Entire staff does know what customer service is. I was a Casino Boss in Las Vegas which depends on exceptional customer service to maintain high revenue. These people have what it takes.
I made an appointment for optometrist. I received a text message the day prior asking me to “2” cancel or “3” reschedule. I did neither as there wasn’t an option to confirm. I show up and my appointment was given away. Freddy the manager was not only rude but refused to even read the text message sent automated by Target that didn’t give an option to confirm. He should not be in customer service as I own and run a business and this was terrible. An empathy free manager? Wow. No apology. This is Target Optical in Manhattan Beach. I welcome any manager to call me to discuss. It was pathetic.
Jasmine was amazing at helping repair my glasses. She was professional, patient and informative. Target Optical is always consistent in their service and Jasmine lived up to that standard! Thank you.
While shopping at Target in January, 2021 I noticed they had an optical department as my Kaiser plan was not accepting my eye insurance coverage for glasses. I asked a few questions and was given a business card. Weeks later I discovered the optometrist I wanted to go to no longer accepted my insurance for glasses, Cigna, so I called Target. After providing requested information I was informed my insurance was accepted and I proceeded to set up an appointment for glasses only. I had my eye examination for free through Kaiser.Upon my arrival the employee who greeted me was professional and the entire area was well sanitized. I was given a tray and proceeded to let her know the type of glasses I was interested in, again maintaining sanitizing conditions as whatever frame you tried on was to be placed in your provided tray. The young lady pick 4 frames I really liked and I eventually purchased one of those. I have a very strong prescription and now I was handed over to another employee, gentlemen, who took the time to gauge where my no line trifocial lines should be place along with progressive premium high index, ultraviolet protection, scratch resistant and premium anti reflectant.My appointment was 2/04 and I received my new glasses about 2 weeks later and they are just fabulous! The gentleman that assisted with the fitting was right on point and I would definitely go back again for another pair!

The optical department is new and the people working here are super friendly and seem to be truly excited to help customers. They accept various insurance plans, at this time they are offering a $25 additional discount, and if you use your red card you get an additional 5% off. They will still work to get you discounts even if you dont have insurance. Today I was given extra lens cloth samples and even a granola bar. Very nice people here. I will be back soon.
