It used to be a great place to find a great deal now its just a small version of Walmart.

Store was nice- a little messy in some areas, but that just looked like customers messing with things. They have some great deals in the store, but some items seem really cheap like they will break quickly. I have several kids and although the prices are family friendly I do not think some of the furniture/items could withstand the love of children well. They have a great selection of holiday items and candy.

I had a very pleasant visit on June 13, 2020. The manager Fernando and his employees were very helpful and polite. They assisted all my needs with a smile. I didnt feel rushed or as if I was being annoying to them. They took time to explain things I had questions about along with giving great advise and ideas. I am very happy that I came here and will definitely be back. I just hope I receive the same courteous and respect on my next visit. Thanks Big Lots for hiring such great people!!!!!!!

Its a small and less busy walmart, great option if your trying to avoid crowds while getting all your shopping done at 1 store

Better than other Big Lots in the area! Not a big fan of the latest remodel & dont seem to have as large of a selection on things like they used to, but its clean, checking out is always fast, and the ladies at checkout are always really nice and upbeat!

Was looking through a bin of shirts, trying to find my size. Once I finally find the shirt I go down the next aisle and the manager walks up and asks, What are you looking for because youve been here a little too long to be buying something. I didnt realize there was a time limit on shopping. I wouldnt have spent so much time if they had their stuff organized and I could actually find the right size of what I wanted. I was in shock of how disrespectful he was. After he spoke to me, he then followed me around like he was watching me. Keep in mind, I had no bag, purse or jacket onNothing I had or was wearing couldve concealed anything. So I dont understand this guys deal.

I changed my review. Many of my reviews have started to cover the business’ response to the COVID-19 pandemic for those that are concerned with the standards of their shopping experience. I felt my experience here should be shared with those that need such information.This location is doing better as far as cleanliness and organization. The staff is trying to focus on the things that make for a nice shopping experience. So if you are looking for a basic run to the store then this isn’t a bad option.If you are also looking at how businesses choose to conduct themselves towards the workers and environments feel free to hear me out.My last moments working at this store were slightly shocking as I watched how they handled the pandemic and my personal experiences coming down with the virus COVID-19. The managers follow rules and guidelines but nothing more if it is inconvenient.As a single mom that caught COVID, I watched as they dealt with my case and was horrified at the outcome of it all. They made clear to me that my having to take off work to figure out if I had COVID was “shady behavior.” That no one could prove where my illness came from so no one could blame me if I continued working my scheduled shifts for the week, even though I had symptoms. They even went as far as to question if my doctor was qualified to speak on the COVID virus.My general physician wanted me tested a second time to rule out the COVID virus because she was worried about a false negative. My transfer to a store closer to me was denied due to me receiving a positive test result. I was contagious for over 6 weeks and submitted all my information from the doctors to them. There was no problem with my transfer until I caught COVID. Instead of transferring me, they let me go due to me not working while my doctor said I needed to quarantine, and they told unemployment I put in my resignation.For these reason I have given my overall assessment as a 2 star business.

Never experienced where the item for display is on sale BUT they do not have any in stock, they can not order the item but yet will not sale the display. Plus the manager we spoke with is unprofessional in appearance.. sloppy uncombed hair and super baggy clothes.

I place an online order wasnt ready, rude cashier, I couldnt ask a simple question with the annoyed body language. Wasnt treated equally like the other customers, cashier apologized for my items missing, but not for her services towards me.

I go to Big Lots about once a month for certain items. I dont think they have the selection.or pricing they once had.

Free DVD today with my Big Lots Rewards! I love the customer service there...always a delight to be treated so nice! I wish I wouldve asked our cashier her name..she greeted us when we came in and was so personable and nice! I have my receipt but her name isnt on there!

I like all big lots. Cheap, simple, and to the point! Bought our furniture here 2 years ago (very cheap) and it has held up EXTREMELY well. We are very hard on it and have pets. I was skeptical when purchasing a microfiber sectional for dirt cheap. I’m impressed! Also usually buy our big flower pots here much cheaper than other big box stores!

The customer service here at this location is TERRIBLE. I’ve shopped at this location a few times, and each visit is the same. Quite frankly I believed the district manager or the corporate office needs to get involved with some type of corporate training. Each time I’ve visited this location I felt profiled. My last visit was the final straw. I went in to look for a desk, I found one that I really liked, and asked the STORE MANGER if he could help me locate the price. When I asked it seems as if I was an inconvenience. When I noticed his reaction, I asked if he mind and he said no. However, as soon as he found the price he walked off. Again, this is the STORE MANAGER. He not once asked if I wanted to purchase it or anything. Even through all this I decided to walk through the store to do more browsing. It was at this moment when I noticed the cashier watching me, continuing to stare without asking if I needed help with anything. It was at this moment where I realized I was not welcomed. I will not spend my dollar where I am not wanted. And in laments terms the employees here has a racial tension that needs to be dismantled.

Couldnt find nothing in the store when they first open the store was really nice I asked this young man if they had something that I was looking for he went to go check but he just shook his head no store was really unorganized.

Most of the store is empty. Needs to be restocked.

LOVE the new store but the young kid employee working the register was not trained properly. He just acted weird, awkward and clueless and not a care in the world.He over charged me twice. Did my refund wrong.The store itself is very nice and employees were nice but that KID needs to be off the register and put in the stock room. Seriously

Here we go again. I have been to your store 3 times and I have yet to find your cappchino pods advertised on line as in store only. So where do I find it. I have been here locally and the Big Lots on Cooper & Pioneer street and have not found any. What do I have to do to find this product. I like your store as a rule except for this one problem. Also no Hazel Nut pods.

Good house hold things

HORRIBLE, I ask the sales associates what a price was for a folding bed. What I got was go ask the front, WHAAT!? And he didnt even bother to go ask the front for a price check, he just stood there in the aisle doing nothing, WOW! And when I go to the front she asks someone on their mouthpiece and reply was their over there go ask them or go ask a furniture associate. WHAT! NO ONE was at the furniture department and by the time they got to me to tell me I was already checking out. Not even worth buying if this is the kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE I get. This is probably why their sales are down and no is shopping at this location anymore. Their probably close because of this. Usually I like shopping here but Im telling ya dont bother no one their because you might as well be working their yourself if you want anything done. Geezs.

I have been to the store once before and it was nice but errible customer service! Called the store asking for a charger and was astounded by the absolute rudeness of the woman who answered the phone! I was cheerful and warm because I know how tedious it can be to work the phone lines but I was met with acrimony. Then she had the audacity to hang the phone up on me! Definitely not bringing my business here because of this incident. I now go to the Arlington one. Sorry Mansfield but this doesnt even deserve one star*I called on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 6PM. Id advise you not to do the same.

I made a special trip for an email coupon I received. The reward program is a joke! The system should know when you have an email coupon and use it when you run your rewards card. The cashier didnt try to mitigate the possibility of losing a customer even when I brought it to her attention.

I will never shop at any big lots again. The worst customer service every time I go inside the store and very unprofessional manager name Moses claimed he was manager over the phone and I have sent corporate a letter regarding this location. It is true what they say you get what you pay for avoid buying any type of furniture from this location including beds it will break down quick and warrenty is useless. Its better to spend a little extra and get your moneys worth some were else and never expect to enter this place and receive good customer service not going to happen! lesson learned.Review Update Oct272019: I have changed my review from 1star to a 5 Big lots customer service has improved greatly!!! along with the rewards program. I shop here all the time now and reccomend to my friends and family to try the rewards program+
