I have purchased two different helmets from MicroDOT, and both of them have been awesome. The first, the Twister 2.0, is a reversible blister cap that is super thin, super lightweight, super sleek, and super comfortable. I cannot recommend this helmet enough for those that want an open face experience in the smallest, safest way available.The second helmet is my Mayhem German style helmet. Man oh man is this thing the business! This is my new go-to helmet for all of my riding. It is beyond comfortable, stays in place, looks really cool, and is really light.Both helmets fit in my saddlebag individually and I can stow my glasses, gloves, and skull cap liner in them. This makes them super easy to secure when I am not on the bike, and super convenient to get to at all times. You really cannot go wrong with MicroDOT. So lets hit every section of dealing with micro dot. First off the website is nice and straight forward and easy to navigate. The price of their helmets is well worth the product. The only real downside i could say about my experience is that I paid extra for quick shipping eventhough the company offers free shipping and the additional price i paid for shipping was not worth it seeing as it probably would have come in the same time regardless. The product is very comfortable and well designed. The helmet sits on your head very nice and is not huge like other helmets. Other than the shipping being slow I wouldnt recommend any other helmet over this one.

These helmets are A-1!!! I bought the German one last year and bought a different micro style this year! Both fit true to size slightly tight at first but fit just right after about two rides. Low profile at its best! I might just buy another one in a different style to have the whole set. Good stuff!!

I bought the blister in XL. The Helmet showed up 3 days after I placed my order. The helmet was packaged nicely and more importantly fit like it was custom made for me. This is what I’ve been looking for for years. DOT approved and no mushroom head! Super light weight and slim design gives you the look of the old school peanut shell with the safety of a DOT helmet. The quick release also makes it super nice specially having a beard. My measurement landed right between sizes so I went down assuming padding would give and conform and it fits perfectly.

The blister I got was pretty good fits nice and snug after a few rides it got more comfortable. Quick release was easy to undo my strap. High speeds stays on head and doesn’t lift.Would recommend these helmets to anyone needing a great dot, small, lightweight helmet

I didnt do much research when I bought my first low profile helmet (online), which resulted in the classic mushroom look. After enduring that for several months I decided I needed a trimmer profile. This time I compared numerous brands and reviews, and finally settled on Micro DOT Helmet Companys Blister beanie model. I absolutely love this helmet. I have been riding for over 35 years and this is by far the best helmet that I have ever owned. When I received it,very FAST BTW, my wife insisted that I order her one, which I did. She loved it. One of my riding friends tried it on and ordered him one. This a great helmet! They were quite adamant that I measure my head. I was glad that I did, because it was a perfect fit. Mine is a polo style fiberglass, with the DOT on the visor side. Had exactly what I was looking for and price was good. Better than that though was USPS had weird tracking info and I sent a message on a Saturday and Mike responded extremely fast with best customer service bar none.

Nice helmet. Make sure to measure head size and shape correctly. My head size was 22 inches and I was in between sizes. I ended up ordering the Blister Matte Black model in a small. It fits well. Search around for coupon to save some money. These are made in China helmets and are DOT compliant and similar models are sold all over online. Micro Dot customer service is excellent and will buy again when needed.

Ordered the mayhem in a large. My head measurement is on the high side for a large. When I first put the helmet on I was worried because it was a little on the snug side, glad I gave it some time! I wore it around the house for about a half an hour and the next day I took it for it’s first ride. Absolutely perfect after 2 hours of wear, and super lightweight! Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for a half helmet, microdot makes an awesome product!

These really are lightest helmets ever made. I measured my head and the fitment is perfect according to there chart. The ear pads don’t fit the mayhem helmet but fit real nice on backwards polo helmet. The shipping and handling is lightning fast. The only bad thing about these helmets, they are not made in USA. Other than that, pretty good helmet.

This is my second order for a set of ear pad warmers noise blockers which work great and I went so far as to add some speakers to minds I cut mines open drop some beats headphone speakers in sewed them back up and wallah high fidelity at its finest and again the warmers are a great buy and work very well at keeping your ears warm and blocking out the noise

Helmet fits great. Sits nice and low, a lot lower then my previous half helmet. With it being lower I noticed it feels a lot better at higher speeds, didnt feel like it wanted to take off of loosened. Exactly what I expected and this helmet delivered. I had tried EIGHT different helmets from various helmet manufacturers, and had sent ALL of them back. I was getting to the point where I thought I’d never get a helmet to fit my head! I have an oval shaped head (which isn’t that unusual, but apparently most helmet makers think so), and all the helmets I tried were basically round. I decided to give Micro DOT Helmets a try, because they actually had a helmet for oval shaped heads. When I received the helmet and tried it on, it fit my head as if someone had taken a mold of my skull! Incredibly light, and PERFECT fit. I can’t recommend Micro DOT enough. AND… it’s run by vets. So it makes it that much better!

Love this hemet! I am not a helmet wearer but recently promised I would. My old helmets were halves and were heavy and gave me a mushroom head. I picked the Twister and absolutely love it. The micro helmets that I received are by far the best I have had and I have had a lot of different ones, been riding for 40 plus years . They are well made and fit snug and are so light weight it’s unreal . The latch is quick and easy on and off well made Design. Don’t have that mushroom head look and bobble head of being heavy no neck pain anymore. I now have my go to helmets.

I would give it 5 stars but 1 flaw. Helmet fits great, looks great, and has the quick release. Only issue I have is when I take the helmet off the inner padding liner pulls away from helmet and stick to my head. Maybe you can fix this somehow. Other then that its a great helmet.

I was very skeptical on ordering a helmet prior to trying it on, but after some shopping around I finally decided to pull the trigger on this helmet and I’m so glad I did. This is a great helmet. It is easy to adjust to whatever tightness you need. The quick release clip is very nice. It is slim and comfortable to wear while riding. The wind does not catch it and try to lift it up as much as the other half helmets I have worn. It is very light weight as well. I would suggest deciding how you will intend to wear the helmet before buying. I chose the twister 2.0 since I wear the bill in the back. It is reversible, but it definitely fits best with the bill in the back for me. It is a great product in function, looks, and comfort.

We have been looking for quality half helmets for a while. Most of them looked like someone trying to balance a pistachio shell on a bowling ball... never quite fitting in a acceptable way.I dont like wearing full helmets because of sound loss. First, the measurements were easy to do. Then Micro DOT texted me to verify. Shipment was supposed to be in 5 - 7 days. The helmets arrived in 2 days. Both mine and my husbands helmets fit perfectly. The helmet did not fit properly. I followed the instructions, measured my head. Still did not fit. It cost me $13 to mail the helmet back and another $10 for restocking their helmet. I’m out $23. How do you think I feel?

Initially bought a Twister. The fit for my wife was perfect. Her favorite part was the comfort of the padding and the straps. But the bottom line was the weight. It makes the helmet a home run. Very lightweight, very comfortable and mostly it doesnt look like a huge bucket on your head. I wear a small and most helmets just swallow my head and have to fight wind so much my neck would hurt. I bought the polo style and even with the small brim on the front, it doesnt catch as much wind since it sits lower on my head. Price is reasonable and would pay more after seeing and wearing it. One of the lightest helmets I’ve ever wore. The fit is nice and low, and doesn’t want to pull up while I ride. Took me a minute to adjust the straps to a position that I liked, but once I figured it out it was very comfortable. This will definitely take over as my hot day, around town helmet.

I live in Pennsylvania where I don’t have to wear a Helmet. So I’ve been looking for years for a helmet that is small but also DOT certified for when I ride out of state. So this helmet is not a skull cap I don’t think they will ever be DOT approved, But this may be the closest your gonna get! Beautifully made, extremely easy on/off the chin. No more looping through and snapping. Click in like a zip tie. When ya wanna take it off just pull lightly and comes right off. Very secure when clipped in. Trusted me I tested it thoroughly. I’ve had a lot of compliments and questions about this helmet. I 100% recommend this helmet to everyone that asks.

I love the helmet. It fits great. We bought it while we were at Sturgis and the ladies working there were very nice and helpful. They even had it shipped to my house because I didn’t have room left in our bike.

Their sizing chart and process work great. They check multiple times to make sure you ordered the correct size. The helmet is perfect. It’s slim but solid. It looks amazing on your head as well. Doesn’t sit high and look goofy. You can feel the quality in it. And coming from the old style chin strap- their quick disconnect chin strap is amazing. I’m buying a second for my wife.

I received 5 star service, hence, the 5 star rating. I was contacted within 15 minutes of placing my order to ensure that size I ordered was correct. I was advised to go up a size due to my sizing measurement being between two sizes. This turned out to be a great suggestion. When I received the helmet, it was a perfect fit.
