I usually find what I need here. Some items are only available online or are picked over. Overall I can get what I need or close to it when I need something quickly.. Workers have always been kind and helpful.

The sale I went for wasnt on anymore but I found some other things I liked.

Received bad customers service from the cashier and another employee cutting fabric. They didnt know the product I was buying was on sale and the register was ringing up as normal full price. An employee went to check and stated my item was not on sale due to the sign that was put up by them being wrong. I tried to tell the cashier they were on sale and how I just came from another store that honored it. She got an attitude and told me her store is different. I had to go get my phone to bring back and show her what they are listed at online and in store. She finally accepted it but then told me I would have to get back in line to be helped. She refused to service me even though I had already waited in line.

Its a great store. Id have given it 5 stars but they didnt have a soap section. Nothing! But lots of fabric & beads & stuff. Just no soap. 😥

Typical joann location, albeit a bit smaller than others. Seems odd to walk in the store and always seem to see bare racks where the seasonal stuff is kept though, and that could be off putting to newer customers that feel the store isnt well stocked. Havent run into them not having the things I need even in the middle of the worst months of the pandemic when I was searching for fabric and elastic.

What happened? This store used to have such great customer service. Only 3 employees working, one at the register and 2 at the fabric cutting station. All I had were a couple of questions, so I take a number and wait. Just like that, were down to one employee at the station because the second one left for the register. Wound up not getting anything.

Woud have given it 3 stars but In/out at mall parking lot gets crowded. Store is in good location w/ample parking in front. Its a well stocked fabrics+ store. Only issue ive experienced has been long waits at the fabric counter and the check out lines due to short staffing(I assume). Was in there 1.28.21: grabbed some items then went to fabric counter to get velcro and ask a question; took a number was third in line with only one worker behind the counter. Stood there 12 min with no line movement; handed my number to the lady behind me and proceeded to check-out and again was third in line with only one employee at the registers. After about 5 min another employee opened a second register so my total wait time at check out was only 8-9 min but it felt like more due to the wait at fabric counter.

Today June 15, 2020, it was limited to the number of people inside at a time, but we got right in. There were plenty of sales! But the quilting fabric area was pretty depleted. Ive never seen it so empty! I felt like I got some good deals! Im sure they will have more items coming. I saw some really cute Christmas quilting fabric already.

Alot of stuff over prices. And no one around to help you. Very clean store and outstanding cashier I had .

Friendly staff always helpful when I have questions about a project Im working on only annoying thing about this store is the rude customer base that doesnt put items back and leaves isles a mess but other than that the staff here are great and always helpful when your nice with them also

The layout is a little confusing due to the signs being so small to find any craft supplies and Ive had issues of the walkways always being dirty. But, Im able to pick up supplies without an issue.

Was just here today. Due to the COVID crisis and social distancing guidelines, they were only allowing so many people in at a time so the “extra” people had to wait in a line outside...and it’s currently 95 degrees 🥵 all of a sudden, an employee comes outside with a cart full of bottled waters—all for the handful of people that were waiting in line. DEFINITELY appreciated on such a warm day! 😊

When i came there yesterday to buy some fabric. I spent an a hour because its a lot of choices!!. After I’m done the old lady with the gray hair who cut my fabric was rude. Not smiling, and starring at me and i feel not welcome. But Thanks good for other cashier she handled my stuff and she’s very nice.

I like that the staff doesnt follow you around. You go to the fabric counter and ask for help if you need it. Very independent shopping is my preference. I walked around looking at absolutely everything without being bothered. The lady at checkout was very nice. I always come here for my crafty needs.

Always fun to visit when Im in town. In fact its a must~ saying hello to the gals and checking out the different / new selections of yarn was first on my list. These days I have to pop in on my other love, fabric! What might be different and new I say to myself as the miles get shorter and the anticipation gets stronger. Needed washable paint for our Mothers day Sunday school project. The girl a register was very very helpful. In and out no time. That was good because my wife and I could have spent all day on there. So much fun!

As a guy being dragged here by my wife I hate it. Other than that seems like a good place for things.

Try to RIP u off using the coupons, saying half off but wont use online sales to match. Same company.

This store is pretty awesome. The regular manager is awesome. She works her butt off and is still very helpful and never rude. Every once in a while we have a small annoyance with one of the new workers and their customer service but all in all this is a good store to go to. It is usually a good experience and they stack coupons!

Associates were helpful and friendly. There was a short line maybe one or two people but the line moved fast

Nice selection and variety of different material. They just need to try and keep the notions accessories etc stocked up. A bit disappointing that the most common colors and craft supplies are sitting up on the very top shelves waiting to be stocked on the shelves. Maybe could use a few more employees to keep up with supply and demand.

Had a great experience, the staff is extremely helpful.I went in looking for fabric for a craft I was working on and unfortunately I dont know much about fabrics. I was helped at the fabric counter when my number was called. Not only did she direct me to where I was going, when she saw how lost I mustve apparently looked, she went with me and helped me figure it out.

We are new to the area and I was thrilled to find a JOANNS nearby.Its always fun to visit the shop and I always find something I like.

I usually don’t leave reviews but. I went to JoAnns last night and was shocked at the condition of the store. It looked like a tornado went threw there. The first 3 isles were empty. Couldn’t find anything I was looking for. The back right corner looked like they were just throwing stuff back there. The isles were just trashed. Very disappointed. Then I went up front to pay and next the there clearance Christmas stuff it says take an extra 20% off. When I got to the register the girl said not unless your a teacher. I gaver her my coupon and she said it worked but when I looked at my receipt it did not work. Frustrating

They always have great sales and if its not on sale theres always mobile coupons!

JoAnns Manteca store is always clean and has a great variety of items. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient for me when I go to visit my mom. I can pop in there to get items she might need. I wish the aisles were a bit wider to accommodate two shopping carts, side by side. All in all I enjoy shopping there frequently.

Wasnt able to locate the item i was looking for during my visit, but decided to browse anyway. Some good sales on fabrics and home decor. Will be back.

For the most part the store was ok & employees were nothing more than kinda just there. The older kinda heavy set checker who closed last night (Monday night) was less than helpful, kinda rude & not willing to answer any of my inquiries about coupons, simply said shes not sure how I Vann access any coupons that I knew were available. She answered every question I had with a short yes or no answer. Later, after I left I learned for myself that I could download the app & access the coupons. Wish I knew that b4 I left the store.

We stooped here because it was the only place around that had the yarn we needed for a blanket my wife was making. It did the trick and was neat and orderly.
