently the answer is: yes. It’s sad that a merely passable grade constitutes a good mechanic.Globe has been really good. They seem upfront and generally nice. I’ve taken my three cars here for a variety of different things.They do more than just tires. They have a full mechanic section also. I’ve had new tires put on, balance, rotate, align, new CV joints, new wheel bearings, new shocks done here. They’re usually fast and get your car back the same day.I will say as a big plus — they usually call you when they say they will. Lots of mechanics don’t. Like I said, pretty low bar for this profession.No reservations so get their 15 min before they open as there’s usually a line already. And it’s not organized or consistent how they form the line at opening.

Globe Tire has been my go to place for over 5 years. Our Volvo is a 2010 with problems but Al and his team fix them all the time.

Nick is great! After shopping around they offered the best prices on tires and paid great attention to details. Plus free tire rotation!

Just wanted to compliment the folks at Globe Tire for their excellent service this past weekend when I brought in my Porsche 911 on short notice to ask if they could remove a nail from my rear tire and patch it. I also asked them to take care not to scratch the black wheels, which is easy to do. They assured me they would do so, and finished the job within an hour without a blemish and at no charge to me. Very much appreciated. Ill be sure to give them my business in the future.

Ive been taking my car here for years and they always do a great job. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating (special shout out to Josh!) They provide accurate wait times and are always thorough with their explanations and work performance. I never feel that I am being overcharged or that more work is being done than is necessary. I always refer my friends and family to them and they are never disappointed! I highly suggest you make a visit!

This location is easy to get to, with access directly off of Sepulveda. The crew working inside are very friendly, patient, and provide deep explanations before they perform work on your vehicle. Ive had no sensation of price inflation or up selling - and theyve been great at offering low cost solutions! Clean location thats well maintained.

Awesome experience. I had a nail in my tire, so I took my car in. Very nice people, put the car right on the lift (on a busy Saturday!), patched it up, and had the car done in 20min. I went to pay and they said to not worry about it! That really did it for me, of course I tipped then went on my way. They even shined up my tires! Will be back for sure.

We had an urgent situation with our Lexus & AAA was not able to assist. Called & spoke w/Dave Porter late in the day and he offered to look at the car before closing. I arrived before 5pm & Dave had Danny assess the car and repaired it within 20 min. So excellent! They were very busy but they just made it happen! We will definitely return again. Thanks!

The worst customer service I’ve received in a long time. Took three tries and then two and a half hours to change an oil filter that they messed up on the first time. Very unprofessional.

Absolutely the best place to go for tires and tire repair. The staff are competent, efficient, proefessional, and friendly. They erapired my tire when I ran over a big nail. They repaired it within any questions, hassle, and did not even try to sell me anything. Months later, when it came time for me to consider replacing my tires, I could have gone anywhere; but I came to them. Their prices were competitive; even to Costco. More importantly, their random acts of kindness, hands down, are priceless and win my lifetime business. I make it a point to call them first when I need tires and whenever someone ask me where to go for tires or tire repair. I hope they will stick around and wish this business establishment all the success they rightfully earned.

I went in here (for the first time) to have a nail in my tire looked at.Not only did they easily fix the hole - without trying to sell me on an unnecessary new tire - but they also realigned my tires as they done wrong originally apparently.They didnt let me pay for any of this work.I will definitely be a long-time customer and will continue to recommend this place to anyone that needs tires or wheels.

These guys are crooks. They would not honor a warranty on tires that were purchased from their establishment. They did not want to help me at all and I was forced to go to another tire shop to replace the tires at full cost. The other nationally known tire shop I ended up going to stated the tires should have definitely been replaced under warranty. They went on to state that if they had sold me the tires, they would have surely been replaced for free under warranty. Lesson learned. I would not recommend working with Globe Tire.

I suspect Globe has a company that manages their internet presence, since I cannot see how they get a positive score on Yelp. I spoke to a mechanic named Dave at Globe/Manhattan Beach... He said he could change the tire pressure sensors on my Porsche for less (still about $450) than the dealer or my non dealer mechanic, so, I thought Id give Globe a try. ...Dave clearly had no idea how to replace the sensors and was clearly winging it, after waiting for 3 hours on a job (NOT completed) that was suppose to take no more than two hours to complete (his quote), he gave me some BS story saying the sensors work, but it must be the main computer and a bunch of other smoke, blah blah blah... and he fixed nothing on my car... At which time I told him I had a friend who was a service manager at an out of town Porsche dealer and would he be willing to explain it to him ---his eyes got BIG --- he said you know a Porsche service manager???? I called the Porsche manager on cell and gave the phone to Dave; Dave weirdly disconnected him, so I called my friend back, and gave the phone to Dave AGAIN -- he was very rude to the Porsche guy, and said can I help you? in a gruff voice, as though it was some new call and he had no idea what it was about ...I told Dave, auuuuh, you are suppose to tell him the problem you are having, and then Dave hung up on him again. .... It was VERY APPARENT that Dave was TRYING HARD NOT to connect with the Porsche mechanic....I guess he knew the BS story wouldnt fly with the mechanic who knew about the car... Dave completely wasted my time. After this draining experience with Globe, I promptly took my car to my non dealer Porsche mechanic who charges a little more, and he said it would take an hour to replace the sensors and that that was the problem, and he gave me a shop loaner car to run my errands. I am paying 10% more than Dave and Globes quote, but at least I have a person who knows how to fix the car, has integrity, shoots it straight, and doesnt BS me or waste my time. Also, I didnt mention it earlier, but Dave is also a very condescending individual; that was my first red flag. I would have preferred to skip this experience, and will avoid Globe in the future.

Went there initially to fix a flat tire a year ago. They fixed the tire then when I asked what is the cost the front desk said they plugged it for free. There are garages in town that for them to just lift your car is $50. Next time 5 months later a different tire was shredded and they replaced the tire and balanced it right at the time they stated which is important in regards to my time. Recently had another tire I thought was damaged and after their expert looking at it. They stated I dont need it yet. I couldnt believe it in that I went there and they knee I prepared to buy a new tire. I will only buy tires from this establisment as long as I am in southern California. Honest, on time service and not just trying to sell you stuff. They understand that repeat business and word of mouth has higher moral value and in the long term, better for business. My BMW dealer actually recommended them to me initially.
