The majority of their content is Dungeons and Dragons fifth edition, and while they have numerous figures among other things they lack in variety (if youre looking for variety in dice this isnt the store to go to though). The store is best in the community set around it where they have many tables set up and a small coffee shop to give it an inviting feel. Personally after multiple trips I generally prefer other table top game shops.

Shop local! These guys sell a wide variety of board games. You can even rent them for the day and play in store. Excellent coffee too.

Absolutely my favorite hobby store in town, The Geek delivers on all gaming needs, knowledge, and staff enthusiasm. Great selection, though Im a wargamer 3/4 of the time and its hard to get stores to move a fairly niche, slow moving item. Coffee is fantastic, and they even let you rent out games to try them for a super low fee.

They have a bunch of amazing people that play a bunch of different games as well as having Knowledgable staff. Thank you for helping my boy with his pokemon deck as well.

Great place if youre into board games or minis; small but good comic selection as well. Staff has always been super friendly to me every time I go in. I dont drink coffee, so I cant speak for that side of the business, but the drink names always make me smile. A+, would recommend.

This is really more of a game store than a coffee house, but the Americano was good enough and the service was excellent.

Comic books, board games and supplies line the walls, while tables and chairs are available for open board game time. If you will shop here a lot, get a sticker reward card. Youll get a sticker for every $50 spent, and then youll get a discount.

They have a good variety of board games and Xbox games but not many PS4 games

Spied this place on our way up town and were able to swing by before we left town. When we arrived it was during the day when many are working or in classes so there wasnt anyone else in the store besides the owner. Gave us a chance to talk with him at length. Very encouraging to hear the backstory of the place as well as what they hope to see down the road. There was a very good selection of games and the whole place is in very good condition. The condition is a big selling point since there are many game stores that appear as if the owners dont care about their image. The good condition of this store makes it very inviting at any time of the day. Having a well stocked snack & drink area is an additional bonus and would make playing games here even more enjoyable. Not sure when we will return since we are not from Manhattan but if we are back in town and theyre open, we will likely drop by again.

Really, really great place to check out new games. Wall to wall shelves full of games I never heard of from any big box store. You even have the option to play before you buy on certain games.

Excellent board game and card shop. My friends and I go here several times a week and we always have a great time. They do a lot of free Magic the Gathering events, as well as open board game days and events for other games like Pokemon. The coffee is great and the staff is always friendly. I do wish prize support was a little better for paid events, but I think thats due to being a relatively new store in the area. All in all, its a great place to spend the afternoon or evening playing games with friends or family. They dont allow outside food, which is a plus for me since there arent any pungent food smells hanging in the air.

Brought in a drink like I do with every single card shop I have been to and the hipster douche working there very firmly and impolite informed me that because they sell stuff you cant bring it in with you. Just terrible service. If you like paying $6 for a small drink while youre there this is the place to be.

The owner was friendly and helpful while explaining his business. Its location is on the rear of the Poyntz Avenue building along 3rd Street. There is plenty of parking available. The focus is on computer games.
