Great place for fancy, hard to find meats. A bit pricey, but the quality is there. Friendly staff.

One staff member I had to deal with was SUPER rude. When asked a simple question they were completely unhelpful and insulting. Never will I come back. I try to support local businesses however if they don’t know how to treat customers then they only have themselves to blame when they don’t survive.

I very rarely write reviews but just had to say ..WOW! I had one of the best steaks I ever cooked from them. Just moved to MDR and was searching for a good meat market and I will for sure be going back. I have tired many others in W. LA and all the high end grocery markets and I am very impressed (always thought Harris Ranch was the gold standard)

Best rib eye that we ever had. Everyone in my family kept commenting on how good they were. They are pretty thick so we sliced them in half long ways and BBQ them. One steak feeds 2 people with normal appetites. We will definitely be back.

Just an FYI to Manhattan Meat Market: In the past always a 5 star... not this time...$35.00 +/lb for a New York prime steak.. bbq’d to perfection medium rare..Results: Zero flavor..chewy and sinewy... Shellback steaks at $12.95/ serving 5 star... not sure but think they may come from the same meat market.?? Oh Well.. back to Costco for same cut at $15/lb.DonMB9-24-2020

Amazing market and one stop shop for anything you might need! Very helpful and knowledgeable butchers, large wine isle, tasty sandwiches. Just go stop in for yourself and find your new favorite local market!

Best meats around.

I love going there. Love bringing friends there. What a great place to communicate with very polite, helpful and knowledgeable stuff. Everything I buy there is straight out of heaven. Vegetarians, be aware, trying their bacon burger may convert you to meat aficionados! I have not cooked many burgers in my life, but I tried to eat a lot. On the picture is the one I cooked myself and it was one of the best burgers I had in my life.

Best meat in the south bay. If you want a great filet this is the place to buy it. fish is great too. prices arent cheap but I will say it is great value given the quality is so much higher.

Dean and team have the best meat around, always fresh, great advice and great service. Steaks, tri-tip,, fish, and the best bacon burgers anywhere. Also great fresh made sausage. Dont forget the side dishes like their baked beans and fresh salsa. An institution that lives up to its reputation every time.

One of the few real butcher shops around. The selection is always great and the price for the quality is always fair. If you need something special from hard to find cuts to whole pigs they can always get it. Their pre-marinated meats are perfect when you don’t have time to do it yourself.

Long due review, was at LAX on my way back to Singapore. Googled butchers near LAX, and Manhattan Meats came up. Stayed in the area during my previous trip, so took a $20 taxi fare to Manhattan Meats. It is a local deli and butchers shop with friendly service and great advice. Bought about 12 giant steaks to bring back on my flight. When I got home, I put the steaks in the fridge and cooked a couple on the bbq, not knowing what to expect. They were amazing, my wife says they were the best steaks shes had in a while! Had a couple more and froze the rest and had the last 2 steaks last night. Still amazing after a few months in the freezer (I know, better fresh, but still amazingly good!) and will definitely be back there the next time Im in LA. Thanks guys for all your help (and storing my luggage while I had lunch), the meat was amazing!
