Always clean, friendly staff. Great place to shop for groceries

I love that this store is always clean and has fresh produce. Giving Market Street some slight competition. Beware of mark downs here on meat, its not worth looking at, its always bad. Go to Kroger for markdowns. Also, every time I shop here and get a markdown the cashiers ring them wrong. Even when I dont, cashiers dont make a several errors; so check your receipt!

Today 9/30/2021 4:30 PM Mansfield Tx. The attached are pictures I took of the condition in the mens room south entrance. This is not an unusual contition. Both the restroom by the meat area is also, in most cases either not clean or broken soap dispensers or hand towel dispenser. I have pictures. KMcomplained to location staff

I love this store, clean, organized and not nearly as crowded as Walmart, in and out in half the time, and they open at 6am.

Store is clean and well organized and stocked. People are friendly. My only complaint is that their prices are high even if you clip the Just 4 U coupons.

The Associates at Tom Thumb appear to be extremely helpful in a timely manner. The checkouts move along in an acceptable way. The prices are a little steep for my budget . The store is clean and appeared to be well stocked.

I love this supermarket, the new manager Sharon is wonderful, the variety of international food is divine, I looked everywhere for kosher food and many places here in Mansfield were not aware of what that means I was told: did you look at the Mexican food area? by a staff member of another supermarket. My new and forever supermarket great staff, great variety, great meat, produce, and Starbucks Lady.

The service is impeccable. The store is clean and well stocked. I love the Digital Coupon App. Use it to save big $$$.

Good sale prices and helpful staff. My only complaint, is app on my phone is always a problem.

Nice and clean and not very crowded lately. The employees are nice and professional as well.

They had a couple of items on sale that I wanted before the sale ended at midnight so I dropped by about 10 P. M. This store has higher prices than Walmart or Kroger, but they also carry some items that the other stores dont. Because it was so late I was able to get what I needed in no time at all. The store is pleasant enough to shop in. The cashier neglected to thank me, which, unfortunately, is pretty common these days.

Everything was clean and shiny. Just overpriced in my opinion.

Wide selection off beef, helps if you have a Ton Thomb card

The store is well kept and Gary, one of the butchers, is a goto for selection. Watch meat prices. Bakery has options that the local Walmart does not. The deli meat selection was small so the local Kroger is a better place for choices of deli meats and cheeses. Not sure about Tom Thumbs mask policy but I saw a produce stocker not wearing a mask at all so if your paranoid about masks think about calling ahead to find out the policy. Over all nice store. Prices are slightly higher with Tom Thumb as always.

Went to meat counter, stood for 10 minutes with two staff members behind the counter who chose to stare at me instead of offering help. I set my basket down and said, have a nice day and left without a purchase. Why come to work if youre not going to do your job? Normally its a good place to shop.

Today, the coffee lady at starbucks was pleasant, but when I got to the check out lane, the clerk that ring me up was not so pleasant. He kinda acted like he was offended because I didnt use self checkout. I have problems with my arms and they hurt so I choose not to use the self checkout due to carpal tunnel. I really am disappointed because I actually love shopping there.

I would give five stars if I could find anyone to assist me in the meat market. Yall are missing sales by being absent.

This place is excellent to buy meat. I was looking for a roast on a budget. I dont know about you but It seems like prices are going up more even though we are in the middle of a pandemic!!! Shouldnt it be the opposite?? Have you seen the lines on TV of ppl getting food donations. I need to be one of them. It just happened to be that I stopped in to Tom thumb and they had meat marked down 50%. I thought I had hit the jack pot of pot roast.It was a 7 bone roast that was originally $17.49. I got it for %50 off. I was so Blessed. So always check the end of the meat counter too see what meats they are trying too sale that day in a hurry especially if you are on a budget or live on a fixed income.

My only reason for a 4 star rating is for the following. Bought my son a birthday cake, asked them to write happy birthday on it. When I got home the fondant was cracked and it wasnt like this when my son chose it.

We walked through the entire store looking for a phone charger. I kept telling my friend to ask someone for help. There was noone else in the store several employees heard our conversation and noone offered help. It was 10:30 in the morning. Very disappointing. The entire shopping center was a disappointment so not a suprise.

Got a few things for the house and got tag stickers all on one trip.

I was just in your store and was appalled. Instead of going through the self check out I decided to use the normal check out. Big mistake. I had to listen to the black female cashier complaining about her job. Her black bagger was there egging it on with her as well. Unfortunately, I wasnt the only customer in line so EVERYONE had to hear. And she was still ranting on when I left the store. NOT GOOD. This happened today, 9/20/21, at exactly 1130 and I noticed at the bottom of my receipt that her name is Faith. Hope yall actually do something about it🤷‍♂️And if you need a copy of my receipt....not a problem

Drove an hour to get there and was very happy that I was able to get bottled water, milk and bread. Tried five stores in my town and they were all out.

Clean store. Bakery Dept. runneth over with Halloween, Fall and regular goodies. Deli areas had homemade Chicken Pot Pies at the ready to bake at home. Which is great on a wet, cold dreary day like it was today 10/27/20.

Looks like they havent had a supply truck in a few days due to the ice/snow storm. Still better than going to walmart

Weve enjoyed shopping at this Tom Thumb for over 10 years, but we feel strongly that it may be time for a change. The social distancing aids (arrows mapped out on floors) are completely ignored by not only the customers, but the employees and management as well. That is very frustrating for those of us trying to comply with safety guidelines. Weve discussed these frustrations with management the past 3 trips and yet it is obvious that safety of customers and employees will not be respected.

Good place to grocery shop in Mansfield

Fresh produce and bakery. The pharmacy staff are always really helpful as well! I used the florist for my wedding and it was beautiful!!! Ive never used the curbside pickup but shopping in the store is always easy and a good experience.

Out of few of sale items. Produce was great. Having only one entrance open makes parking and walking difficult for us seniors. But know its just part of new normal.

Last time I go to this store. I have been a customer since the day it opened. Recently the employees have been rude and uncaring. Today I had to use my cane and walking was difficult. There was only one cashier and 4 people in line in front of me. I had to wear a mask and it was hot in the store. I ask the bag boy if he could help take my groceries out to the car. He went to look for someone to do it but he said no one was available. I saw 4-5 employees standing around just talking to each other. Management needs to train their employees. Lost a good customer. I’ll go to Market Street. They are so nice and always take your groceries to your car. Goodbye Tom Thumb.

Ive been going here for a while now. This store is very unethical. Its been more than 5 times that I found expired produce or can foods. They intentionally place expired food in front of fresh one. When Im talking about expired food, Im talking about at least 1 month or two, not a day or two. It is intentionally placed like that. And this is not the first time and it not just one item. Evaporated milk, yogurt, peanut butter, can corns, etc. Its really annoying to go back to the store to get that replaced.

The gas station was great but the store has really gone downhill. I find quite a lot of items that have expired, produce with mold and gnats, meat quality is more along the lines of Select grade versus choice and seafood that has gone bad. Im very careful what I purchase there and if time wasnt such a issue for me, I wouldnt shop there at all.

First off... Its not Walmart, so they have a nice variety of everything. The quality of their items is great. Not once have I ever picked up an item that was past its expiration date (something i have to do at most other stores

I like going here as an alternative to Kroger as it is much less crowded. As a bonus, at times they have good sales.

This is by far the BEST Tom Thumb in the area. They always have their shelves stocked, store is very clean, and LINES MOVE QUICKLY AND ARE USUALLY NOT LONG AT ALL. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Justin in their produce section was especially helpful and Kyle Adams is the type of employee that anyone would want representing their business. Not only did he attentively listen to my concern/request, he IMMEDIATELY addressed and resolved it before I even left the store! Exceptional customer service from both of these gentlemen. I would absolutely recommend this store and chain to family and friends, as well as using Tom Thumb as my first choice in grocery stores when shopping in the future.

There are several grocery stores near my home, but I always find myself choosing Tom Thumb...why?The reason is simple, the people. Example: Every time I’m in the meat department looking around for a good cut of meat, Daniel (my favorite butcher) always takes the time to go out of his way to walk over and greet me. Then he makes certain I’m aware of the best deal, best cut, best bang for my buck..and he does it with a smile and usually some brief friendly conversation. When I leave the store I always feel good about my purchase, and I feel like I’m doing business with a friend...that’s why Tom Thumb in Mansfield, Texas is my grocery store of choice! Wonderful atmosphere when I want to escape the large crowds and noise from the other box store with the Big W, I come to this store its quiet and peaceful its clean and their prices are competitive and have a lot of Specialties especially in the bakery, l love their cakes.The store is always clean and well-lit the staff is always friendly and helpful a great place to shop check it out!

Me and my wife spend thousands of dollars in this store. I know you cant do nothing about the customers of acting racist, but when it goes on with the employees something needs to be done. My wife and daughter have been racially profiled and accused of stealing. You would thing all of this stuff was done and over with back in the 60s. Its 2020! My wife talked to the manager up front about the situation. The one with the braids. Her reaction was I never got that vibe from her. Really she just told you and thats all you are going to do about it. Well we are going to take are thousands of dollars else where. Maybe sprouts, Krogers, or Walmart.

This is our grocery store since I moved to Mansfield 11 years ago. They know us by name and we do too. They have everything we need and great sales. I use the app before I go so I know what to buy and what is on sale.Love this store.

Always stocked well, never crowded. Prices are on the higher side, so you just have to shop sales or pay a premium for convenience. They have a great selection of prepared foods, too, such as soups, trays, dips, salsa, etc.

Store looks nice but watch out. I stopped to purchase a few items. A box of crackers, some oatmeal and 4 packets of tuna. I was given two bags. I would not have expected more for such a small number of items. When I got home I was missing 3 of the 4 tuna packets. To get a refund they said I would have to go back to the store, a 40 minute drive for me. I purchased the items on my credit card and could be easily refunded without further inconvenience to me, but they refused.

Yes, the store is clean and well stocked with a huge variety of every day items and special stuff as well.Went there the other day to get some flowers for a birthday party. When my Google pay would not work, the front end manager did everything she could to get it to work. She then asked me to try the register at customer service. It didnt work either, but the cashier offered to pay for the items herself if I would come back later and reimburse her.I just drove home and got my actual card, but wont forget the lengths these two employees went to help me out.
